Koinu blushed softly as she stayed close to Cali still though did smile at her father softly. "Oh Poppa, is Momma up? And are we going to the base today?" she asked since she really liked going to the military base, everyone there was like family to her really and she loved watching her mother and father work.

(oh yeah could you please put up and profile for Cali on you're first post with Angel and Trish?)

Cali smiled. "That would be fun." "Yes, we need to head over there." Angel said. "I figured that Cali would want to meet his co workers in the medic station." he said. Cali nodded in agreement.

"So when are we going then love?" Ketsune asked as she walked into the room having heard the last part of what they were talking about and smiled some as she looked at Koinu and Cali.

Cali smiled back shyly. "Once I get the horses ready." he said. "I was cleaning my swords so I had a choice this time." he said chuckling. He picked his favorite anyway and sheathed it, then went to go get the horses ready.

(Oh I was a bit surprised when I saw his bio, he's younger then Koinu... did you mean to do that or did you not notice?)

Ketsune and Koinu watched as Angel headed outside and then Koinu looked at her mother. "So do you two want something to eat before we head out?" she asked softly and Koinu smiled some nodding "What about you Cali? Do you want something to eat?" Koinu asked him softly though they were already heading towards the kitchen anyway.

He smiled softly. "Sure, sounds like a good idea." he said trying to be polite though probably not doing a good job of it at the moment.

"So what do you two want to eat? I could make pancakes, or egg... or omlets... or we have cerial." Ketsune asked and Koinu thought some. "Oo! Momma could you make pancakes? I love chocolate chip pancakes." Koinu asked with a smile and Ketsune laughed some. "Sure... Cali does that sound good to you or do you want something else?" she asked softly with a kind smile.

"Sounds perfect." he said smiling happily, he loved those. Cali wanted to ask about stories he's heard while in towns but didn't ask, he knew from what he heard that both she and Angel would want to forget those memoires.

"Man are you quiet Cali... what's on you're mind? You know if you have any questions or anything you can ask me or Angel." Ketsune said knowing that the boy probably had allot of questions for them but just didn't want to seem rude and ask... so she went ahead and said that he could ask them whatever. She was working on the pancakes anyway so she didn't mind a little conversation.

"I know, I'm used to being quiet for one reason or another." he said. "I am wondering why I'm not dead right now, as blunt as that is." he spoke his mind for once and he somehow knew he wouldn't get hit for it.

"Oh, ha ha I thought he would have already told you by now." Ketsune smiled some as she continued to fix the pancakes. "Angel has a special power... he can look into peoples souls, he used to use that when he was catching targets, you're alive for pretty much the same reason I'm alive, he didn't see you as a real threat, you're heart wasn't set on killing us, and it didn't seem you really wanted to hurt Koinu. Does that make sense?" she asked softly before turning with a plate full of chocolate chip pancakes and walked over to the table and set it down. She then set out two other plates before setting down across from the two wondering if he had any other questions. Koinu smiled and took her fork and pulled two of the pancakes onto her plate and started to eat them right away.

he smiled and nodded walking over and sitting next to Koinu. "Yeah, I do remember that now. He was going to try and trick Angel with that when he first got the mission and Koinu as a target, the thought of losing her stabbed at his heart with such a ferocity that he had to stop thinking about it.

((Cali remembered hearing that Ange; could read hearts when he got his mission. He planned on trying to trick him that way. He couldn't stand the thought of losing koinu now so he stopped thinking about his plan and mission of the past))

"So is there anything else that you'd like to know about us?" Ketsune asked softly as she watched the two eat and could tell that Cali really cared about Koinu and wouldn't do anything to harm her in the least.

He nodded, no not trusting his voice at this point. He had just been thinking of the most heart renching thing possible.he finished eating and felt better like he hoped would happen.

"Well why don't you ask away then? If you have any other questions that is." Ketsune said laughing a little since he nodded to her asking if he had any more questions but didn't answer. Koinu was soon finished as well with her food and smiled some as she got up and cleared the table easily since there wasn't any extra.

"I am curious about what happened when you two got captured, but I wouldn't want any bad or hurtful memories to resurface. I did hear about how you escaped, but I didn't hear what happened during, but ... forget i said anything, it isn't worth my curioucity." he said not wanting to hurt her already.

"Oh.... you mean when I came back from traveling to kill Haren. It's okay, actually I've had allot of people ask me if I'm okay still after all that." Ketsune said softly then thought some. "Well... you know about the war I'm sure and that we were all captured. During that time though the man that had captured us tried to torture me and Angel, but it didn't work at all, they wanted to know some information but we just wouldn't tell them. So instead of torturing us both physically he came up with another idea." she had to pause for a moment to gather her thoughts and keep herself calm. "You met Titania last night at dinner and I'm sure you know that she's not part of the military or anything like that, well the man that was holding us there was her father... he had a very twisted idea, he wanted an army of experiments... so he made Angel... have sex with her every day we were there. It was the most horrible thing to go through, he lied to us and said that if Angel did what he was told he wouldn't hurt me, but thanks to him I have permanent stomach damage." she said then paused again to clear her throat a bit. "We lost a few good and caring ally on our escape, I believe there's still a memorial at the solder camp as well, and Titania ended up getting pregnant and wanted to stay with us here, it made all of us feel better knowing that she would always be cared for and safe. So there ya have it, that's what happened." she said softly though had her hands under the table the whole time she was speaking clenching them and such at some points, it was a hard memory to face but it didn't bother her as much as it used to.... it used to be if someone even mentioned it she would start crying because of how painful the memory was... now she just got a sort of empty feeling inside while talking about it.

Cali gasped. "I had no idea that that man made him do something so hurtful. Angel must have been dying to tear that guys throat out." he said. "He's a good guy, I can see that even if i weren't here and feeling how I do about Koinu I would never ever do something so vile and evil." He couldn't even imagine. "Yeah, I did want to, but we got out." Angel said over hearing the last part of the story knowing what story she told, made him claw a hand everytime, though he was used to people asking and actually made all his men come together so all of them could hear it after it was told once. Cali looked down. "Oh...ummm...I'm sorry.." he said. "It's fine, though if you know what had just happened shortly before that like the night before you'd understand and know how much guilt I felt." he said walking over and wrapping his arms around Kitsune. "Don't ask though, I really don't like telling people about that mistake I made." Cali nodded not asking. He held onto one of Koinu's hands and smiled knowing he'd never do anything to hurt her.

"It was awful... but I do believe that Angel killed that man... unless someone decided to heal him....." Kitsune said softly then held onto Angel's arms and looked up at him softly as he spoke. She could remember what he was talking about... but she had forgiven him for that. "Angel... I forgave you for that... so don't fret over it okay?" Kitsune said softly before standing and hugging him a bit then looked at Koinu and Cali. "So are you two ready to go?" she asked softly knowing they should probably be heading out soon.

Cali nodded, he was ready to go. "Yeah I know you did." Angel said smiling. "I think your right.

(ooh! I have an idea X3 what if the guy really didn't die and came after them again?)

Kitsune nodded a bit then smiled and walked with Angel outside to their ride to the base knowing the other two would fallow.

(should we say that they have cars now? It has been like 20 years since we started this XD )

Cali followed bring Koinu with him, having her hand in his. Angel smiled seeing the two walking like that, seeing his daughter happy was a great sight.

(meh just an idea, they don't have to have cars really... they have electricity I would say... idk whichever I don't care XP )

Kitsune smiled at Angel. "Kinda reminds you of us when we were younger doesn't it? Like when we first came to this town." she smiled a bit staying close to Angel and leaning on him a bit lovingly.
