If anyone is interested in this RP idea can you please let me know? I am wanting to get at least 5 or 6 people to begin with, but more are welcome at any time. If there is enough interest I will create a thread to start the RP.

I am looking for serious role players who won't quit after the first couple of weeks and who will post at least a paragraph or two at a time. I would like to keep this going and see where it goes.

Story:

Death comes knocking on your door. He is tall, robed in black, and carries a scythe. He invites himself in and asks you to sit with him. Death has a favor to ask.

"I will grant you one skill. Anything you want. It can be the ability to fly, control fire, bake the perfect muffins, anything. In return you will work for me for 100 years of service. Vacation time is included in the package… I won't work you to death." He laughs at his own joke.

You agree to his deal for reasons of your own. Death smiles a wicked grin and swings his great scythe at you. The last thing you remember before the world turns black is the feel of cold steal slicing through your body.

When you wake up you are in a lavishly decorated room with several other disheveled people who are also just waking up. Death has visited all of you and offered the same deal.

You are surprised to find yourself unwounded and in no pain from the attack.

"I forgot to mention that the deal was only good once you were all dead. However it is too late to turn back now! Our deal has been bound with blood and there is no breaking it." Death says cheerfully. "Feel free to explore the mansion. There is a kitchen and armory are on the main floor. The second floor is mainly bedrooms. I would suggest you equip yourselves properly from the armory, eat a meal, and get to know one another. Once everyone is ready return to me and you can begin your first assignment. There is a small town in Nevada called Fernley and all the residents have disappeared, turning it into a ghost town. The people have not died because I would have known about it. I suspect that it might be a powerful warlock or witch that has caused this mischief. Find out for sure and kindly dispose of the problem."

This RP takes place in modern day America. There are witches and magical beings however they either try to stay hidden from humans or try to blend in as human.

Death will give everyone an assignment to complete together. Once it is finished he will have another assignment ready for them. (This way things can stay fresh if the story is getting stale or needs to move forward.) Feel free to make things up as you go along. Create bad guys, good guys, twists, betrayals, make up towns, magic, and anything else that you feel will move the story forward.

If your characters want to romance you are more than welcome to. Straight, yaoi, yuri, whatever you want. If you don't want to do romance that is fine too.

Personality: Not a very open person he prizes his privacy. He is the quite type and only speaks when he has to. He can't stand hearing people complain about little things or children crying or being hurt but selfish cruel people. If any thing will ever set him off is selfish people who only care about themselves. He may be on the darker side of things but he has a or had a big heart and cares for those in need and always offer a hand to those who are lost and fallen as well as his hear to hear their stories.

Syblle has a soft heart though and while nosey and sometimes in your business, she tries to help and likes to see everyone happy. She isn't the sharpest crayon in the box, but she is the prettiest and she has an eye for details.

Personality:A loner, keeps to herself mostly but only because people don't understand her. She loves to take walks in the moonlight and dance in the shadows where she feels free the most. When in a situation where there are other people she tends to watch first and then make a decision on whether to talk with them or not unless someone comes up to her and initiates contact first. Not very sure of herself around the opposite sex, she tends to stammer until she feels comfortable with them. However she is skilled in combat and is lethal when opposed. Mostly hides this skill unless it is necessary to use it.
Lives by herself in a small apartment. Parents died when she was very young and she has been on her own ever since. Practices with swords on a daily basis and keeps herself in great shape. Her parents left her a sizable amount of money when they died but she lives sparingly and doesn't act as though she has money, instead living as the common class does. She is very blunt when made angry but keeps herself under tight control.

Personality: Somewhat headstrong, Wyvern is a girl who always speaks her mind, and isn't afraid to use unpleasant methods to get things done. While most would think that someone with this personality would rush head first into things, Wyvern actually prefers to think every minute detail through before taking any action. Most of the time, Wyvern stays quiet and lets others do the talking, but refuses to have people make decisions for her. This trait came about because of her parents, who were always trying to control her life. If someone asks her anything but a direct question, she often replies in a vague, riddle-esk manner.
