Dedicated Gamer Since 7th Grade (Always Looking)
I've been Role Playing since the 7th grade. And I don't just mean "he walked slowly through the forest with his father's sword on his back" forum RPing. I mean the real stuff. I started on 2nd AD&D and half way through the school year we switched to 3rd D&D when it came out. Good times, almost.
now I do the forums on occasion however I don't do group forum anymore. It would take a hell of a lot to get me to do so. I do table top. That is, Exalted, Pathfinder, OWoD, those kinds. I do however do One on One RPs. Now I'm not going to role play with anyone still in high school, i'm much too old to deal with children. Young whipper snappers don't even know who the loony toons are... thank God CN still shows Tom & Jerry. Any way, even though I only RP with people past high school, preferably 20 and older, that doesn't mean I'm not going to keep it Pg-13, or PG-16.
So I only do One on One RPs, with people around my age. (I'm 22.)
Now what do I RP? almost anything. I'm always up for a good Sci-Fi although I haven't done much Medieval in a while. I think drow are really sexy so that's a good way to draw my interest, medieval or Sci-Fi, I really love elves, a lot. it's the ears.
I'm relatively literate, I don't post pages but a few meaty paragraphs to get my point across. Again, I'm a tabletop RPer so I'm not used to drawing out vivid scenes, unless I'm the DM. All I ask is for proper grammar, but hey, we don't all have spell check. and a good length of post. like 10 lines of words once it's posted, that's a good short post.
Well, that's pretty much all I can think of, if you got questions just ask. I won't kill you, too much.
The howl of a young dragon in pain could be heard in the sky as from out of nowhere, a dragon came flying over the traveling friends. It was dripping blood, and flying upside down as a small figure holding a sword and shield slashes at it's face. The red dragon, cursed at it's foul luck, and breathed fire breath right at the young man. The man quickly raised his shield, and deflected the attack. He then rushed forward, sword straight ahead, and rammed his blade into the mouth of the dragon. It went through the roof of the dragon's mouth, and pierced it's brain, killing it. The dragon bean to hurtle towards the ground, and the young man lept from the dragon, landing safely on the ground. He had a smirk on his face as he watched the dragon smash into the ground, no more then 20ft ahead of the traveling party. The familiar sparkle of mischief in his emerald green eyes shown brightly, and he let out a victorious laugh, his jet black hair flowing in the wind.
The man wore a shiny red scale mail, the hide of a red dragon he had slain in his youth. Underneath was a pair of (loose) black leather pants. His fist and feet were covered with a matching pair of gloves and boots. The gloves had a smooth red jewel on the backside of the hands. The boots have a small wing design at the heels. An old but clean mace clanked in the wind at his left side and a strange holy symbol clanked at his right side. A sword, much longer then him hung on his back. The blade was 6ft long and 1ft wide, with the hilt and handle being about 2ft. He himself stood only 5'10", which was still rather tall for a half-elf.
He was a dragon slayer, but by the holy symbol and mace, he was obviously a cleric as well.
There's a 3-4 year old intro I used once. I rather liked it so I wanted to post it up for an example
