Princess Rose storming sighs out as her father King Thorn tolled. his only daughter she would be married off to the prince of the elf race. "You too will be married in 2weeks time to each other. Prince Naill is going to find out about this today form his father or mother." King Thorn says to Rose how was shock she was getting married. to a elf prince she never had been around elf's before how would there marriage work out?

Prince Naill looked at his mother in shock. "What do you mean I'm to be married to a Fairy." He spat the word out with disgust. "This is absurd." He stood defiantly, his eyes blazing. "What good can come of this? I don't even know her!" His mother looked at him regally. "It is the only way to end this draining war. You will bring her back here to be wed as is custom." She cut off his retort with a gesture. "You know you must. It is your duty."

Glaring at her, he knew it was futile. It was his duty as the heir to the throne to bring about peace in any way possible. "Aye, I suppose I must. When do I go to claim my bride." His tone was bitter yet resigned.

"When dose he come here to get me Father? I'm worried but I'll do it to help out are kingdom to have peace." Princess Rose says before walking off go to her bed room to spend some time a lone.


"He'll come for you in 1week so you 2 can get to. know each other 1week before the wedding day." King Thorn says to his daughter to bad none of his son's was old. enough to try court a princess form a other kingdom they was still to young to do so.

Rose walk's till climbing up the strait case once she got out the thorn room. passing by few door ways before going to the 4th floor. her room was a old attic but she was use to the old room at had wonderful view. of the hole kingdom of fairy's even one could see the kingdom of elf's only the enter.

"You leave in a week, so that you may get to know each other." His mothers words rang in his head as he rode towards the fairy kingdom. A week had passed far too quickly and he was almost at the castle of the princess he would soon marry. He had 3 warriors with him as his royal escort. "This is too soon," he mumbled under his breath. I hope she's not hideous. I don't think I could stand to bed someone with no attaction at all.

They rode up and stopped at the bridge. "Prince Naill of Lestra approaches," his guards called out. They waited for admittance from the guards.

"Welcome to the Kingdom Flight you may enter please enjoy your stay." the guards says to Prince Naill guards opening up the gate to kingdom of Flight for them. the kingdom was pretty big for fairy's but a few other races live in this kingdom as well.


One week past by way to quickly for Princess Rose how now sits in the thorn room. "Today is the day I meet the Prince Naill of the elf race." she says to her self as some maids place her crown on her head. as they brought a drink's out even snack. once the prince would come they would move outside to the garden to talk in.

As they passed along the drawbridge, he couldn't help but be impressed with the look of the castle. It had high turrents and looked graceful yet forbidding with the promise of holding out from any attack. Stable boys ran up to the horses as Naill slid off. He handed the reins off to one of them, bidding them to care for his horse well.

A page was waiting for them in the courtyard. "This way highness." They followed after the boy as he led them into the great hall where the throne sat. He shifted his weight slightly as he walked in. Looking to the throne, he caught his first glimpse of his future bride. His breath caught in his throat as he looked her over. She was...stunning. Carefully masking his reaction he approached the princess and gave a small bow. "Princess, it is my pleasure to meet you. I am Prince Naill of Lestra." He straightened and looked at her.

Princess Rose stands up then walks over to him with a smile on her face.It is nice to meet you as well Prince Naill I'm Princess Rose of the Flight kingdom." Rose says to him in a kind,yet happy voice, she was shock by how. handsome,hot en cool he look like in front of her but blush any way. for a young woman in her late teens she was not good at hiding. how shy are when a blush came on to her face so easily.

Naill smiled back at her and took her hand and raised it to his lips to gently kiss it. "The pleasure is all mine my lady." He kept his eyes on her as she blushed. He offered his arm to her. "Shall we perhaps go somewhere a bit more comfortable?" He kept his eyes on her as he waited for her to lead the way.

She was very beautiful. A man would have to be blind not to acknowledge that. Perhaps this marriage will not be the burden I thought at first. He knew he was attractive to most woman and it pleased him that she showed that she was affected by his presence.

"Would you like go outside in to my personal garden? or maybe to my private office? it quit comfy in there yet it's your choice." she says to Prince Naill in a clam voice she like to give. others a choice when came to picking out a place they think would be comfy. thinking that will not be so bad after all being married to elf yet. she would have get use to wearing elf clothing hopefully. they would be able to make a opening for her wing's in the back area.

"Perhaps we could go to the garden? Fresh air would be nice." He spoke softly, letting his eyes linger on her face. She was very beautiful, if a bit young. Of course he wasn't that young himself, but perhaps elves and fairies measured age differently. Perhaps this wouldn't be a bad match after all.

For all he didn't wish to be married, he knew he had little choice in the matter if it was to bring peace to both their realms. "Your wings are quite lovely, milady. Can you actually fly with them?" He was very casual in his tone, but his mind was racing. For all he knew, she could fly away at any given moment, leaving him alone and without a bride.

Princess Rose walks with Prince Naill yet was happy he wanted to go outside. "Yes I can fly with these wings of mine pretty well. yet I'm only allowed to use them around the castle or the kingdom. thank you for the compliment my mother en fathers wing colors. help make mine look this way with so many colors in them." Princess Rose says to him her voice was soft yet shy as she use her wings to fly off the ground a bit.

If her father saw her trying to fly away form this argent marriage. she'd would be in so much trouble and the war would never end. she also did not wish to be married off like this. but had not choice in the matter in order to help bring peace to both of there races. wondering how old elf's were in age or if they were even close in age at all. for Rose she was 107 in years old right now. but her body age was around 17 since her body aged slowly.

He smiled as she demonstrated her ability to fly. "That's too bad your not allowed to use them more freely. Since we are to be married in such a short time perhaps you could tell me a bit about yourself? You look very young, around perhaps 18 or 19 but I myself am 167 although I look much younger." He blinked slowly from the sudden sunlight as they entered the vast garden. Trees and beautiful flowers dominated the place and if one didn't look closely they would miss the benches that looked like a part of the garden.

"Princess, this place is marvelous!" He was greatly impressed with the layout of the garden. It seemed an oasis from the brutality of war. "Do you spend much time here?" He wandered around for a bit, looking over the spectacular place. Slowly finding a suitable place to sit he held out his hand for her as he motioned for her to sit. "Milady?"

"Wow your way older then me then I'm only 107 in years old. my body ages slowly I feel like. I'm way to young for you now darn I feel a bit embarrass now." Rose says in a embarrass,shy yet quit voice to man she was going. to be married off to in only a weeks time. walking over laughing softly at how he like the garden so much.


"I spend a lot of time out here in deed and I sometimes. bring a book with me to read when getting some free time. form my royal duty's as a princess I'm happy to see you like this garden." then takes his hand that was out to her sit down next to the handsome prince. blushing a bit if she was ever give him some heirs. no matter how much time would past by the both of them. she would all ways be younger them him but hope. if they ever fall in love with each other that would not be to big of a problem.

Naill's eyes widened in astonishment. "Milady, you shouldn't be embarrassed. Perhaps it is not so much of an age difference as you think. I may have more experience than you, but that does not mean you are not my equal. We elves do not put so much in age as we do the way one conducts ones self."

Her hand was very soft in his callused one. "I hope you do not find my hands too rough for your liking. I train everyday with a sword and it has not made them...soft by any means." He ran his fingers slowly over the top of her hand, keeping his eyes on her own as he watched her reactions to him.

Rose eye's soften a bit after he talk to her about she should be embarrassed. "You don't have call Milady all the time you know. you can call me by my name if you want to." Princess Rose says to Prince Naill in a happy tone of voice feeling his hand on hers. his touch was soft to her own hand that he was touching right now.


"Your hands are not to rough to my touch. they feel soft to thine self's hands. but I'm sure your training helps you become stronger with each day. to me your hands are only slightly rough because you care about your kingdom." Princess Rose says wanting get know him a bit more before. the big day they would become husband and wife to bring peace to there races. as well for both of the kingdoms would not fight with each other any more.

He smiled at her as she talked about how he cared for his kingdom. "This is true, I do care very much for my kingdom as I am sure you care for yours as well. Hopefully our marriage will bring peace at last M-Rose." He felt his spirits lift as he thought of the resulting peace this marriage would bring.

"Have you ever been outside the kingdom?" He slid just a bit closer to her as he spoke.

"Naill I pray that are marriage will bring peace. I too care about my own kingdom a lot. so much that I'm willing going to be married off to you even if we both don't like the idea of it." she says to him wile smiling back at him the hole time. hugging his hand lightly with her own hand softly.

"Rarely only a couple of times to other kingdoms before. ever since the wore broke out I am,only allowed go to other kingdoms that have a alliance with are own kingdom. I wish the war would just stop so many people were killed in it." Rose say holding back tears that dare to run down her face. for a fairy she had a soft heart for her people but truly dislike the war.

Naill softly brought his hand up to her face, gently wiping away a tear that had escaped from her beautiful eyes. "Don't cry Rose. Soon we will be married and this travesty can come to an end. I hope you will not find me a trying husband. I will try my best to make the best of it for you." He smiled at her again, thinking in the back of his mind that it would not be a hardship at all to bed this fairy. He was sure she knew what was expected of her but did not want her to fear him. He felt his loins tighten at the thought but did nothing to show what he was feeling. That was best left for their wedding night.

Rose moved her head up word to look Naill in the eye's feeling. his hand wipe away a tear that had escape form one of her eyes. "I'm sorry I have been emotional about this war. I lost some family to the war I'd can't help but cry when I think about them." Princess Rose says to her soon to be husband softly trying her best. not to let any more tears pass by her eyes no more just trying to stop them.

"Thank you for saying that and I know what is expected of my self. once were fully married to each other but I hope. that maybe we can fall in love with each other." Rose says in a really soft voice not sure what he would say. to what she had just said to Naill.

Naill was taken aback for a moment as she spoke of love. "Love? Perhaps we will beautiful princess." He smiled again at her. Love was not spoken of lightly where he came from but he knew she must be feeling scared and a little aprehensive. "Don't worry, I will be gentle with you."

He felt his stomach rumble slightly. Laughing softly, "Princess, may I suggest we dine together? It was a long journey and I find myself famished." He stood up and held his hand out to her.

"Sure let's go get something to eat then is there. anything that you specially like to eat at all? or maybe a favorite type of dish that you mighty want?" she ask Prince Naill putting her hand in to his own open hand. then gets up form the seat so they could go back inside. the castle to go get something to eat understanding the long trips. all ways make one quite hungry after a long time with out eatting.

"Oh I'm up for anything. I do like boar but those are so hard to come by since they tend to be very dangerous to hunt. I'm sure I will like anything you have. It's always good to try new things." He offered her his arm as they walked back into the castle.

"My Lord! My Lord!" Naill looked over to his right where he saw one of his guards running up. "Sire, the king requests your presence in the great hall"

Naill looked to Rose, "If you'll forgive me lady, it seems as if I have been summoned. If you will excuse me, I will join you in the dining room shortly." He smiled at her and lifted her hand once more as he kissed it softly. He quickly made his way to the great hall, where the king awaited him. No doubt he wanted a word about his daughter.

Rose prayed her father would not be rude to Prince Naill at all. if he had been spying on them then he probably notice her crying. she walks off after he had left her go talk with her father. walking in the dining room then sits down in a chair asking a servant. to ask the cook if he had cook any thing a head of time.

King Thorn sighs out he all ways had guards watching over his daughter. with out Rose knowing he wanted talk with Prince Naill. to make sure he understood that his daughter was strong in many ways. yet hearing about her mothers,only brothers and a good frineds death. it all ways made her cry when them days came by she would make time to. go visit there graves laying flowers on them moving away form her. birth would be really hard on his daughters heart in deed.
