Haha...I have regular debates over what things are totally messed up with the KH games as well as draw the characters pretty much non-stop, write fics about them, and I always carry Days and BBS with me in my backpack XD

Anyways, yes, Nobodies can recover hearts. xD

How does this work?

Again, Heart = Memories + Personality + Beliefs/Hopes/Dreams.

Basically once the Nobody makes new memories (or in certain characters cases, steal them), comes to terms with their personality and reestablish their Beliefs/Hopes/Dreams they are well on their way to recovery.

New Memories are not the same as remembering old ones. In reality with the heart shattering, the Bonds/Connections part of their heart Memories + Beliefs/Hopes/Dreams have been more or less wiped clean. Remember I believe that emotions formed from the same Bonds/Connections, so old memories = like reading a book of someone else's life. Nobodies are technically full grown babies who don't have the emotional/parental support that most of have when we really are babies.

This is why Roxas actually gained a personality after a week because he started recreating new memories with Axel which leads to stablizing his heart (regardless of the fact that Roxas is a special case that I have another theory for).

As for Personality and Beliefs well dying tends to change your outlook on things.

This also leads to the fact that I believe that people become nobodies ALL the time. Just on a smaller scale. Basically Emotional/Mental Trauma = damage to the heart = people becomes partial nobodies. Things like Heartbreak, sudden traumatic lose of family member in like a car accident are all things that change people. No one comes out of that same. This means they're taking a beating on the Personality and Beliefs side of things. Once they gain newer happier memories, they are in most cases more stable people. In theory of course.

xD haha. Yeah in a general nutshell, Nobodies can recover their hearts. Nobodies actually are just somebodies who went through some very traumatic experiences (Heartless are probably more brutal then any real emotional/mental trauma).

But whether or not this actually make sense in canon (since this is all for my personal canon world), I'm not 100% sure.

Whether it does or not, it's still REALLY interesting. (And sometimes the canon contradicts itself, soo XD)

The only theories (that actually have like long thought out processes) that we haven't touched of mines are Roxas/Sora/Ven Theory (which isn't all that new and the same most people) and a few smaller minor ones.
