Which one should I get?
Ok, so I;m torn between two consoles!!!
Part of me wants the psp, because I get to bring it with me anywhere I want and play with it whenever... But...another part of me wants the nintendo wii...because I find it cool that you get to move with the game...and also because I want to play the game Harvest moon animal parade!! Which leaves me undecided....Well, I'd like to hear your opinions...which one should I get? |
*warning, sightly biased Nintendo nerd*
Personally I think you should get a wii. I don't know much about the psp, but the Wii is really really fun. Especially if you get games with the Wii Motion Plus like Wii Resort and the new Zelda game (when it comes out...) because it follows your every motion presicly, which I personally find cool XD Not only that, but on the Wii you can buy and play classic games (from the NES to the N64) and play them. You can also play Gamecube games on them. I don't know ANYTHING about the psp, but wii's are pretty cool :D (btw I LOVE your signature XD) |
I heard PSP games are kinda expensive and I don't really like most hand held stuff. I'm more of a fan of Wii because it has some pretty cool games and the gaming style is REALLY fun. :D
|
I say... Go with the one that has the most games you'll enjoy. No point in buying a shiny new game system that you'll hardly ever use because they only have one decent game, y'know?
|
The wii is pretty cool.
I mean, portable console has it's upsides, but the wii is just awesome ^.^ |
Out of those, I just have the Wii. I'd totally recommend it, as long as it has the games you like. |
Well...psp games are expensive. I'd say go with the wii cause you can download games on there, add friends that have the wii too, go on the internet, and some other stuff >.<
|
I have both systems, and to be honest, between the two, I say PSP. But I'm really hand-held oriented. But there are lots of cool games for PSP. ^^ All the ones I have I dearly love~
But then again, the Wii has a LOT of features. If you want to be entertained by a console that has a never-ending amount of things to do in it, then you should probably get the Wii. There are some really fun games for the Wii as well. It can also play gamecube games. ^^ |
I have both of these, but I would highly suggest a PSP. You can't play the Wii for very long since it is extremely straining on your body after a while. But there are a lot more games for the Wii, though to tell the truth, many of them are copies (Carnival Games and all the spinoffs, to say). There are some very good games on it, like Okami, though. So it is personal opinion.
I would get a PSP because even though the game library is smaller and more expensive, the games are of much higher quality since it is harder to get games published on it and they are FAR longer. Persona 3 Portable is possibly the best game for the PSP and it is over 70 hours long. The average Wii game is 10. Again, it is preference. If you want something really fun and short, Wii. If you want something really fun but longer and of higher quality, get a PSP. If you get a PSP, I highly suggest getting a 3000 instead of a GO since the GO does not have disk compatibly and you have to download all games into it or a memory stick. You can also download the same games onto a 3000, at a slightly lower price than new in stores. |

2nd: The Wii It's What I Use It Is Really Cool And You Get The Internet Channel So It's About The Equal! |
Get the Kinect if you want to move while you are playing. The psp, well, just wait til psp 2 comes out.
|
Thanks Guys for giving your opinions, I finally decided to get a psp instead, though I am partly regretting that choice....hehehe, but then again I will get a wii, not today, but someday when I have saved enough money to buy one.
|
I'd go with the handheld, but I have a weak spot for handhelds above all else.
|
I don't think you'll regret owning PSP, as it's a handy tool for not only gamin but also music, videos and internet (event though browsing the net in PSP is really uncomfortable...) I can't really compare as I don't own a Wii, but if you're getting one in future then everything should be okay and you won't regret anything. I don't regret having bought any of the game consoles I own and I hardly use some of them.
