Helpful Sites ❧ BulbapediaImportant Information The Pokemon can speak English (or a language of your choosing). They are wearing collars (even the wild ones) that translate their original voice into something understood by humans. However, if a Pokemon wishes to only converse with Pokemon via their PokeLanguage, they can override the system by actually speaking in their typical language. Meaning, they use barks and yelps rather than thinking and speaking in English. http://i52.tinypic.com/2zq8046.jpg the Wild Houndoom It had been a while since Nitro last paid Kismo Village a visit. Wandering the roads like he owned the place, he stumbled across the Shrine of the Legendaries. Dropping into a bow, the dark Pokemon gave his respects to those that helped carve the very fate of Pokemon in this world. His black slender legs snapped back into place, and he decided to move about. Staying in one place for too long was a dangerous move for a wild Pokemon such as himself. When he saw a trainer walk his way, Nitro let lose a deep growl. "If you know what's good for you, you'll back off, punk." Head thrusting backwards into the air, his toned body rippled with each step he took away from the boy. "Heavens. Did you honestly think that Caterpie would defeat me. Please, I greatly out level your servant." As he turned his back to the male, a strong wind blew into his face. Eye lids closing, Nitro listened to the wind's voice. An eerie tune played a taunting melody. It warned the Pokemon that dark days were ahead. With a frown now on his face, Nitro fled down a path toward the outskirts of the town. He would need to confer with another Pokemon. Praying the wind was wrong, Nitro feared for his life that something terrible was afoot. Something that would... bring an end to his freedom. |

☾ Shadow, The Wild Umbreon ☽ Dark red eyes watched as a small red and white ball slammed down to the ground beside him, bouncing off in some random direction shortly after. Really? Did this child just throw a pokéball at him? Unamused and annoyed eyes darted coldly, resentfully, darkly back to the small female trainer that had thrown the object his way, a full-grown Radicate standing nearby, ready for battle. "You wish to capture me?" He stated in a hypothetical manner. "Yes... I suppose a wild Umbreon would be a rare catch..." Very well. If this child wanted a battle, a battle she would have. * * * Really, the girl didn't stand much of a chance. A confuse ray combined with a shadow ball seemed to do the trick quite nicely. After her third pokémon, he had gotten bored though, and took off, escaping before she could throw more useless junk at him. Despite how annoying she had been, she seemed like a generally nice girl. A happy one at least. Happy... He had been happy once with his original trainer. That's why he had evolved. But like everything, happiness ends as well. Humans couldn't be trusted. And especially not relied upon. He looked up to the sky. The world was in peril. He could feel it, ever since the legendaries had disappeared. He wasn't sure what was happening exactly, but somehow, it seemed like he still had to try and do something, even if he hadn't a clue of what that was. Perhaps he should investigate further... It was only then, as if on cue, that something caught his eye in the distance, Shadow having found himself in a nearby tree in the small village of Kismo, it being a nice place to relax, away from people. The thing he had spotted seemed to be a wild Houndoom, running about the village. "Another one." Shadow said to himself, watching the sight as the other began to come closer. "It's been a while..." As the Houndoom grew closer, Shadow timed it just right, jumping from the tree to land before him. "Excuse me." He started, a bit unsure to start conversation with such a creature so directly, though also hoping to have caught its attention. "You are... without trainer, yes?" |
Boss, the wild Zuruzukin http://i52.tinypic.com/voacs3.png A flame colored figured walked along the dirt road cursing to himself over pety things that made him leave Akito. "Dumb f*cks... I can't believe they let that p*ssy take over as leader..F*ck you guys..." His cursing were rather loud and almost seemed to echo through the village he was heading to. While his cursing seemed pretty intimidating to other pokemon it just sounded like hollow chirps and hissing to humans. A couple of humans stared at him and trainers just didn't dare to battle or catch him due to his warnings and frequent hissing habits. He made his way into town through the unpopulated streets of Kismo, staring at the ground yet twitching back and forth with glares at the people who passed by questioning why a Zururukin was in a peaceful village without any of the rest of his gang. The lizard really didn't notice any pokemon which he was fairly happy about yet unhappy about at the same time. His thoughts wer interupted though when he noticed a Umbreon and a Houndoom in the distance. "Weird, why the hell would they be here?" questioning why two rare and seeming to be wild pokemon were in a village of no real significance. He slithered towards the two in an awkward but intimidating way. |
Coming from above without a sound, Nitro dropped to his rear. Head cocked, he looked at the small Umbreon that dared stand before him. However, Nitro admired his bold manner, and decided he would behave in a somewhat civilized manner. It was when the Umbreon mentioned a trainer, that the Houndoom relaxed some.
"Yes. I'm without a master. Thank goodness. I couldn't stand the life of a pet. However, I do pay dues to my dear human friend. She raised me and helped train me. I'm indebted to her." Blinking a few times, Nitro shifted forward to sniff the little black Pokemon. "You're not from this area, are you? You seem to have a foreign scent on you. Where do you hail from?" His devilish tail swung back and forth some. Just as he was about to disclose the nature of his homeland, the dark Pokemon caught a whiff of a nearby Pokemon. The sickening sweet scent of embers plagued his nostrils. A Charmeleon? The odds of that being true were slim to nothing. Perhaps this fiery Pokemon was not of the flame, but of a fighting spirit. Pivoting, the Houndoom looked up the path some. "My little friend, I foresee some unexpected company. From the smell of it, it appears to be... dark?" Looking at the dark Pokemon before him, Nitro knew something must be wrong. Why else would dark Pokemon cross paths. Something devious was afoot. Who better to discover the truth than those with wicked hearts. |
Coming into view of the two dark pokemon boss walked toward them until he was face to face with them. He closely examined the two while making a chewing face, chewing invisible gum which he wished he had at the time. There was plenty of gum in Akito since humans were stupid enough to throw whole packages out but in the country gum was hard to find.
Without real gum Boss got stressed and angry easily which explained why he wasnt' too happy about meeting two dark types. "Why the hell are you guys ere'?" He questioned impolitely and folded his arms as if he was defending his territory. 'As if I had a home in the first place..' He mumbled in his head. (( OOC: Sorry about the short post! D: )) |
~*Hibana, The Wild {Not Quite Shiny} Pokemon~* Hibana was running... Running very quickly across the field. Almost in panic rather than joy as her motions were in zigzag form. All day, every day if she wasn't hidden from sight she'd have trainers' Pokemon attack her then be attacked again by colourful balls being through. All this just because of her appearance. She wasn't a shiny! Just different coloured. Ever since she was released into the wild, things like these had been happening. It wasn't by choice though. A while back an egg was traveling the sea. No one knew where it came from or whose it was as it floated on the water passing by boats. A local professor found it washed up on the shore one day on the island she was living on and brought it back to her building to warm it up so it could hatch. The egg almost didn't make it. Any later and it would have been too late. The egg however did hatch okay. At first the professor was surprised at her, having slightly different colours, but she remembered the tale of the surfing Pikachu and figured the Pichu might either be related or descended from it. One day however, just after evolving into a Pikachu, keeping her colours, the professor fell ill and could no longer take care of her. She didn't want to let Hibana, who she'd named herself, go free into the wild. Being with a trainer she thought would be okay, but there weren't any new trainers. So there was no other choice. After while of running, Hibana noticed a group of wild Pokemon coming closer with each step she took. She was going so fast, using Quick Attack she wouldn't have enough time to stop! |
"I thought as much..." Shadow replied contently, more to himself as the Houndoom confirmed that he was a wild pokémon, like him. That was good. However, with his mentioning of being 'friends' with a human, Shadow retreated somewhat, a skeptical look coming over him. Friends? Indebted to a human? Was this pokémon for real? He seemed level-headed enough and didn't attack him on sight, but still... you never know.
His attention snapped back to reality when the Houndoom then asked where he was from, it being obvious he wasn't from around there. "Yes... I'm sorry for the rude introduction... My name is Shadow, and I come from the Great Starklynn area." With then the mentioning of a third party, Shadow turned his head, sniffing the air lightly. "Dark, most definitely." He agreed. How odd... three dark types all in the same area. "Do you suppose we can trust he won't attack? He doesn't seem too civil..." That was the thing with wild pokémon. Some were civil... other's not so much. But, to Shadow, civil or not, they were a thousand times better than any human-slave pet. Just then, out of nowhere, something charged at them in the distance. "What the?" Shadow let out before quickly jumping to the side, allowing a small Pikachu with blue eyes to fly by them and crash into a nearby bush. "What... was that?" He let out, eyes wide. Did something actually just try to attack them? |
By this time there were swirls in Hibana's eyes after crashing into a bush. Luckily there was no tree behind it, but at least no one was chasing her anymore. No more colourful round objects hitting her in the head missing the button each time. No more painful attacks that always seem critical.
Even though she was dizzy by this time, she wondered if she'd crashed into anyone on her way there and would apologize later if she had. She stood up and fell back down again after losing her balance. A few terrified sparks were shooting out of her cheeks as well from being almost exhausted from all the running she did. Maybe in a few minutes she'd regain herself enough to walk and talk and do all that stuff. Not to mention wonder where she ended up. Or even from where she started from. It was a long day and it wasn't even that late to begin with. Maybe now the attacks would simmer down after she found a good hiding place later. |
Palioxis liked the memorial. People and Pokémon from all around made pilgrimages here, those with kind hearts and caring natures. She was always so deliriously, foolishly happy when she came here, floating up amidst the clouds on swirling eddies of warm air driven up from the ground. Being here soothed the fear in her heart, fear that had been growing ever larger since the day she felt the absence of the Legendaries. Far, far below there was a group of wild Pokémon assembled, all apparently engaged in conversation. Now there was a spectacle she hadn’t seen in a long time! It was beneficial to travel alone these days if you were trying to avoid capture—which it seemed everyone was. Palioxis didn’t understand this aversion to humans that so many of her kind felt. Once upon a time she had herself been partners with a human, a pleasant and warm-hearted Pokémon breeder who had hatched her egg himself when she was left at the breeding centre by a trainer. The human had died, though, a long time ago. Thinking about him bought up painful memories, though, so she drove the darkness to the back of her mind and drifted down slowly, slowly, slowly towards the small group of wild Pokémon. “What’s all this?” she wondered aloud. |
The Houndoom smirked at the Umbreon seemed to give him a once over. "You've nothing to fear. I might be dark, but I'm not an ass." His tail swayed back and forth, but stiffened with a yellow ball flew past them. "Holy hell! What was that?"
Standing, the Pokemon cocked his head and looked down the way to see a Pikachu collide with a bush. "Serves that speed demon right. He almost toppled us. And we can't lose our cool. Ha." His degrading red eyes turned toward the Zuruzukin who seemed to be cramping his suave style. "The name's Nitro," he said mainly to the Umbreon. "And like yourself, I'm not from here. I'm from Rhesilvan." His toned body rippled as the black beast stretched his tired paws. "I've traveled all about. I come here to pay respects to the great Pokemon and, every now and again, I like to make a scene. You know, cause some ruckus and get some newbie trainer's hopes up. Ah, torture. I do love it." Scanning the Zuruzukin, Nitro shrugged. "Eh, if he attacks, we can take him. But I don't foresee him charging blindly into battle against us. After all, we know that one against two just won't win." His nose was high in the air as he boasted about the odds of winning, but that haughty demeanor vanished when the Houndoom's nose picked up a foreign scent. "Ugh. Another one? Today is not my day. So much for a peaceful vacation. Instead I have to deal with Pokemon. No offense to you, Shadow. I do quiet like your style." |
Palioxis landed softly in the grass, next to the bush that Hibana had crashed into. She didn’t walk very much, preferring to fly (the muscles in her wings were far stronger than those in her legs) and so she tottered a little as she walked up to the dizzy Pikachu.
“Are you okay?” she asked, feeling a little amused but not wanting to laugh in case the Pikachu was actually hurt. She used Safeguard as she approached, knowing that she could stand a few shocks from the befuddled Pokemon but not wanting to risk paralysis; the distance she maintained was just as much for her own safety as it was to keep Habana calm. |
Hibana was still trying to stand to walk the confusion off, but shook her head cutely instead, making a few sparks fly in a few directions. That worked well. She could see again. Blurry images, but it was better than nothing. "Yeah." She stood on all fours then looked around for any more threats, ready to shock anything. Usually she didn't get angry or defensive of herself, but this time it was needed. Seemed safe now and she stood upward, blue eyes sparkling with slight fear and sparks gone to reveal pink cheeks. "That was annoying, and tiring." She returned to her all fours position and slumped downwards on her stomach, not hurt or anything as she continued to look up at the one who spoke. "Thanks for your concern, but I'm okay. Just a bit drained..."

Aria Wild Dragonair The warm breze was still an interesting sensation across the dragonair's scales. She shivered with delight at the sensation. Her big red eyes looked around the trees. Land was so strange. The plants stayed stable and didn't move about on the whims of the air like the plants of the sea did with water. She moved her long body, muscles alternating to transport her across the land. She was on her way to visit the shrine. She hadn't been to the shrine since she had been owned as a small dratini. Her owner abandoned her shortly after and she had lived alone at sea ever since. AS she moved, she lifted her head up, the sun glinting off the blue orb hanging on her throat. Her nose picked up the sent of other pokemon. She looked around. It had been so long since she spoke to another being. Choosing to live a solitary life, Aria had always blamed herself for why her master had abandoned her. "I wonder what other pokemon are like nowadays." her light and fluid voice sounded from her lungs as she cautiously ventured closer to the smell. |
Shadow nodded with Nitro's introduction of himself. It was good to have a name and location of where he was originally from. Indeed, Shadow already rather liked this pokémon, despite him seeming the more unpredictable type at first. In fact, he was almost compelled to let his guard down a bit around him, and perhaps he did, especially when more pressing threats were about, such as the wild Pikachu and Zuruzukin about.
"I do not take offense." He said simply in reply, turning to sniff the air as Nitro did for another scent. What he said was true, and not just in regards to Nitro's comment, but to everything as a whole. It was pretty much impossible for Shadow to have 'hurt feelings', or for anyone to bestow such a thing upon him. But then again, it was pretty much impossible for you to get him to accept a compliment, such as what Nitro had given him, him not beleivening such a thing either. No, shadow was a simple pokémon, and he liked it so. In his mind, if everyone just said what they meant and did what they said, the world would be so much more bearable. Though, no matter how simple he might like to think himself as, Shadow was in fact very much grateful for Nitro's civility: something he rarely came upon. The scent on the other hand appeared to be another pokémon altogether, which was now helping the Pikachu out of the bush. "...What strange pokémon they are." He said, still standing by Nitro. Really. Some pokémon had no self-control these days. Shadow only shook his head in sigh at the sight before turning back to Nitro. "Anyway... the reason I stopped you was to ask you a question. As I mentioned before, I come from the Great Starklynn area. I've ventured out here to find other pokémon like myself, who... well... know something is amiss." He looked back to the Zuruzukin again, just to make sure he wasn't going to attack as he continued. "And so I must ask, since you seem an able-minded pokémon yourself..." He looked back to Nitro directly. "Do you know anything about why all of the legendery pokémon disappeared?" If only he could find an answer to that somewhere... then maybe he'd have a chance of actually helping the world. Of saving it. |
While mostly being ignored by the other two Pokemon, which he didn't mind at all since he didn't want to talk about his "hometown" Boss butt his way in when the Umbreon asked about why the legendaries were missing. "They were probably sick of humans trying to catch em' all the time." he commented seemingly polite for once. "If I was a legendary though I would kick every human's ass and their lil 'team' members.'" He said with a slim smirk.
Though he completely ignored the yellow creature that ran right past them before he seemed rather curious about it now and turned his head towards where he could slightly smell the two different scents. Though it was odd that it was running right past them at a really fast speed Boss was more interested in the two Pokemon in front of him and why the three of them coincidentally met. Still he kept his emotions to himself other than the smirk earlier and just kept chewing his non existent gum and keeping his baggy skin up. |
“Well good,” Palioxis replied when she was certain that the Pikachu wasn’t going to keel over dead. She was silent for a moment, as if assessing whether or not what she was about to do was a good idea, and then headed off towards the other Pokémon that were stood nearby.
“Come on,” she called back to Hibana, “let’s go see what this is all about.” When she was close enough to hear the conversation that the other group were having, she stopped as a show of goodwill, rather than forcing herself into their midst and potentially sparking a disagreement. Dark-types were prone to having ‘disagreements’, from what she had seen of them. “Hello,” she ventured cautiously, looking from one Pokémon to the next. |
