(or 1x1) Fallout/post-apocalyptic RP, anyone?

So, having got bored of Fable 3 and fucking finally finished Assassin’s Creed 2, I’ve got back into playing Fallout: New Vegas, and it’s reminded me of how totally busting I am for a decent Fallout-based roleplay. Now here I am, trying to gauge interest! I know beggars can’t be choosers, but I’m going to be choosey anyway, just because that’s how I roll. 8D I’m a bit of a picky roleplayer, so I only want people who can type worth a shit—people who understand basic English grammar and aren’t going to be throwing bullshit full stops into their sentences just because they vaguely remember being told off for abusing commas in their English classes. I don’t care if you write novellas or short paragraphs, as long as they make sense. Uh, and also, because I don’t know how many people are interested in a group Fallout RP, I’m also looking for 1x1 post-apocalyptic roleplays, which obviously are a bit more open to interpretation. |
Finally! Someone who loves Fallout! I was honestly thinking of making my own Fallout rp, but I chickened out. Anyway, I'd love to either do a group or onexone with you, whichever you prefer. BUT. I don't play female characters. Only male. So if you're cool with that, then that'd just be fantastic. =3

Ahh, excellent! I'm glad at least one other person is interested. xD Seeing as you're up for either a group or a 1x1 I think I'll wait for a bit before arranging anything, just to see if more people are interested. Obviously we can stick to 1x1 if there's not enough interest for a group.
I'm gunna bugger off to work for a bit around now. I'll be back around 1am GMT so if no one's showed any interest by then I think we can start talking 1x1. If people have shown interest, we can all start talking plot. 8D Toodles~! |
Lol, sounds good. You might want to wait a bit longer to see if anyone's interested though. For me, it took about a full week to get my rp filled up with people actually interested.

Oh really? Fair. I'll wait a bit, then. xD I'm always super impatient with my roleplays because some silly part of me expects literate roleplayers to respond to my threads like Batman to the Bat-Signal. xD

I'd prefer for it to be one of those two locations, but I don't have any real preference which. I kind of prefer the Capital Wasteland but I think that's just because I associate it with Liam Neeson. xD New Vegas is probably cooler. Whichever you guys would prefer, really.

I'm probably more familiar with he Capital Wasteland myself, having been ALL over that game. I know New Vages pretty well too, but I haven't been to every nook and cranny of it like I had with post-apocalyptic Washington DC, if you know what I mean. But honestly, either way is good for me too. But, we could always kind of mesh the two games a bit too. Like, set it in the Capital Wasteland but incorporate things like... hardcore mode! :XD And maybe some of the weapons or something too? Meh, just throwing random ideas out there, lol.

We can set it in the Capital Wasteland, sure. 8D I figure Hardcore mode would kind of be implied anyway. But we could always have a few characters who are from New Vegas but maybe moved to the Capital Wasteland for whatever reason?

Ah, good plan. Man, I hope more people want to join soon. Then again, I guess we could always have a group of three roaming the wasteland too. And then more people can show up and join later if they want or something.

Yeah, the group of three idea rather appeals to me too. Plus, like I said, more can join our little pack later if they want. And like you said, if things get desperate, we can always double-up or something. Do you need help setting anything up for the rp?

I'm just designing a profile layout now... it's been a fair amount of time since I've set up a proper roleplay so I'll probably borrow here and there from your thread Wavikz (thanks!) and run some stuff by both of you before we get started properly.

Oh, we should probably decide on a more specific plot... like does one of our characters wanna be the Lone Wanderer, maybe, and the other two his/her companions? Obviously we don't have to adhere entirely to the plot of the game but it'd give us a nice easy starting point.
