I really LOVE Sims, its one of those games that every now and then I'll install and play for a bit then uninstall and play it later in life. I really adore Sims 2, I have Sims 3 but I felt it was too realistic for me and I kinda liked the humorous Sims 2 more. :P

Sims is awesome but I haven't played it in a while cause it got scratched somehow. But I'm getting Sims 3 soon! :3

I'm Dieing to get Sims 3 for Christmas! I am probably going to go to a friend's house and kinda hog her game. Instead of installing Sims 2 onto my computer. which is somehow incompatible. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to patch it though. D8

I LOVE The Sims 2! I'm currently working on "The perfect neighborhood" in which everyone has a fiance(e), a career planned out for them and a simple goal I've always wanted to achieve. It's pretty awesome :D

The only problem is, I downloaded some of my expansions illegally so now my computer has viruses outta da wazoo and errors 3 times before I log in...

I wanted to do that before since I only had nightlife but I kinda decided not to because of the risks. XD Its really sad though that the down-loadable expansions are virus filled, I wish people were more considerate... >.>

There's nothing really wrong with Sims 3 just a lot of people like the humor and layout of Sims 2 I think? But yeah I would get Sims 2 before Sims 3

I actually just bought the newest Sims 3 expansion today. Haven't played it yet but it looks really good.
*Sigh* I still remember my days of playing the original Sims...damn, graphics in those days sucked!

We just ordered Nightlife, Since I got the Sims 3 Deluxe package for Christmas.
My computer seems to not like it though. D8 the computer keeps crashing after the game does.

I play the Sims 2, and have a sick pleasure in making a perfect family, getting them an inch away from achieving their dreams- and then killing them horribly.

I remember this one time I had this really pretty sim who had purple hair, white skin and pink eyes. He had the romance personality and he really looked like a girl so I pretty much made him rape like every male sim that went by. I also hacked the game so he had two kids and one of them ending up having lots of kids. So he's a grandfather. The creepy part is though is that he has the never-aging juice stuff so he still looks the same even though he's a grandfather even though his grandchildren are like teens. It was kinda creepy though when his grandchildren had kids and they began having crushes on him. O.o

I make some pretty ****ed up sims. XD

The Sims 2 is quite possibly my favorite game ever. I've seen the Sims 3 in screenshots and experienced game-play in small bits and i honestly can't stand it. The sims look horribly unrealistic to me, and the lack of ability to truly mesh and recolor to the extent of the Sims 2 just turns me off. Just my opinion, of course.

Are any of you guys on any forums? I frequent the Garden of Shadows, although mostly their IRC chat. What default replacements do you guys use, or do you use leave everything maxis? If you use CC, do you usually go for more Maxis Match or realistic?

I have a set of Pooklet skins as default, although I'm prolly gunna change it to Pyxis's Venice set. Because, I mean, if you look at them they're amazing. My Alien default eyes are ZombieJill I think? I haven't played an alien in forever, at least ones from abduction. My defaults of eyes are Yumedust eyes on Anva's sclera edited by Pooklet. Everything else I have is a mash of stuff from people on GoS, all Genetiziced. I'm not a Maxis Match person. XD

I too love the sims. I have all of them. One of my absolute favorites is the sims castaway. I love the fact that you get to make everything from like vines and twigs. And the sims 3 is awsome. The fishing activity is so awesome. and I think the recipes are way more indefinite. I agree with you that the sims is the best game ever. But I still like the classic sims for the computer. Its so much more involved, beacause you can like make your own store and what not.

I love sims I have the first for my ps2 but it is great through so I like the sims 2 but I got bored sometimes. But I think sims 3 is better I would like to get sims 3 but I think sims is a good game.

I just installed Sims 3 on my new Mac last night. I had to re-download all of the items that I had already downloaded on the PC. It took forever. And when I finally got around to playing it, my characters, even though they were boyfriend and girlfriend, were in such a bad mood that they wouldn't go near each other without insulting each other and being in an even worse mood.

And yet I still played until 4 o'clock in the morning. xD

I have sims2 and I am fine with that I even know the testingcheats boolprop thingy to play around with different options, I like playing as the grim reaper and filling up lots with tombstones and making small houses to scare other sims. lol. I'm odd taht way.

I always have a graveyard full of "active" tombstones when I make a custom neighbourhood XD!
I'll make entire families just to slaughter and place in my graveyard!

Haha me too! I feel kinda bad about it though, I remember this one time I was killing off a bunch of people and my brother was watching me being all disgusted like "Why are you killing them?" XD

Lol, I know...One time my friend and I gathered together just to kill the sims. But I usually only do that with my friend, and when I'm really bored. One time my sim COULDN'T DIE! I tried to Burn him, or make him drown (Wow this sounds creepy), until I finally gave up, and locked him in a corner.
