Hot Chocolate
What is your favorite type of hot chocolate?
I decided to try making several different flavours over the past few days. I would have to say peppermint is ranking up there as one of the best. |
They have flavours for hot chocolate? O.o I have only had the regular kind wher eI like it really thick and chocolatie. So thick that it isn;t sweet anymore but along the lines of bitter. And I love having a cup of hot chocolate at night when I have something on to watch and the air-conditioning is on. And if I am lucky, we have some marshmallows lying around the house. So I'd pop in about 2 or 3 big marshmallows! Yummers!
I just drink normal hot chocolate, I use water as the liquid and just add the hot chocolate powder and some whipped cream and if I have any candy canes I'll add those in too. :P
I have a pumpkin spice one I want to try. I always use whole milk. It just makes it taste better. Water is just too watered down for my liking. I can't eat marshmallows and am working on finding a vegetarian equivalent of it. I've also use flavored coffee syrups/coffee creamers for flavoring such as raspberry, strawberry, peppermint, vanilla, caramel, mochas, hazelnut, spearmint, Irish cream, and cinnamon.
I think I'll give milk a try since so many people have been suggesting it to me, I've just been iffy about it since I don't like warm milk. XD
I like my hot chocolate extremely chocolaty. I usually add an pack and half the amount of water for that pack to any cup, and it makes it very thick and chocolaty. I also love it with mini marshmallows and a candy cane in for a bit of a peppermint flavor and extra sweetness!
It tastes absolutely amazing. |
I'm not too familiar with many flavors of hot chocolate, but I think I've tried a minty flavored one and it was delicious. I'm usually pretty fond of minty things (besides peppermint, oddly enough) so it was a neat treat. But usually it's just either warm milk or water. Pretty plain. xD
Peppermint is pretty good, and we have caramel somewhere around here. But I like just normal plain old chocolate flavoured hot chocolate.
i love flavoured hot chocolates ! and i always drink mine with milk . hmm lets see ive tried caramel , mint , dark chocolate , raspberry , french vanilla and some others i cant remember
I love hot chocolate, so I'm always craving it. [Anything chocolate in general is amazing in my book.] I've only used milk and swiss miss packets. But I've had white hot chocolate before, doesn't taste that great in my opinion.
I really want to try more flavors because keeping to just one flavor for so long can get boring after awhile. Need to expand my horizon! |
i don't like hot chocolate. it just tastes weird to me.
Tried hot chocolate with milk, I dunno I kinda prefer it made with water, it was a bit too creamy too me I guess.
I will stick with the traditional hot chocolate, I think that is what I like best.
Hot chocolate.
I like peppermint hot chocolate too. So good! I like hot chocolate that has marshmallows in it too. I once had gingerbread flavored hot chocolate... I think it was gingerbread. Anyway, it sounded good, but it was kind of weird. I definitely like peppermint more. I usually make hot chocolate with water, but I tried it with milk a few days ago since the milk was about to expire so I needed an excuse to use it. It was alright. I hate warm milk and was afraid I wouldn't like it, but with the chocolate in it isn't that bad. I think I prefer it more with just water though.
I usually only make the regular kind, but I put cool whip on top with a peep and a chocolate cookie on top. :] I like it to be pretty... Ovaltine makes some good hot cocoa.
I make normal hot chocolate, add marshmallows, a candy candy, a piece of peppermint bark, and whipped cream. It's yummy <3
"Dark Chocolate Raspberry."
but I basically cream over anything dark chocolate, or raspberry, so it's not that surprising. I also like "white chocolate mocha." I forget what company makes it, but it's delicious. |
I dont like vanilla I perfer the rashberry ones :3 but the normal ones with marshmellows are my all time favorite X3
I tried something that tasted pretty amazing the other day! Peppermint hot chocolate!
It was lovely! I love anything minty so to mix Peppermint and chocolate (two of my favourite flavours) together is a great idea. I had it in Gloria Jeans Coffee and my friend/colleague had raved about it quite often so he decided to treat me to it and boy was I a happy person after that! Plus, it felt rather Christmassy as well! I think if it was made into an ice-blended version, it would taste just as good. Or maybe even better! <3 |
I like chocolate hot chocolate?
But no marshmallows, they are nasty >_< |
Once I made hot cocoa with a spoon full of peanut butter and some big marsh mallows. It was DELICIOUS. I'm not much for the minty flavor so Peppermint sounds kinda gross to me...
Rancakes: First things first, I like your username! LOL! It sounds really cute! When I saw your name, I was like 'Whoa! Twinnie!'
But peanut butter hot chocolate??? That sounds alien to me! But then again, I eat peanut butter falvoured M&Ms and chocolate and peanut butter ice-cream so I guess hot chocolate with peanut butter must taste ind of good. Makes me curious. I would definitely try it if I weren't having this sore throat/cough >.< |
I usually drink hot chocolate with milk. However, sometimes I also add hazelnut syrup. The taste it gives is quite different. Sometimes, I honestlycan't decide if I want to drink my hot chocolate with or without hazelnut syrup.
I didn't know that there were flavors for hot chocolate... Huh. All I've had is ovaltine-based hot-chocolate. I think that once I had real (as in actually-made-from-chocolate) hot-chocolate, but only once. >.>
You can add any kind of coffee creamer for flavor or coffee syrups. That's what I use most the time at least.
Peanut butter sounds amazing too. I so want to try that next time I make cocoa. |
