... *scoffs* Greetings, Menewshan... I suppose you will have to excuse my foul disposition. I find all of this fake cheer and joy to be a bit sickening. The snow falls and dampens the island, hushing all sounds... yet rather than silence, I am followed by loud talking, singing, and general racket. I would rather enjoy the winter in peace and silence... But instead Vicky traipses up to me with a big plate of sweets raving of how I will "LOVE" them. *scoffs* I destroyed them. I suppose you want something from me, though... I have a proposition; you stand over there for a minute or two and keep the other Menewshans from singing their wretched songs to me and I will reward you with what remains of one of these awful cookies. I suppose you will be wondering when I will about, then... Although I do enjoy partaking in Menewshan festivities, I fear the cheer will be too much for me to bear for the entirety of the celebration. I will be taking to the backroom of my shop on the 24th and 26th to see that I do not go mad. I cannot say with certainty what other times I will choose to leave, but I can say that I will not be here constantly.
