Why is the exchange scary?
You save up gold, find someone selling an item you want, and you ask them to buy it. :O
Some will even let you haggle so you can get it cheaper.

i do not know, i just go in there and i see all these giant titles of threads, and they're already so big... so many responses and i have no hope of navigating through them all. very, very frightening.

You don't need to navigate them all. The only pages that are important are the first and last ones. xD

I can't promise being super nice, but I'll try.
As a spooky themed avatar, it's nice. But, I would actually like to see her having red eyes. It'd be a second spot of red, and would be an excellent focal point. c:

Overall, the avatar feels a little typical gothic, and I think it is, in fact, the spider that makes it unbalanced.
I'd also change the hairstyle, I never liked that style, and I think it looks funny...

I'd like to either see some more skin, to balance the light vs. dark, or to add more light color to the head. > w<

Seriously, I love this avatar.
My only complaints are the hammer, and the pipe. They change the shape of the avatar a little, and it looks "meh" to me.
But overall; absolutely excellent.

I think the bird looks odd on the avatar. It looks like you just threw it on, because of the blue, and not because it "fits" with the rest of the avatar.

Overall, though, the avatar feels...lacking. It feels like it's missing something, and I'm honestly not sure what. Perhaps another skirt to complete the feel of perhaps and elaborate dress?

<unsure about this part, but just a thought> And maybe more brown blended in in little bits, would look nice, but I'm not sure if there's any brown that matches your hair, so perhaps make it a little more of a chocolatey brown, but keep it a cooler version of it, and just put in the smallest details?

I also feel like this one is lacking somehow, the top part of the avatar also feels a lot lighter, and less streamlined than the bottom part of the avatar, which looks odd, like halfway through getting dress in the morning this priestess (because that's what I see her as) decided to go somewhere else with her outfit. XD

lol You did very well at sugar coating XD I was not hurt at all. Buuut I was going for "classic lolita" so typical goth works quite well actually >.< Though Birdie does NOT do red... XP ever lol. I know I said it already but I do wish I could just wipe off that little bit of blood, and at time it urks me, but I love the rest of the head so much I learned to deal. I half and half agree on the hair style, I love the fluffy curly-ness of it, but I hate the bangs. I wish mene had more ringlet hair, or if we could pick the bangs separate from that back, Oh that would be awesome! but I'm sure quite a bit more coding...sorry getting off track, The spider was actually the starting item of the avi XD I dunno I'm a little OCD about framing my avi's not sure why. I like the spider for that but I can't think of anything that could go in the opposing corner to balance it. Because you are right it made it very heavy on that side.
SO yeah you can ignore that paragraph if you like, just let me know what you think we be another good fluffy little girl hair style aaand yeah what do think could "frame" her, either something to balance the spider or another one entirely. Just not the skull frame I have now, that one was just to white for my taste with that one.

lol You should, you both have very nice avi's and a good eye for advice. Since I'm not very matchy I think it's good to get advice from those who are. Gives me a good balance I guess. Platty did share my love for purple though, so she had that in common with me and seemed to like a lot of my avi's just because of that XD

LOL indeed you do. I LOVE your hair! Mines bright purple on top and then fades to a deep grape/black where my hair didn't bleach out all the way XD at first I was mad but now I like the gradient effect... I need to hunt down a picture now.

When I got my hair dyed, part of it was already bleached, but the top 6 inches (at least) weren't. So when I went in to get my hair done, since the bottom half was pretyy damaged they only bleached the top part, which ended up a lot lighter....so when they put the dye on, the bottom part didn't "take" as well.
So they put on a dark blue on the bottom, to try and get the color to hold better.
So my hair kindof looks like the pacific ocean. It's kindof cool. :P
