Sashi nearly burned her self from freight when she jumped " dear god don't do that when I'm cooking" she said

"I'm not a god. I'm a demon. Sorry though didn't mean to startle you." Talbot said taking a few steps back.

" that's a bad joke Talbot go sit down or no food for you" she said shaking her wooden spoon at him

Talbot sat down like she asked the threat of no food working well against him. "What's a bad joke?" he asked slightly confused.

She rolled her eyes and shook her head " never mind" she said and went back to cooking once it was done she put it on two plates one for him and one for her. she sat down beside him and ate quickly she ahd a lot of home work and house work to do

Talbot said thanks before starting to eat. He struggled a bit with the utensils before getting back into the swing of things. When he finally looked up from his plate he noticed Sashi's hurried pace.

"Is there something wrong?"

She shook her head " no just lots of stuff to do" she said and continued to shovle food into ehr mouth when she was done she rised adn cleaned the dishes before heading up to her room

"Can I help? I do owe you one." Talbot said eating more of his food. If he helped her out here he could pay back his debt to her.

She shook her head " No I have home work and a bit of house work nothing you could really help with" she said as she sat at her desk

Talbot finished eating and followed her. "Are you sure? I can do a bit of housework. I'm sure cleaning hasn't changed that much."

She chuckled " go find teh vacum cleaner" she told him it was abit of a mean thing to do since she knew he wouldn't know

Talbot staired at her blankly. "What's a vacum and how does it's cleaner clean it?" He was now sure the humans had gone crazy making the simple process of cleaning difficult.

She smiled " see?" she asked him " I would let you help but I don't have time to teach you" she said more kindly and went back to her homework

Talbot nodded and then sat down on the couch. If he couldn't help her he might as well stay out of her way.

She spent half the day in her room and the other half rushing about the house cleaning it with a bunch of gizmos

When it came time for her to use the vacuum cleaner Talbot jumped up on the couch. "What in the world is that thing?" Talbot demanded starring at the machine as if it would hurt him.

she smirked " its the vacum if you don't use it properly it'll suck you stright into hell" she teased him pushing it a bit closer to the couch as she turned it on

Talbot looked at her surprised. "Really? Why didn't you tell me that thing could send me home. Is that why it's so loud?" Talbot said looking over at it as she pushed it closer but still refusing to get off the couch.

She frowned he wasn't afride and yeah she should a figured hell would have been his home. " no not really" she said and continued to vacum around the place " it only sucks up dirt"

"Oh,"Talbot said a little dissapointed. "Good I guess cause I don't think I would have been able to go near it." No longer curious about the machine he moved farther over on the couch away from it.

She shook her head " come here your learning how to use it" She said chuckling at him still

"No, no you were right. It's best that I just stay out of the way." Talbot shook his head kept moving away until he was at risk of falling off of the couch.

She rose an eyebrow and kept inching closer to him " whats wrong talbot?" she asked

Talbot hesitated not liking that he'd probably seem odd. "It's loud and weird. I know I shouldn't mind it but that thing sets me on edge. Probably just some left over instincts from being a cat for so long."

She chuckled and turned the vacum off finally done all her chores. she sat down and simply relaxed
