Sanctuary

Hello and welcome to the Sanctuary! I may not be Doctor Helen Magnus but I know quite a bit about the Sanctuary as I am a BIG fan of the show! I'm hoping I'm not the only one that loves this series. Any and all Abnormals are welcome to join the discussion!

I'm a little shocked that there isn't already a thread about this. I swore there was one. XD

Anyway, I'm a BIG fan of the show, but I'm not quite sure what I make of this new season.
It's been a little "iffy" for me so far.
I hope it picks back up in a way that doesn't fail, but, I'm starting to worry about it. I'm falling out of love with Amanda Tapping and Magnus as a character has been getting kindof "meh" lately, and Will is annoying and useless lately.
I want to see more episodes with Kate, Henry and the Big guy.

Also, I was shocked when I found out that Christopher Heyerdahl, plays both the Big guy AND John. o 3o

I didn't see one (which was weird) but I looked. Then again knowing my luck I probably missed it but...meh...the thread's created now!

Magnus is my FAVOURITE character! She is awesome and a really strong female character which I like. Weak and helpless characters just get on my nerves. I have to agree with you about the newest series tough. Will is a bit annoying and an example of one of the more "iffy" episodes would definitely be that "hero part 2) episode, with the suit. I REALLY didn't like that episode (I didn't like it the FIRST time I saw the suit!) but there ARE some good episodes like the one where they had to rescue Nikola. I have to say I like his character. He makes me laugh, especially in the ep where he says "So I'm your house elf now?" (or something like that) and Magnus replies "Thank you Dobby." That was VERY funny!

He plays both???? Well, their voices sorta sounded similar but I figured that they were just from the same place and had the same accent...that's news to me though! I din't like John much to be honest...I prefer Nikola.

I just watched the last episode available "The Hollow Man" (I think that was the name" and I was on the edge of my seat!!!!!!!! -grins- It WAS really funny when Druitt dissappeared on Nikola, the experssion on his face was just PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!
Not to mention the EVIL cliffhanger!!!!!!!

I like Nikola a lot actually. He's a quirky character with an amazing actor behind him to make him "stand out" and work so wonderfully.

Nikola, Magnus and the Big Guy are my three favourite characters in the whole series! I just love their personalities! I DEFINITELY prefer Nikola to Druitt, he just annoys me even if he is played by the same acter that plays the Big Guy.

It was finale-ish I agree and I was SO annoyed! I LOVED the basilisk though! They did a great job with that! -grins- VERY cool and the added feature of facial recognition to hunt was a really cool idea! Well that and when Druitt and Adam left Nikola behind, his expression was BEYOND priceless!!!!!!!

I started a sanctuary RP, interested in joining? So far no one's volunteered (unfortunately)

I love the special effects team they have. I really do, even in episode one, the special effects were outstanding!
I mean, did you know that almost the whole lab is just a big special effect? > w<

Also, I would join, if it was like a Sanctuary type thing, but, without the characters from the show. I don't like playing characters that aren't my own, lol.
I also need to check back on some of my RPs, I got kindof lazy and sidetracked during the event. XP But that's neither here nor there.

I saw that on the Bloopers I watched on youtube ^_^ It's really impressive!

That's why I've set it up so that people can choose to be a character OR they can be their own person/human/abnormal/whatever. It's pretty open right now since I made it before I watched Hollow Men.

Events can be pretty distracting sometimes.
