Hi there. Bit of a pokemon fan, though mainly casually rather than intensely like I used to be.

It's Black and White 2 rather than Coal Black and Snow White, or whatever, because it's a direct sequel rather than a remake, as near as I can tell. Beats Yellow/Platinum/etc for the second release of the generation, I guess, though hopefully it will have the usual sort of second release of generation extras as well as a plot that continues that of the first, rather than just a plot that continues that of the first, mind.

I think everyone was expecting Grey, possibly followed by Radiant Ruby and Spectacular Sapphire (Or... Whatever. Though after Heart Gold and Soul Silver it might just be a case of pick a random word), rather than Black and White 2.

Three years, an ice age, and hopefully Plasma won't go all Team Rocket like and decide that cutting off slowpoke tails is a great source of income like what happened last time there was a game that was explicitly set some years after the previous. Seriously, what was with that plot point?

Cause team rocket is Evil.(and dumb) and that was the evilest thing they could think of.

I would personally like a DS version of the old gameboy color games cause i never got a chance to play them. ( i want to play yellow) And soul silver has my favorite gameplay of the DS games. More use of the touchpad instead of less. Also easier to get all of the pokemon :D I wish i could get every single pokemon ever. But no game allows that. :[ especially since i've never made it to "specilal super awesome releases that are super limited edition never to be seen again" times.

Yes, team rocket is evil and dumb, but team plasma was also stupid. Telling people that it was mean to have their pokemon as friends and that they should just let them all go so they could be free, but in actuality they were just capturing them to use for themselves.

I'll admit, I was expecting grey as well XD I wonder if there will be any way to get game data from b & w to use on b & w 2?

I like being able to play the gameboy color games on my SNES but... the music is so annoying @[email protected] I never realized before.

Well yea... it doesn't sound so good on a TV. Or maybe it was really annoying before and I just never really noticed :XD

B&W2 will be same generation as B&W, so I'd have thought they'd be at least as compatable as Fire Red/Leaf Green was with Ruby/Saphire, and Heart Gold/Soul Silver was with Diamond/Pearl - Not even RBY/GSC levels of wonkiness

From what I've heard there'll be new forms of some previous pokemon (A black alternate form and a white alternate form of Kyurem) but no indication that there'll be new pokemon. Though I've no inside information, so could be wrong.

New new, or the game data is in Black and White but they're not available in Black and White (Like they do with event pokemon; Mew, Celebii, etc), do you know?

the two legendaries in black and white... duh....reshiram and zekrom, have new versions of themselves in the second one. let me see if i can find an image.
