1000 pages missing?
I've returned from the event, to my normal thread. (DON'T LEAVE ME!)
And I had a page prize running for page 4000 Before the event, I'm sure we were up to atleast 3400 pages, and now the event's over, we've suddenly only got just over 2000 pages I'm just wondering where the pages have gone, because I don't seem to have lost any gold, and I posted an awful lot in my thread, if anyone's gold should have notably decreased, it'd be mine... It's not just my computer, I've asked, and Jeanie and HIM_ROCK can see it too because I know sometimes my computer likes to have a hissy fit Also, is there some sort of thread limit? I've not seen anything about it, but I know some sites do have it where a thread gets to a certain size and then it's left and a new one is started... |

If Inso's done what he said he was going to do it's because threads now display more posts per page. Right now I haven't actually checked because I've just this second logged in, but I'll just have a look-see :) ..... Yep, he has made the change :) This has been done because we were getting pretty poor results on google from its search engine spiders. It would seem that the spiders are lazy little things and they can't really be bothered to look at more than the first page of a thread, so the page length has been increased to help the bone-idle little devils out! Also, interestingly, they don't take much notice of a thread at all if the first post doesn't contain much, so you guys are helping us out if you talk more in your first post ;) |
