Opinion on Snow?
Do you hate it? Do you love it? Or are you playing Switzerland and being neutral?
Personally, I've gotten used to seeing snow so much...it just bores me now. =3 And I get really frustrated when I'm visiting a country-side that has tons of snow and they didn't shovel their sidewalks and my shoes get all snowy. :? |
its pretty looking but I dont love snow.
its to cold and wet lol :P |
I live in an area where it snows every winter, and I agree. It does get boring. But I can't really imagine life without a white winter.
I would miss it alot if I moved somewhere non-snowy. I love it. |
so I both love and hate it... the photographer in me hates days when theres fresh unmissed wiht snow outside her door I have to go to work.. the everyday person in me hates it, nothing good comes from it.. I live in a small southern town in TN that normaly doesnt get any, so when it doessnow or even hits of snow.. ppl are out like mad men buying up everything, drving crazy, Im very good at being that one person who finds the ice a falls...

I loooooove snow. <3 It is so fun and soft, and you can build tiny little things with it. :D And it is so relaxing, just falling backwards in it and just feeling like you fell on a HUGE pillow. My love.<3 (:

I like it for a maximum of 2 days. While it still looks fresh and pretty and is still a novelty. Once it gets all dirty, slushy and starts affecting where I can and can't go (was snowed in for about 10 days back in December), it gets a little tiresome.
In countries that are used to it and have the resources to deal with it, it's fine, but not in England, where we really can't deal with it at all (and it's not worth us getting the equipment and resources to deal with it, as we don't get snow often enough for it to be viable). |
I like freshly fallen snow, when it's still soft and powdery. After a day or two, it becomes either dirty slush or ice, both of which I hate. :<
|
I like it when it's fresh or presently snowing. After it's been there for a few days it just starts to look disgusting, and up here in Alaska we have one big snowfall every year and that snow stays on the ground until around March. So, overall, I hate snow.

I have a dislike of snow, I don;t like going out and shoveling because when i am done, I am covered in hives from the work of it all. And that is followed by benadrill, a hot shower and then sleep for a couple of hours. Not that I mind but, I sleep enough as it is.
|
I'm used to having a crap-ton of snow and having to go out of my way to walk on sidewalks instead of cutting through yards. /: I have to strip out of my pants and shoes as soon as I get home because of how soaking wet and cold they are.
|
I love the snow :3, but only for a certain amount of time. I can't stand seeing snow for longer than two weeks (a large amount of it though). But this winter has been more like early spring. We haven't got that much snow here in Nevada. It's been too warm, so the snow we have got this year hasn't lasted that long. But I know that we are going to get a good snowfall at some point before spring actually starts.

As an Australian who lives in a location that never snows, I've only ever seen snow once, it was during winter and I went to a place in Australia far from home that snows on the mountain top. My first impression was that it was exactly like shaved ice.
Fun to play with, I even made a snow man, but I feel fortunate that I don't have to deal with snow related problems in my everyday life. |
I hate snow, a lot. Where I live there is about 3 feet of snow on the ground D=
|
I have love/hate feelings towards snow. =/
I love it because its pretty, and sometimes its fun to play in(since you can make snowmen armies 8D). But I hate it since its everywhere, its cold, and I have to see it for months on end. x_x |
I hate snow. I really really hate the cold. I tend to hibernate during the winter and only go out if I really need to. Anemia makes me get cold super easy no matter how many layers I put on. I also hate the fact that snow blocked my driveway, makes the roads undrivable, makes my car all icy, and melts and makes a huge mess out of everything.
I do however enjoy winter activities on occasion. We have a winter fest here every year and they have sledding and snow shoes races and things like that that are fun to do. I also do build a snowman every year because one is never to old to build a snowman or snowman army. |
I love it when it is in time for Christmas but now I want it all gone. My boots are ruined because of the snow and salt and I can never dress the way I want because the clothes are more for spring/summer. D<
|
It gets old fast. Pretty and neat for a day or two, and then I want it gone and I don't want to see it again until next Christmas. It's cold, wet, and inconvenient. It turns to ice and mud and I absolutely hate that.
|
Some days I like it and some days I don`t. Most of the time thou it makes no differance. Then again I`m a Canadian. We just learn to live with it here.
|
Coming from a place that hardly gets snow I must say I love it! even though when we do get it it's like..not the best snow, but when you go years without seeing it it looks amazing. As Long as I don't have to drive in it, since it doesn't snow here ofter most people in this city have trouble moving around in it.
|
It's pretty to see on the news, but in person? Blah. Overcast clouds and rain thx.
|
My opinion can not be solid as I have never really been in snow, I live in central California the land that snow has forgotten. But seeing it in a picture or on a television/computer screen it is so beautiful and I long to experience just one snowfall that paints the city all over. To feel and hear my feet crunching in mat of fresh powder, to feel it sprinkle all in my hair and all over my body like powdered sugar on a donut. Just once.

I LOVE SNOW!
Which is lucky, because we got 30+ inches this past week. :) |
I love snow. I think it's just so pretty. well that is before it gets walked in and then driven in. Then it turns an ugly blackish gray color. I like playing in it too. It's a little childish but it's natures silly puddy. =)
|
I hate winter in general. It's a cold depressing time for me. The trees are bare and everything is gray. Snow doesn't make it any more or any less depressing. Still I can only tolerate snow for so long. I like snow the first time it falls in winter. For me, it's not Christmas unless it's snowy. I must admit, it is pretty when it's falling from the sky but after it is on the ground it's a minor annoyance. It slows down traffic and causes slush. After January 6th, I'm ready for winter to be over. I want warmer weather, flowers, and green grass. Can't the ground hog not see his shadow for once? I want spring.
|
I personally hate it a lot because I have to walk 4 times back and forth from my school to home and vice versa, every day. It's especially annoying in my area where the sidewalk-plowers are lazy as heck and do a bad job on clearing the sidewalks. :C
