Really? She didn't want you to watch? I always watch. I donate blood whenever I can. It's been a while, so I am long due. I used to "race" whoever I was with donating to see who could bleed out the fastest. It's bad but, I was super proud I always won. I even have a mark on my arm from where blood gets drawn, cause I did it so often in college/ the end of high school. Trying to give when I could cause my mom had so many transfusions when she was sick....so I wanted to help where I could too since there are always people in the same situation as my mum. Hey Woody. Way to make the story sappy.
Um. Here's a T Rex playing a guitar http://i241.photobucket.com/albums/f...8r/_t-rex2.gif |
That T-Rex... [rofl]
I just laughed so hard when I saw that. |
Guitar playing T-Rex after a spiel on blood donations...how random...[:)]
|
But at the same time very appropriate!! [insane]
|
It's a mood changer...[lol]
|
I look at that T-Rex and all my troubles go away....
Okay, not really, but that is one rockin' dinosaur. Sometimes I wonder about how they really lived though, actual T-Rex's.. They had HUGE heads, thick legs, and these teeny tiny arms! [lol] How did they even move? [:O] |
Maybe T-rex are particularly flexible?
|
In what area? [XD] [lol]
To me, imagining a T-Rex, if it moved at all, it would look very awkward~ |
I always like the giant club-tailed tortoise looking ones. I cant remember their name, but they were cool. Or a Triceratops. They were bad ass. There was one that had 5 horns on it i think too, not the 3 of the triceratops, and i thought it was cool too!
|
This talk about dinosaurs makes me think about how when I was a little boy I always wanted one as a pet before finding out they were extinct [lol]
|
Hahaha thats funny Nuggets! [lol]
|
Ahhh. This guy Droopy?
http://planetdi.startlogic.com/dinos...losaurus_2.gif Ankylosaurus. Ankle saurus! XD Oooh, switch dinosaur with unicorn & dragon and that was my childhood. |
Yeah, thats the one Woodster!
|
That's one of the dudes from Land Before Time. I used to love that movie, and pretend I was a dinosaur because of it when I ate salad.
Granted I also pretended I was a faery. And I guess I still do since I go to Ren Faires and I made myself faery wings..... Tsk. hmmmmmm. Oh, also, I saw it in the news and you talked about it. How'd that election go? |
We got the Aussie equivalent of Bush.
In under 24hrs hes already got the whole world laughing at him for his 'analogy' of the Syrian conflict. [roll] Putz. Anywho, this is essentially it: https://fbcdn-sphotos-a-a.akamaihd.n...82292245_n.jpg |
[no] OH dear...there are so many 'jokes' going around about Abbott already...
|
Ayup.
I don't disagree with many of them, but he hasn't been in for long enough for me to form a proper opinion on him. |
Like many politicians, I don't like him, hopefully the policies put in place won't have a significantly negative impact.

OK, without getting personal on why I dont like him, and basing this purely on his parties policies, this is why i think he sucks:
A) He doesnt allow a conscience vote for his party to decide upon gay marriage and whether it should be a policy. B) Their fiscal policies will (and mark my words here) bring about a recession, they are that bad! C) This recession will allow them to bring in workplace reforms that cut wage benefits like penalty rates etc. D) (I admit this is semi personal) He lets his religion strongly influence his decision and policy making. What ever happened to Separation of church and state? E) Their 'upgrade' of our internet infrastructure is dismal, and would still leave the nation subject to the SAME problems that we are already experiencing as those problems continue to get worse! Fibre to the house, not to the node, is a brilliant idea and will set us up with SO many upgrade options that it will last us another hundred or more years! THIS VIDEO says it all about the Libs policy. Members of his party (mostly former members I believe) have said that he is not a true 'Liberal/National' because he has no idea about markets. His ideologies of peoples 'places' are from a long gone era, and his decisions will be steps towards taking us back to that era. This man is so 'smart' he called his opposition the 'suppository of all knowledge' as a joke... except the word he SHOULD have used is repository. A suppository is something you stick in your butt. Critics of his party arent going to have to even LOOK for material to ridicule him with, he will supply it for them, gift wrapped in national addresses and public incidents. And because of his mentality, policies, |
lol. Suppository. Maybe he really meant that and not repository.
Oy. I'm pretty glad it's not election season over here. Does it get really chaotic where you are when it comes time? I hate all the mud-raking and the signs that sprout up all over everyone's yards.... People standing on street corners shouting and what not. I'm usually more of a 'my view are my views and you're not gonna change em' kinda gal. So. When I see people getting into fights or what not over it all I get miffed. |
Our elections have a 4 week campaign period up to the election date. Its pretty hectic in that time though, but my goodness do you see and hear some retarded shit in that time, mostly from the bone head supporters who dont know squat about the parties policies, theyre lobbying because they like the candidate, not what they stand for.
|
4 weeks? That's it? Can I trade? If it's Election year...it's Election YEAR here. For the presidential elections at least. Nonstop in the news, on the radio, plastered over people's yards, in the mail. I just want to become a hermit when it happens so I don't get asked about my political views again. >.<
|
Thats just ridiculous! We have 4 weeks of official campaign time, and thats it! That said, its fucking intense. What your guys do all year, we cram into 4 weeks. There was a good comedic comparison made of the two somewhere from memory that I thought was funny.
|
Let me put it this way.
Over here, we have posters EVERYWHERE. At one point, I had to walk my brother to school. There was a poster in every second window, and the other school we have to walk past on the way had posters put up advertising both sides. Next to each other. 4 weeks doesn't sound like much, but holy hell, does it feel a lot longer. |
