It's not bad for them, it's just a way to reabsorb the calcium and clean up, but it does encourage cannibalism and egg eating. Which are not good in a farm environment.

i've heard that cooked meat is bad for dogs like processed food is bad for humans compared to raw natural alternatives..I wonder whether it would be the same for chickens eating cooked chicken meat vs raw chicken meat...?

That's not really an issue. They eat them both fine with no problems, it's just uncooked is what they'd naturally eat since I don't see chickens using fire anytime soon BI
