Yeah I know a little about Pine Gap... and yes, its where our Hexagon is. The Pentagon has 5 sides... we had to go one better, so ours has 6! Its a joint facility with the US and allies to basically joint HQ for operational things.
It also had the plans stolen by the Chinese I think it was alleged, within 6 months of it starting construction lol. SOOOO secret! Diana, I'm not much of a fan of most radio stuff, the commercial stuff isnt really to my taste to be honest. I find most of my music through mates and the internet using related stuff to things I like. For the most part, I use Pandora to listen to different stuff. The closest stuff to that that I'm aware of would be a band called Tyr from, I want to say Norway? I have a feeling it may be Finland or something in that region though. Anyways, they do Nordic Metal, and their earlier stuff is more battle hymn style, so less guitars and stuff, all done in Farose i think the language is? Thats about the best I can suggest thats even close to my knowledge of Traditional Celtic.

Yeah, the members of Týr are Faroese and they are from the Faroe Islands... It's a good band. I love the umm.. "vikingness" of their music. [XD] They don't always speak in faroese with their music though; they have a few songs in which they have spoken Norweigian and even icelandic, I believe. |
I love Lorenna Mckennitt...she does some good celtic and celtic influenced music. Ah, Gaelic Storm is more modern, Faun is a German band that's pretty amazing....Clannad is traditional fun... The Pogues is the punk side of Irish music.
