Thats something i love about ya, but you know this already lol!
Man, cant wait for this xmas bollocks to be over already! Theres things i want to do, things i NEED to do, that i cant do until all that is out of the way. >_< New house would be the first thing. New job would probably be next. New car after that hopefully. |
that i doooooo :)
is that your new years resolution list? lol actually, i think i'd benefit from having one this year and i'd benefit more if i actually went through with it  |
Thats part of it i think. Probably more realistic than my last one anyways lol!
Looking forward to getting away from here for a few days too! NZ in 2 days, even if it is with family, will be better than work lol! |
i don't even remember the last time i made a resolution list... i want to start thinking about it i think
wow, in two days you are off? well if we don't chat before then, i wish you safe travels :) |
Phew, this thread just breezed by me! I was kinda sick the last few days. I'm still not sure if it's a cold or mild food poisoning. Or just bad post-nasal drip giving me a sore throat.
|
Cheers Linn, hopefully ill catch you tomorrow night maybe, if not, dont get up to too much mischief while im gone! And you lot need to keep this place alive for me while im gone if i cant post too!
Scholar, i hope youre feeling better. Ive just gotten over a cold myself, pain in the bum that it was! |
Hey, Assassin, thanks. I'm pretty sure now it was a combination of allergies (I'd left the dust mite cover off a feather pillow, which was actually in the closet but now that it's covered I'm suddenly not as mucus-y), sleeping in too cold a place, and mild constant dehydration for the last week or so. I've pushed the fluids, eaten well, had mild exercise, kept warm, and changed my sheets, and that's dealt with a lot of the problems.
Off to Tokyo tomorrow -- Studio Ghibli Museum for research! (I love my work!) |
*Peeps head into the thread*

and you want me to like, be active here? what the hell, man :stare: you're asking for an awful lot here  :P |
Glad youre feeling better Scholar!
*throws platypus at Nuggets head* No hiding in my bar man! Also, "TAG! YOURE IT!" Ill believe you and mischief arent well acquainted when hell freezes over and Satan comes up to beat the chill! Also, wouldnt ask anything of you i didnt think you could handle! ;) |
*Tries to dodges platypus but fails.*
I don't want to be it :gonk: *Pokes Assassin with poking stick* TAG. You're IT. |
there's a lot i can handle ;)
|
Hi Linnea :XD
:glomp: |
hey hey, nuggs :) sorry this is so late! i got to watching some doctor who lol i love that show!
i'm off to bed now, but i hope you have a good night! |
No, no, I'm IT!
:D It got weirdly warm today. I was all muffled up for my trip up to Tokyo, and instead wound up sweating driblets down my back even without scarf and sweater, while waiting outside for the Ghibli Museum Cafe line to move another inch... |
I don't like how the weather has kept changing lately. If I didn't check the forecast I'd seriously be wearing the wrong clothes based on the weather conditions for the previous day!
|
The weather's been wonderful here.
|
You think? Today was nice, I admit, just don't like how it keeps changing. lol.
|
It hasn't really been changing on this side of the city. *shrugs* Lovely for my veggies.
|
Ooh veggies, what type do you grow sensia?
|
I've heard that the term "global weirding" is more accurate than "global warming." Certainly the rainfall and temperature fluxuation records I've seen here and there show that things are swinging back and forth more wildly than in previous years.
|
Global weirding does sound about right. I wonder how frequently the weather in Melbourne has been fluctuating, it's been known to be sunny one moment raining the next over there. And that was before all this climate change stuff was really considered such a huge issue.
|
Global Weirding~ Haha.
We grow lots of stuff. Tomatoes, potatoes, Cucumber... Ect, ect, ect.. |
Ling, have you heard the saying about San Francisco? Actually, there are two: "If you don't like the weather, just wait a few minutes." And then the other one: "If you don't like the weather, just walk a few blocks." They're both completely true. Depending on where you are in the hilly terrain, little microclimates can emerge. Oh, and there's also Mark Twain's saying: "The coldest winter I ever spent was summer in San Francisco." :D
|
That's awesome sensia.
I don't really know much about the US, apart from how it's depicted on tv shows and the news. so I hadn't heard that about San Francisco, that's very interesting though. |
