Oohh yah it was tackle rugby alright. Over here in the states, if you play rugby, you play it just like the boys. But girls do the whole evil pull your hair or biting on top of it all. 10 minutes into my first game, I was punched in the face after I passed off the ball by this HUGE hulk of a girl. I got a shiner and everything, it was pretty BA
And I loooove the haka. It's not intimidating to me, I think it's beyond hot. ;) And of COURSE I like kiwi. Nom nom nom. The squidgy looking flightless bird (not to eat of course) and the fruit. I still like cricket. I know a lot of ppl think its boring, but I like it. I never got to play it in school....nor did I play rugby/ they didn't even HAVE rugby till I was in college. It is a big thing in Vermont. The mens team was pretty good, and the woman's team just started the year before I joined at my first college. At my second college, the men's rugby team..ooooh baby. |
i think those guys in green just peed their pants a little
every time i watch the all blacks do a haka it gives me the goose pimples lol |
That was the first time I'd seen that dance. Interesting and very macho-like.
|
Really? No tackle for girls where you are Dolly? I played tackle sevens in year nine...
|
Carzee plays??? Ooooooh, what position?! :D :D :D
And yah they did Linny ;) Man..... I just..... if I saw that in person, I would probably run out into the field in search of a new man ;) hahaha |
Bwahahaha, that's an interesting thought Woodlandnymph.

I thought it was illegal but maybe that is only mixed teams. We played Scrag at school (like bullrush but with rugbyish rules) and that got really violent. Broken arms and teeth and ripped clothes. Yeah, naturally that got banned pretty quick lol. I think the worst I had done to me was a gouge out of my face by some vicious girls nails and that was during a game of NETBALL! I still bare the scar.
Some mates and I did the Haka in a night club on the weekend (I'm not IN NZ btw) and everyone was looking at us like we had a screw loose. Maybe we do :D I can honestly say I find NONE of the All Blacks hot. Maybe cos I went to school with some of them or that my sister is dating one of their younger brothers, but they really are jerks. Most of them anyways. And those ears are NASTY! |
I don't think they're good looking either.
|
My friend was the hairdresser for Richie McCaw. I had to sit next to him while he was getting his hair cut. Needless to say, I got rather paranoid of the scissors....
|
No idea who that is, but paranoia certainly isn't a pleasant feeling.
Anyway I'm off, night Narcotic Dolly. |
Wow.... Someone doesn't know Richie? O.o
He's the captain of the All blacks. Probably the only one I can recognise! |
I pretty much haven't heard of most sports celebrities. Except for the odd Australian one.
|
Wait... Sport people can be counted as celebrities?
Bythewayhieveryone |
They can in New Zealand. We don't have the other kind.
But wait, what about David Beckham? Is he not a celebrity? |
No. He's just some sport guy...
I don't like publicised sport. I HATE it. ^^' |
Why? What's the problem with it?
|
ehh... It probably has something to do with my early school life.
|
Hello all!
|
Hey Dolly! How you doooin'?
|
*steals a cupcake*
|
Woody the cupcake stealing statue! (Man, that would confuse the locals...)
|
i would just have to be one of those ppl only dressed to look like a statue, so I can make off with their baked goods. muahaa
|
-hands cups cakes to all- There are plenty to go round!
|
Yay! Did I tell you guys that I made sixty cupcakes the other day? SIXTY! It was intense.
