thalia woke up and went into nicos room. he was asleep so she jumped on him

"sure" she siad.

Nico was awakened by this and hugged her. He looked at her a little sleepy eyed. "Hey cutie." he said.

"Sounds good." she said.

"ok lets get ready" she said.

He kissed her. "How'd you sleep gorgous?" Nico asked.

"After we get you some breakfast, and relax a bit, it's still a bit early." he said chuckling.

"it was great" thalia siad.

Percy chuckled lightly and kissed her gently. He takes her hand gently into his and walks toward the dinning hall.

She fllows him with a smile.

He finds them some seats then gets both of them some breakfast. He then brings the plates back with silverware.

anabeth began eating.

Percy did too. "Yeah, you knoxked out on an empty bed in the infrimary, you must have been tired." he said.

"i was" she said.

"I'm glad you rested." Nico said.

"i am sure all of them will recover soon" she siad. she hugged him.

"Yeah, Im glad that we could save so many after such an attack. But it's sad most of the new campers didn't make it." he said, he hugged her back. He couldn't get the image of his allies dead out of his head, especially the new ones, the ones who looked up to him, and his friends who were more experienced.

"we will find more. they will be remembered for there bravery" she said.

"Yeah, it's just not fair, they were untrained and unprepared, they were slaughtered." he said. His distaste for Luke masking how he felt last night after he killed him. He hugged her for the comfort. He let the tears go as they would, he couldn't hold them in any longer.

"its ok" she said hugging him back.

"Yeah, but it's a lot to deal with, reminds me of a time when I was younger and my town was attacked many people were killed." he said.

"i am sorry. we have seen many deaths. i only hope to see no more" she said.

He calmed down and regained control. "Damn, it only hurts worse for me, I hide the hurt and pain until it breaks me, I've got to stop doing that." he said.

He kissed her back. "Thank you love." he said. He wouldn't say why he'd done what he did with his feelings for so long.
