Harry looks at Draco once he woke up and sighs gently. "Nothing..I was just worried about you...it look like you was having an nightmare...what was it about? your father?" ask as he was guessing but he figure it was right.

"Yea but it isn't anything to worry about" Draco lied knowing what would happen if his father had caught the two of them slightly even talking somewhat nice. Lucius didn't like anyone whom didn't act like them or purebloods.

Harry reaches over and grabs his glasses from the nightstand as he puts them on. He looks back to Draco and nods "Hmm ok if you say so." He kinda had an feeling that he was lieing but he wasn't about to stay anything about it.

Draco goes back to sleep or tries to, after trying so much he finally went to sleep, he was relaxed and happy he had harry next to him...(what now for plot?)

Harry relaxes knowing Draco was beside him. But who knows lays out before the two. He clearly knew Draco's father wouldn't be ok about this. He sighs gently in his sleep after he figure Draco had already fell back to sleep. (I'm thinking...)

The night had passed and classes went on normally. Draco spoke to Harry and everytime he was rude to him, Harry was told by Draco it was just more fun to tease him which made everyone believe he went back to being the Malfoy that he was.

Harry sighs deeply probbly knew only the reason why they was back so that way no one would knew about things between them for real. Once Harry gotten out of his last class he decide to head outside and take in some air. As being in classes room for so long can ware on a person. Ron would soon follow behind Harry "Hey Harry..when will Draco be going back to his own dorm?" Harry looks at Ron and shrugged "Who knows.. I think soon I suppose no one really don't know what happen or they aren't wanted step up to it. So I think they are just going to drop it and send Draco back to his room. WHich would be good he drives me crazy." says.

Draco was already packing his things, Dumbledore told him the room was completely fine and guarded now so no one could ever harm him again. Draco trusted him and just did as he was told. If Harry would go back to the room at all, Draco wouldn't be there. It was time to step it up a bit and get things back to the way they were. He cared about Harry but he knew all what his father could do or would plan for Harry and it would be almost as worst as the dark lord's wrath.

Harry heads back to his room hopes he would catch Draco before he left. he opens the door "Draco.." stops as he looks around his room. Harry sighs gently as he had missed him "I knew this wouldn't last long..maybe its for the best." says closes the door behind him. He removes his robe and hangs it up as he moves over and falls over onto his bed and sighs deeply.

Draco was back to normal for the past month to almost two months. There was a dance coming up called "The SnowFall Ball" and everyone was to ask someone, it would be a must that everyone would go. This dance would have only elegant dancing, there wouldn't be any loud music or rock 'n roll or heavy music type of things. It was almost like a Cinderella ball just hopefully more interesting. Draco heard that Ron wanted to ask Hermione but it didn't seem like he had yet. With that being said, Draco walked up to Hermione "A word Granger?" Draco asked before Ron could come into view. |

Hermione turns around as she was with Ginny and Cho talking to them about the dance. As Ginny was abit jealous and still ranting that Harry had asked Cho to the ball and she said yes. Ginny and Cho stop talking when they seen Draco come up and say something to Hermione. Hermione looks at him and nods "Uhh ok..what is it, Draco?" |

"Would you go to the Snow Ball with me?" Draco asked, anyone who was anybody would know that it was odd for a Mafloy to ask anyone under there status. "If not I understand and I will go by myself" Draco spoke. (remind me why draco and harry weren't talking?) |

Hermione's eyes widen at this and the other two stop talking to hear what Draco said. "Uhh sure since no one hasn't asked me yet." Hermione say. And the girls was even shock that Hermonie had said yes. Harry comes around the corner after finishing up his potion's class and stops seeing Draco talking to the girls. He sighs gently to himself guessing he was asking one them out since it was only fair since he already ask Cho out. Cho turn around and saw Harry before saying bye to Ginny and Hermione and walks over to Harry. This was hard to see Draco special they hadn't been talking only because if Draco's father ever found out there would be trouble. |

"Ginny, has anyone asked you out yet?" Draco asked wondering and said before that to Hermione "Thank you, it will be an honor" he spoke normally though. |
Ginny looks at Draco and shakes her head "No I was hoping Harry would ask me but he asked Cho to the ball." rolls her eyes. Hemorine nods "True he asked Cho this morning." Harry and Cho goes off to talk in the Great Hall.

"Well there are others you could ask that are still free" ron was free but that was her brother, her other brothers found dates as well, and as far as Neville, he was going with a Hufflepuff. Luna came up, skipping along in her normal happy tone "Whats going on?" she asked her accent clear "Trying to find Ginny a date for the ball" "Oh most of the guys are going with girls they like or going alone I heard, I am still looking as well" Luna spoke sounding a tad down.

Ginny looks at Draco then Luna who came up "Don't worry about it I might be just like the guys and go alone myself I mean everyone doesn't really have to go with somone." Hemorine shrugged and looking over at Draco "Btw what is going on between you and Harry..usualy you be at each others throats but you two haven't said one word to each other..?" As being Harry's friend she couldn't help to notices theses things.

"Well its just hard to explain, maybe you should ask him" Draco didn't know how to say it and yet still be able to escort her to the dance without him being turned down but he also needed to look good in front of his father and other friends even though going with a Gryffendor let alone Hermione Granger would deffiently bring up something for everyone to talk about.
Lately it seemed that Crab and Goyle got along just fine without Malfoy, of course they were mostly in the dining hall pigging out on whatever they could since eating was almost like a hobby of theirs. "I wonder who Malfoy is going to go to the dance with Goyle" Crab spoke up as Goyle shrugs "Some girl, probably Pansy if she has her way" "I know what you mean, that girl can be quite a handful" Crab nods in understanding eating a fishberry muffin. Ron on the other hand was walking down the hall seeing Malfoy talking to Hermione and walks over somewhat pissed off "Hermione can I talk to you for a moment" "She already has a date to the dance Weasly" it was common for the last names of others to use when to speak to someone you wouldn't like or didn't care to. "Ya with who?" "I wonder who is going to go with the boys this year?" Headmistress McGongall asked looking toward the students but also wondering out loud. She saw Hermione Granger and Draco Malfoy talking until Harry came up and left with Cho. That was an obvious one almost, she would've thought that Ginny and Harry would've went together. Ron looked like he was fuming mad when he came into view and then she heard Crab and Goyle talking since teachers had the chance to use magic when they wanted to. However they would never tell anyone that they could or that could ruin it for themselves, not like a student never used it themself but if they did too much and it caused a lot of attention the teachers would've had to say something. |

As it was the night of the ball as the Great hall had been cleared of all the tables and turn into the ball setting. Everyone was dressed up in their best as Harry escorts Cho inside the ball while he just looks around. He trys to look to see if Draco was here yet with Hermonie. As sure he was abit jealous but what could he do he surely couldn't let Draco's father find out which he saw his father arrive soon after. He sighs deeply as he looks over at Cho and smiles before he walks over and pulls otu an seat for Cho to sit down. He looks over his shoulder watching the professors was around just to make sure no one cause any trouble while some of the parents of the students was there especial Draco's father.

Hermione had already walked in with Draco, arm in arm, he wore a nice black and white suit fitting for his family's style. Hermione on the other hand chose to wear a midnight blue dress a couple inches off of the floor, it had silver sparkles to look like stars, you would have almost thought that it wasn't her with the way she did her make up. She seemed to look as if she was on the same standards as the Malfoys almost. "You look lovely tonight Hermione" Draco spoke up not paying attention to Harry as Hermione replied "You do know, after this, it won't happen again" Draco nodded "I know and its fine with me" Draco and Hermione had talked back and forth, Hermione would laugh a little, Draco would smile, it was as if they were the only two in the room as they danced slowly to the music. Lucius Malfoy had arrived, he had done better, enough to appear now that the dark lord was gone, or so they all that like they did years ago when Harry was a infant. "Lucius, good to see you" Mcgongall spoke though her voice showed she wanted him no where near the school after the whole battle. She knew he didn't care for Dumbledore when he was alive, nor now that he was dead. "Minerva, I am only here to see who my son Draco had asked to the dance" Mcgonagall was a bit surprised with her first name being used by him nonetheless. "It seems to me, that he had asked Granger, she looks surprisenly different tonight, did you pay for her dress?" Lucius shook his head "We did not, she must've gotten it herself. Though I hardly recognized her" that was very true. "Draco, don't freak but your father is here" Hermione spoke up as Draco looked with the corner of his eyes but back to Hermione "Don't worry about it, tonight its only you" Draco stated, deffiently sure to make certain this night wouldn't go bad, though for who he was trying to do it for, now that was a mystery to them. Mcgonagall went up to the stage stating as the couples stopped dancing "Now is for the waltz, please, everyone is to paticipate and must therefore dance, I do not wish to take house points or individual points away. Let us begin" She spoke. Everyone began dancing with their dates, some messing up, some doing fine, however, Draco was leading Hermione and they were doing very well as Draco asked in a whisper almost just for her to hear "I didn't know you knew how to waltz" "Ginny showed me a little, I may be a mudblood but I am not a fool Malfoy" Hermione stated as Draco shook his head "I'm sorry, you're not like those who get that name, I take that back, calling you one and all" Draco stated shocking Hermione. |
