Firestar looked Deminoan, "Two reasons. One, we had to make sure that you haven't been stealing the Snow Tribe's food. Two, those were stray wolves that left our clan to become rogues." he said looking at Nieva. "Are you okay, Princess?" Firestar asked in concern. "I'm fine. I just don't feel like talking right now." Nieva said putting her head in his fur hidding her face from everyone. Sadness still filled her heart and she didn't want anyone seeing it.

"Zaira" Jahero said softly. " I want to help you the best I can but I need to know your plans" he said. He lifted his head slowly, brushing his head on her muzzle. She felt warm as she lay on his back. If he could he would keep her on his back for as long as he could. He liked being nexts to her. but because of his rank and hers he wasn't mate suitable for the princess of the Dijin clan and beside. she wasn't thinking about a mate. She most likely was thinking of how to fix the Dijin tribes problems

"The best solution at the moment is to kill my parents and to take over.....but the tribe will not accept me if i don't have a mate." Zaira whispered back to him, keeping thier conversation to where it is for thier ears only, after all this was a Djinn matter and no one elses for the moment. "I just don't know anymore..." she whispered into his ear before she nuzzled his neck in a careing way, holding him as close as she could, she loved the smell of his fur and the fact that he was always there for her, in fact she didn't want to lose him but she couldn't do anything about it.

Jahero felt warm and calm. He didnt like being in this place but Zaira made it feel like home. He wished he could take her there but there where a few reasons why he couldn't. First her father would lock her up for entering the tribe of an enemy two was that she was hurt and if he had to hunt he could not keep and eye on her like he would like to. " Lets stop for some water., i want to take a look at your wound anyway and clean it a little. " Jahero said as they came to a small flowing river. he slowly slide Zaira off his back and onto a small pill of leaves nexts to the river. he took a small drink and then looked around. He drank on more time and then laid nexts to her.

"Thank you. I think they my legs are healing...since they are feeling itchy." Zaira said with a smile as she felt the soft pile of leaves, drinking some of the water before she watched Jahero drink, once he was done, she gruntted a bit before she forced her self to stand up, causeing the dry blood to crack open and start to bleed once more. She licked the top of his head before she slowly made her wayinto the river, laying down iin it as she let the water run over her back and help clean most of her wounds. "Maybe if i become the leader i can change things...." she whispered, who knew what was going throughher head at the moment as she looked over her shoulder at her fellow Djinn.

Jahero moved over to her. He stepped into the cold flowing river and slowly nibbled onto her wound opening it. As it began to bleed the water washed it away. he liked it to help ease the cold water hitting the open wound. Jahero paused a moment. But then moved closer to Zaira, slowly and slowly. He then licked the top of his head and then rolled over on his back to the princess.

Zaira whimpered a little bit as her wounds are reopened so that the water could clean them out, she turnned her head and watched as he licked her wounds to help take the bite out of the cold water. She smiled as she gently took his throat in her mouth, putting a little pressure on to his neck before she let him go, licking his neck before nuzzling him. "Jahero.....i would love to stay like this." she whispered to him as she hide her eyes with in his fur, greatful for him everyday, even wantting to stay like this was something she knew might be impossible at the moment.

" If i may Princess" jahero said still laying on his his back. He licked her muzzle " I would like to be with you when you become the alpha of our tribe. As a beta hunter i know the rules but still" he said as water splashed him softly. He licked her muzzle again just to make sure that he wasnt stepping over the line. he was in a place where she could kill he for even talking about becoming her mate, but it was what his body was telling him to do.

"That explains a lot." Evelina said as she looked at Firestar. Then, she looked at Nieva and nuzzled her a bit. "Are you all right?" She asked in a concerned tone, noticing how sad she was.

"I will change that rule once i become the leader." Zaira said to him as she smiled, licking him back, she was very happy at that moment, Jahero actually wantted to be with her. "I....." she couldn't find the words to express the happiness that was inside her so instead she nibbled on his ear before licking his muzzle, trying to show him that she was accepting his porposal of him being her mate.

Jahero smiled and rolled onto his stomic. He licked her muzzle and the her head and ears. ' Ill be right back" Jahero left run down the side of the ruver and out of Zaira's eyes. 15 minutes later he came back with a fish in his mouth and a smile on his face. " here Zaira....princess Zaira he said with a small pause. Think of this fish not only as food but as kind of a proposal" he smiled as he layed the fish on th elife pile so that it woudn't jump back into the water. He killed it quickly and waged his tail. He was happy that Zaira had taken him for her mate. (( Okay it is 3:12am in the morning i got to hit the hay. good night))

"Ah..." Zaira said as she watched him run off, she smiled softly to her self before she stood up, trembling from the effort it took to do so, she was just as glad that Jahero was just as happy as she was at the moment. "Jahero...." she said sweetly as she slowly moved over to him and the fish he had set down onthe leaves, nuzzling him for a few minutes before she licked his muzzle. She sat down carefully and took a bite out of the fish and ate the bite before she pushed it towards him so that he could eat it with her. "I am so very happy about you being with me as my mate." she whispered to him as she nuzzled him even more, nipping his ear once more.

"As am I Zaira, I swear to be by your side for as long as our gods allow us. I will stand by you in anything that you decide, even if I do not agree at the time I will back you up." He said as he licked her gently and then hugged her with his head. He was happy. The only thing to worry was Zaira's father. He was not as easy going as Zaira and her mother and would have to be removed in order for Zaira to rise as the alpha. Jahero thought this as he hugged his mate. Her soft fur cracking his 'hunters shell'. " We must get you back to the den my love. You are still hurt and i would like you to be as safe as possible" He said moving him self. His back legs somewhat lifted so that he could stand after she got back onto his back. " I will take you unless you would like to try and walk?"

Zaira quickly finished off the fish, seeing that she was taught never to waste, food, she licked her muzzle as best as she could, hugging Jahero back, nuzzling into him some more before she had topull away from him. "I know......i think i would like to walk so in case something happens you won't have to worry about me getting hurt if a fight breaks out." she said with a smile, licking him once more, rubbing the side of her face against his, slowly standing up, shaking her fur out. "Together....for as long as we are breathing." she siad in a happy voice, he back legs were trembling but she didn't let that stop her from wlking with Jahero, after all she is Djinn and Djinn were strong, even if her back legs were weak at the moment. "One of us has to be able to move to fight, let's get back, my mate." she said to him, she felt all giddy inside when she called him that, bursting with excitement and happiness, that you could basically feel it comming off her, she slowly moved towards the den they were stying at.

Jahero followed her with a smile. He walked nexts to her back legs letting them bonce off of him as they waddled from time to time. " What are we to do with the Tribe my love?" he asked. " We have only about 12 other in the pack, and most are not in the prim to fight. Before I left your father was on a killing fair. After the snow tribe killed our pups your father seemed to take over"

"I will have to challenge my father for leadership of the pack. It is the only other thing we can do besides plant a seed in the tribe to get them to trun against him. I will have to heal quickly and bring my strength back up, then i can start to change things." Zaira said to him, she tripped a couple of times and she was making a lot of noise as she walked with him, but that couldn't be helpped when one was injured, not only that they fight that she was inwasn't a fair one,she was ganged up on and didn't stand a chance. "Or we could ask the other tribes to help us just take him down....What do you think?" she asked him as she stood back up again after her legs had given out from under her a few minutes, even some times the dried blood on her legs would crack open and bleed a little bit, but for the most part she was doing a bit better then she had been.

Jahero licked the blood off of her leg, cleaning he injury before answering her. " I would challenge him. It is the best way. The other pack members are do not have the strength to help us at this moment and I dont like the idea of the other tribes helping us. We are going through somethings with them and to show them our ways could turn agents us"

Nieva was lost in thought when Evelina broke her out of her trace. She looked at her then nodded her head, "I'm fine. Really I am fine." she said laying her head in Firestar's fur. A small smile spread across her face as she felt his fur. Firestar looked back at Nieva smiling a little. They arrived at the Snow Tribe's territory and everyone there started to whisper as they saw the Sky Tribe leader carrying their princess. Dewayne and Jeremy's eyes widen as they looked at each other, "Do you think she knows?" Jeremy asked, "I doubt it." Dewayne said looking at the group of wolves that returned. "Do I know what, speak up so I can hear you." Nieva said. "Uhhhh well..." Jeremy and Dewayne said together as they looked at each other thinking if it was a going idea to tell her.

"Your right about that....but we took so much from them...." Zaira said to him as she sighed a little bit, thinking about what Jahero said to her and the options that she had to chose from, she stopped in her tracks for a few minutes before looking at her mate. "I will challenge him when i am well again....but for now we have to keep the tribes from outright killing ours off." she said to him, her ear twitched, she could vaguely hear the Snow tribe up a head of them, which meant thier conversation was safe for now, she smiled as she licked Jahero's cheek before she started to walk once more.

"So what are you planing on doing then my love?" He asked as he watched he for a moment before following her once more (( Hey, Im going to go work on my yard while the weather is nice. ttyl tonight))

"I am going to ask them to just gaurd them self against our people and that i am going to take over leadership of our tribe." Zaira said to him, every time she herd him call her his love, she couldn't help but smile and get a soft look about her face, she licked him once more before leaning against him, her walking had slowed down because of the fact that she was getting tired already but she still pushed her self. |
Jahero smiled as she lend on him. She was trying so hard to walk and he new she was in pain. he allowed her to move past him and then with an easy and fast moment lifted her onto his back again. He smiled at her. " ill take it from her Zaira " he said rapping his tail in hers

"Ah...Jahero.....thank you but i really should walk to keep my strength up." zaira said to him as she smiled softly, she wasn't really putting up a fight, and enjoyed the fact they had thier tails wrapped together, but she did nuzzle into his fur as much as she could even if it wasn't going to last very long once the get to the Snow Tribe den. At least she could be with him for the rest of the life, even if something happens and she isn't the pack leader, or becomes it and can't have Jahero by her side, well she would give it to be with him if she had too.

" You have walked fine, I dont want you to use all of your energy dear. " he said as he walked towards the snow den. The weather was becoming colder. He wanted to get her some place warm as soon as he could. They where only a few minutes from the snow den

"Alright....thank you." Zaira whispered to hiim as she smiled softly, nuzzling him behind his ear before she nipped it lightly, in a loving way. She was happy to be with him so she didn't complain, or struggle or fight with him to much about letting her walk the rest of the way, after all she knew that he was just doing it for her own good, and not only that she did have a habit of pushing her self to far while injured.
