Jay opened his eyes to hear Frankie talking outside his door. She was addressing him, so that must have meant that she heard him crying. Panic spread throughout his chest and tightened his vocal cords, as he tried to figure out what he was supposed to do next. The coils in the mattress squeaked as the lanky vampire sat up and climbed off of the cot. Before he could answer their new member, another voice flowed through the hall; it was Steel. A bitter feeling welled up, but this subsided when Frankie stood up to Steel and the corner of his mouth curved up as a result. A frown reappeared on James’ face because Steel apologized to Frankie, and it sounded like SHE WAS FALLING FOR IT?!!
Jay flung himself onto his bed after slapping his hand onto his face. He fell through the bed and growled incoherently. Pulling himself out of the broken cot, he dusted himself off and stalked out of his room. James mumbled angrily as he wandered through the halls. His pace began to pick up speed as he ventured further through the house until he was running until he came across Steel. “Where do you get off calling me ‘unstable’? Huh? You think you can say whatever the hell you want? Just because you are a vampire doesn’t make you indestructible,” he shouted callously. |
((BAHA! Best post ever. I lol'd so hard. <3))
---------- Julian easily swatted the rod out of his way with ease and swung his. Hitting Frankie straight in the ribs. He smiled humbly at Frankie when she guessed his age. Both his age he tells people, and the age he really is. "Very well done." he said, pulling the rod away from her, leaning on it "It's fair if you know how to block them out. We already know you've been doing what you do for quite some time. And I hear you've already had visitors here in the Mansion." said Julian, smirking at Frankie. He knew a lot of things that happened in the mansion that the others didn't know about. Julian has eyes and ears all over the place. When you think you're by yourself, you're really not. Frankie fell to the ground clutching her ribs from where Julian had hit her, trying desperately to catch her breath. She managed to get herself to her feet, barely hanging on to the weapon she'd been given. She coughed a few times, spitting out some blood. A rage filled up inside her, she wasn't even listening to his words anymore. She was blind with anger. Suddenly, she dropped her weapon and charged at Julian, she kicked the rod out of his hands, and her fist went flying out and hit him in the center of his chest, sending him flying backwards through a set of doors, a loud bang echoed through the house and the sound of impenetrable plexy glass windows rattled. Curious, Frankie ran after him, a worried look in her eye. She'd never hit anyone like that before. Not hard enough to send them flying. She wandered through the door to see a room that looked more like a place for training, and there were windows all the way around, except for where the door was. She blinked and looked at the windows. All empty. At least they were along. Frankie turned her attention back to the doors where she heard a faint yell for someone, sounded to her like Jay, yelling at Steel. She furrowed her brows and focused on what they were yelling about. She couldn't read someones mind unless they were right in front of her, if she tried it would all show up in her mind like blur and static. She had stopped paying attention to Julian, which was a mistake on her part. Julian had already gotten up, with a sinister smile on his face. He certainly wasn't expecting that at all. He figured out that Frankie was a better hand to hand combat fighter than with weapons, well, if that's how she wants to play the game, that's how they would play it. Julian then ran, lunging in Frankie's direction, fists out... |
Steel just patted Jay on the head and smiled. "Well boy your just proving my point." he said softly. He then heard the thud up against the wall. Steel looked at Jay. "Lets help her out shall we?" He asked Jay. Hoping that what ever was going on he could stop Julian from hurting Frankie. He walked he opened the door to see Julian coming down on Frankie. "Jay watch. She seems really strong for where she's at. Maybe you could learn something from her." he said with a smile. Most of the time Steel was an ass hole to most people, but he was really bad with Jay.
|
Frankie then turned around to find Julian after him She blinked, unsure what to do. Her body said jump, so that's what she did. Frankie's small body leapt into the air, up and over Julian, she used Julian's back as a stepping stone to get back to the ground, the pressure from her coming down caused Julian to fall to his knees. Frankie stumbled to gain her balance as she looked back to Julian "What's the point of this. I've taken Self defense classes. I'm just not very good with weapons. I hate weapons. If I could be a pacifist! I totally would!" she said, waving her arms out front of her, her white eyes glittered a light yellow briefly and a pain in her stomach returned. She groaned, falling to her knees, taking a deep breath. Julian grunted as a foot made contact with his back. dropping to his knees, he chuckled and shook his head "You're a lot more skilled than I thought you were. I think--" he was cut off and he looked back at Frankie who was curled on the floor. She was hungry. And he knew it. If they didn't feed her, she was going to go on a rampage, and Julian knew that wouldn't be good. He got up and wandered over, picking Frankie up and cradling her in his arms. Her size, she was like a doll in his arms, her eyes were closed and she looked as thought she were sleeping. And as much as he hated to admit it, she was beautiful. |
Jay glared at Steel angrily, but a sound caused him to freeze. "I'm not crazy, so kiss my ass buddy," he snarled viciously before running after the bane of his existence. He wasn't sure if he'd heard the arrogant vampire correctly. "What is your problem? You are willing to risk her safety, you are a horrible creator," he roared. Frankie's leap, as well as her plummet, caused James to take a deep breath. "She is a-amazing," he muttered to himself quietly. A brief moment of anxiety made its cameo appearance when he realized that she was hungry, he knew the damage a fresh vampire could dish out. There were horrid memories that even a vampire shouldn't have to experience, but Jay did. He followed behind Julian silently, just in case his help was required.
|
Frankie wrapped her arms close around Julian's neck, cringing every 15 seconds from the pain. "What's happening..." she said in a wheezing tone. Frankie let herself relax, her head falling back and Jay catching her eye. She half smiled, her white eyes had lost all pupils now "Are you feeling better..." she asked him with a crooked smile. "I hope so.." she said, closing her eyes. "Whyyy does it hurt so much.." she pouted sadly, bringing a hand to her forehead, pushing her hair back out of her face. Her head began pounding again and she let out a loud moan. "Where's Steel..." she asked blankly. Julian cocked a curious brow at what she'd asked, and he took a quick glance behind him "Well, hello, Jay. It's good to see you." he said with a soft chuckle. "I see you've already met our newest arrival." he said, sort of cringing himself everytime Frankie's grip tightened around his neck. Julian shushed Frankie and tried to reassure her "You'll be fine. You gotta be a little tougher from now on." he said, almost coldly. They came up to a room, it was like an Infirmary. Julian kicked the door open, walking in and holding it open for Jay. "Come in." he said, walking to a bed and placing Frankie upon it, watching her curl into the fetal position, groaning again. |
Steel growled as he watched as Julian took Frankie. He felt as though in that one action Julian was taking her away from him. He followed after them, and walked into the in Infirmary. The door had closed behind Jay, Steel was getting heated the more he thought about the other two being close to her. He made himself calm down as he stood beside her, he gently took her by the hand. "I'm here Frankie." he said softly.
Luna sat at her desk, She had the whole lab to herself. "Mines!" she called out, though she was still looking down at papers. "Mines!!!! Where are you." she said as she looked up from the papers, and not to her surprise a good sided ferret with a medal eye came out. "Yes Luna." he said back. Though the only way if could talk was threw a mind link Luna made for the two of them. Mines was her pet long before the vamp came and took her family, so she only found it fit, to make the small animal to talk. She gently put the ferret. "I was worried about you." she said softly. The Ferret curled around her neck "I'm fine Luna I was just hungry." he said softly. Luna petted his head and handed him some fruit. "You need to stay away from the top." she said. "You still have fresh blood." she said. "Let me go for the both of us. I would hate to lose you." she said softly. "Your all I have left." She said softly. Luna grabbed some medal and began to teanker around with it. She had drew up some plans to make a light beam from water. Luna was almost positive it was going to work, now she just had to build it. Nothing could stand against the humans if she did this. |
Jay nodded to his “brother” and a nervous chuckle erupted from his throat when Frankie addressed him. “O-oh I’m fine, thank you. Y-you are t-t-truly selfless to t-think about another a-at a time like this. M-most vampires w-would try to rip apart w-whatever limb was r-r-reachable,” he stammered. When he noticed that Steel wasn’t present in the room, a mischievous grin stretched across the skittish bloodsucker’s face. No doubt the sensual magnet that was Steel would be pissed that he couldn’t be with his vampiric creation. His torture was James’s gain and he was relishing it to no end. Suddenly he remembered the enormous tunnel that ran through the mansion and his sharp eyes zoned in on Frankie. “If I may ask, was it you who damaged the walls? That was a dimwitted inquiry, of course you did. The dimension and angle of the gapping channel shows that it came from your direction,” he said through a series of rapid-fire.
|
Frankie smiled as Jay spoke. She thought it was positively adorable how he stuttered when he spoke. She shook her head "I was pissed." she said, her body lay stiff on the bed that Julian had placed her on. She'd noticed Julian had walked into a back room and had been back there for a few minutes. Frankie's eyes stayed locked on Jay and her smile faded "I'm sorry for ruining that room..." she said with sad eyes, the pain in her stomach pierced all over again and she cringed again, now gasping to catch a full breath. But the pain had crawled all over her body, leaving it impossible to breathe. Frankie reached out, taking her hand from Steel's and snatched Jay's hand, gripping tightly to help ease the pain. "I'm sorry you were sad..." she said softly, that was half the reason she was holding his hand. She felt close to Jay already, as he was right there, Steel at her other side, but her other hand grasping her stomach. A growl emerged from her chest out of frustration. "I hate this..." she said darkly, turning her body, now fully facing Jay. She gulped down, looking up at him with eyes full of pain. "Thanks.." she said lightly, the growl still rumbling in her chest. Julian was in a room where large amounts of blood was stored. He wasn't sure which he would give her. There were several kinds, and they all had different effects, much like alcohol. Julian grabbed a cup and shook his head "This will have to do." he said to himself, turning and opening the door, only opening it a crack to see that Frankie had been holding Jay's hand, and Julian eyed the two suspiciously, half smiled and walked out. "You will have to drink this to make the pain go away." Julian said, standing at the end of the bed, at Frankie's feet. Julian looked between Steel and Jay, smirking deviously to himself, his eyes locked on Steel, Julian handed Jay the jar of blood. "Help her, Jay. Please." he said, Julian's word was always final. |
Steel watched as Frainkes hand left his, he just watched unable to do anything about it. He watched as she placed her hand into Jays hand, it was at that point he could no longer hear the words that came out of her mouth. Could it be that James caught her 'heart' for a lack of a better word. Steel look over at Jay and bore his fangs. "She is mine." he softly whispered. It wasn't about owning her, Steel truly loved Frankie. It was in that moment that Julian came out with the bottel of blood, when he handed it to Jay Steel growled, "Fine!" he yelled. He turned his back to the three of them and left the room. He walked down the hall, wondering if Frankie would even come back to him. Steel walked into his room and grabbed his guitar, he then took it to the wall shattering it to a million bits. He couldn't even see strait, yes he wanted Frankie safe at all cost, but she was part of him.... wasn't she.
Luna sat there thinking about how to put this together. "Any Ideas?" she asked her pet. "Luna dear I'm not as smart as you give me credit." he said, his voice a smooth whisper in her head. Luna nodded, "Okay lets take a brake and get some food." she said softly. It was in that moment a young boy about at the age of twelve came in there room. "I brought you and Mines some food." he said with a smile. He had short blond hair and bright blue eyes, he wore a ragged brown shirt that was falling to pieces, he pants where in a bit of better shape, drawn at the waist with a small rope, his shoes where tattered and he feet a mess, but little Kegan would always bring food for the two of them, for he was the only one who didn't think Luna was crazy. Luna gently patted the boys hair. "where you careful?" she asked with a smile. "Always!" Kegan said. |
Jay shook his head in disbelief. Never has there been a vampire as strong as Frankie, not at this early stage anyway. She took hold of his hand and he nearly jumped out of his skin. "W-what are you doing," he asked, mystified. His eyes were wide with anxious curiosity. "Y-y-your hunger is i-increasing. If n-not taken care of, y-you'll begin to e-eat yourself for n-nourishment." He thought it would be better to let her know the result of malnourishment. Whispering in a low tone, James brought the jar to Frankie's lips gently and tilted it, "Don't g-guzzle it all down, y-you'll want to save some for later." A sly grin formed when the discomfort that Steel showed was apparent. It served him right for being so self-confident in his ability.
|
Frankie watched as Steel stormed off and rolled her eyes slightly as Jay brought the jar to her lips. The contents smelled absolutely delicious and it made her white eyes swirl with excitement. The dark red blood hit her lips and she took a large gulp, sitting up, wrapping her hand around Jay's as he held the jar up to her lips, still. Frankie used her other hand to prop herself up on the bed. She watched as Julian walked away, leaving Jay and Frankie by themselves. Frankie took another large gulp, leaving half the jar left. Frankie pulled away and wiped her lips. She turned herself and let her legs dangle over the side of th ebed, right next to Jay. The blood made the pain in her stomach go away, and th epupils from her eyes grew back and took over her eye. Her eyes were a deep black with a thin white line surrounding it. She looked up at Jay and bit her bottom lip. Something inside her made her feel so alive, she assumed it was the blood that she just drank. Frankie then knocked the jar out of his hand, grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled him in, pressing her lips hard against his. She didn't know what she was doing, when not even a few hours ago, Steel had pulled the same move on her. Julian walked out of the room, leaving the two by themselves. He then wandered up the mass amounts of stairs and stood outside Steel's room. He heard something smash and couldn't help but chuckle to himself. He knocked lightly, waiting for Steel to answer. |
Steel heard the knock on the door, he didn't want to go get, for he could sence his master on the other side. He growled, and walked to the door. "Yes." was all he said as he opened it and looked out to Julian. All Steel wanted was to be loved, "Yes Master." he spoke softly and calmly. When he was upset with Julian he would call him master.
Luna looked into the boys eyes and gently smiled. "You shouldn't be out there." she told him as she took the food. "Thank you Kegan. You sure are braver then most of the humans like you." she said softly. Kegan smiled, "Well you need to eat to you know." he said as he sat down beside her. "What are you working on?" he asked looking down at the plans. Luna smiled and looked down at the plans. "This is the end of the vampires, if I can get it to work." she said lightly. Kegans face went sour. "Vampires aren't bad. Its the Vampyre that are bad." he said as all three of them began to eat. |
Jay felt serene while feeding Frankie. Something about her made him calm, but objectively nervous about being in such a useful position. Everything was quiet as she took large swigs of blood by the second. The feeling of their skin coming into contact shocked him. One of his eyes twitched swiftly, but he remained close to the young woman. Frankie began to climb out of the bed and he tried to stop her from moving around too much. "H-hey, what are you doing? You n-n-need to lay do-" he was cut off when she launched herself at him. His eyes rolled back and he was beginning to push her away, but he couldn't bear to. Slumping down onto the bed, he placed his hands on her waist and kissed her passionately. This was his first kiss.
|
[[YAY! HAPPENED JUST LIKE I WROTE IT! WOOO!]] Frankie felt him try to pull away, then relax. She felt good when his hand landed on her waist. When she pulled away, she had a sorry look in her eyes and blinked. "I'm sorry... "she said, lowering her head in shame. Frankie fiddled with her finger nails, in an attempt to avoid any and all eye contact with Jay. She gulped down again, looking over to the shattered glass of blood that had exploded on the floor and wall. The aroma of the blood filled the room, made it almost romantic to be where they were. Frankie looked back to her nails, and then looked up at Jay with sad eyes, her lip twitching, almost wanting to kiss him again. The passion that went into it was something Frankie had never felt before. Julian cocked his brow at Steel and smiled. "Don't get too attached." he said with a smirk. "Why do you think I said that?" he asked him, crossing his arms and standing straight up, looking into Steel's eye. "You turned her. Your bond is unbreakable. But, even though she's got no heart. She's going to follow what she feels inside. Whether it be you. Or someone else." said Julian. Julian said someone, not Jay. |
Jay kept his hand on her waist. His usually quick mind moved sluggishly. The impact of Frankie's kis was engraved in his brain and he wanted more. Reality began to set in and it was then that he realized that he couldn't take what wasn't his. "No, I-I'm sorry. I-I apreciate you ... I should be ashamed of m-myself for not respecting Steel and your ... relationship," he said ruefully. His gaze droppedto his lap and his hands quaked, but part of James was glad that she'd over stepped his boundary. It gave him a little more bravery as well as feel like maybe there was still a chance that just MAYBE he could be with the beautiful mistress.
|
Frankie shook her head "Steel..." she said and sighed "I don't even wanna talk about that..." she said, bringing her hand to her head, pulling her hair back out of stress. "He's acting so immature.." she said, letting her hand fall to her lap, it sliding off and landing on Jay's. She looked over at him and half smiled, but her smile faded at the thought of Steel "He.. He doesn't treat you very well, does he..." she said lightly, trying to make eye contact with him. Frankie's eyes were still black, the blood she'd drank was still racing through her, and she was sure if she had a heart mit'd be racing, if not from the blood, than from Jay. Frankie bit her bottom lip and leaned into Jay, the tip of her nose touching his, she brought a hand to his cheek and smiled weakly "Don't worry about Steel.." she whispered. |
Steel looked up at his master his eyes still screaming out in hate. He got up from the bed he W's sitting in. "I wont lose her." His eyes norrowed in a frown. He loved her more then anything, and would do anything for that love back. He needed to get out of the house for a bit. "I'm going to level." He spoke softly. "I'll be back before the fight." He said as he walked out of the room. Steel walked down the hall passed the infirmary, his eyes light up when he saw Frankie, but when he saw her touch James leg he left without a word to either them. All he took were the clothes on his back.
|
Jay listened sadly to Frankie talk, but he understood the pain that was emanating from her. "I-It's fine, y-y-you don't h-have to talk about it," he whispered sympathetically. He watched her muss her hair quietly and this brought a sliver of satisfaction for him. Never had a woman seem to take an interest in him. "H-He can be a little c-crude. N-Normally, I-I get the brunt of h-h-his abuse," he said, through his teeth. Destroying Steel was easy, his behavior was self-destructive. There was no point in bad-mouthing him, it was better to tell the truth. James' jaw softened and hiseyes targeted Frankie's hand when it fell on his lap. A ripple spread throughout his body as she drew closer to his face. Jay closed his eyes as she cupped his cheek and spoke to him. "A-a-Are you sure? G-G-Girls never give up the j-jock for the nerd," he stated with a shaky laugh.
|
Frankie looked down, and ended up resting her head on his shoulder "I have a feeling Steel is always going to be there. Regardless." she said with a small sigh "He seems to be the incredibly, suffocatingly jealous type... I'm not sure how well I can handle that..." she admitted, looking up at Jay with her soft white eyes. His stutter was adorable and only seemed to get worse when he was nervous. "You don't have to be so nervous around me, Jay..." she said to him, half chuckling. "I'm not really anything special to get nervous about." said Frankie, lifting her head up and kissing his cheek. Frankie hopped off the bed, clutching his hand "Why don't you show me around..." she said, tilting her head curiously to the side "Pleeaasseee.." she mouthed to him. |
Jay placed an arm around Frankie's shoulder as she rested on him. He took in the young vampire's words, feeling a little at ease. Her scent filled nostrils and he shuddered lightly, enjoying the sweet smell. "I-I guess he does h-have that quality. C-Can't say I-I envy him there," he said dismissively. A chuckle escaped his lips and James shook his head at what Frankie said. "I-i-It's not you, F-Frankie. I-I'm just a n-nervos wreck by nature. I-I wish I c-could be a l-little more o-o-outgoing," he stuttered, with a good-natured grin. Jay dropped his arm until it touched hers and he gave it a gentle squeeze, Looking up at the ceiling, a sigh broke out when she downplayed herself. "Y-You are m-more important than y-y-you know." Accepting her kiss, his chest swelled and Jay followed her through the house pointing out every important room to him. He stopped at the library, his favorite room. "T-This is my f-favorite room of all time," he said calmly.
|
Frankie smiled and clutched Jay's pinky with hers. She wasn't really much of a hand holder, when she did, it made her relatively uncomfortable. When Jay showed her the library, her eyes lit up. She loved books and history. She blinked, looking over at him with a smile that could light up the entire house. Letting go of his pinky, she pranced in through the doors and looked at how big the library really was. It was like magic, how big it was. It was tall and very old victorian style library "Wow... " she exclaimed, blinked at all the aisles. |
Jay smiled at the fact that his and Frankie’s fingers were intertwined with each other. Even if it wasn’t much contact, it was more that what he was used to when it came to a gentle touch. The look in her eyes caused James to smile happily at the joy she was experiencing. The room was stacked with books, ranging from various fields and interests. There were also large windows, which were draped behind huge navy blue curtains. “I-It’s an amazing place, isn’t it? I l-love being in here, it g-gives me a sense of u-u-usefulness,” he said, staring at the shelves. His eyes were redirected to Frankie and he studied her features carefully and intently. It was perplexing how beautiful she was to James. He felt a little creepy watching her for so long, letting his eyes fall to the floor and asked bashfully, “Is there any book that you might like to read? The collection is just about unfathomable.”
|
Frankie smiled as she listened to Jay "You'd be surprised at how much I've read..." she said, looking over at him. "Maybe not as much as you..." she said. Frankie had been reading Jay the entire time they were together. She walked behind a shelve, watching him, she winked and smiling lightly before completely disappearing behind the shelf. She traced her finger along the spines of a few books, looking up and down the shelves that littered the tall book shelf. She bit her bottom lip and read most of the titles. She had actually read quite a few of the books that were actually there. |
Jay tittered at how matter-of-factly Frankie brought up how much she read. “Y-y-You probably have and you p-probably haven’t. I-I’ve read a f-few books,” he said modestly. His eyes were sharp as he watched every detail about her, taking in all noticeable bits of her body language. This was an advantage for him since he could determine what his opponents would do in a fight, just by studying their fighting style and gestures. A fanged grin was flashed in Frankie’s direction and he ran around the other side of the aisle until he could see her from the opposite end. “T-This section is d-dedicated to the behavior of n-n-newly turned vampire and the h-history of the f-first recorded v-vampire. I-I’ve barely scratched the s-surface of it,” he stated informatively.
