Sora looked at Roxas as he said,"I am sorry for laughing at you. Besides, you should tell Axel that you like him, so then at least he knows that you like him. A name is just a thing, it's the person that is behind the name that makes the person. Trust me you will be fine."
Axel found his way back to the house as he tethered Flame to a tree, again. Walking into the house again he spied Sora and the other person who was masquerading as Sora as he said,"Sora, are you ready to go?" |
Roxas nodded, knowing that Sora did have a point. But he couldn't tell Axel how he felt. Especially not since he was pretending to be Sora, who liked Riku. It would ruin the brunette's chances if the silverette found out about it. He opened his mouth to reply, but his words caught in his throat when Axel came in. He turned towards the redhead and nodded. "Yeah. I'm ready. Let's go."

Axel looked at the two boys as he said,"It looks like I am interrupting something here. Do you two want to continue your chat or anything?" The red head wasn't trying to pry into the blonde's life, but also was curious on what the two of them had been talking about. "I have some royal official duties to attend to if the two of you want to stay here for a bit." He felt bad, and a little irresponsible for leaving the blonde there unguarded, he was a prince after all, but he also knew that the two of them were capable of taking care of themselves and listening to directions.

Roxas glanced over at Sora for a second. As much as he wouldn't have minded if they continued their chat, he did want to spend some more time with Axel before they got back to the castle. Who knew when the next time they could spend together again. He shook his head slowly, turning his attention back to Axel. "It's fine. I'm read to leave." he said, hoping Sora would understand.

Axel nodded as he untethered Flame and handed the reigns of "Sora's" horse back over to him as he got onto his own horse and turned him backwards towards the castle where they would get there and stay there for the remainder of the night.

Roxas grabbed onto the reins of the horse hesitantly for a second. He took a deep breath before pulling himself up onto the horse. He was glad that he managed to get up on his first try and didn't end up looking like an idiot. He smiled lightly at Axel as he turned his horse in the direction of the castle as well, ready to leave.

As they were trotting on their horses Axel looked to the blonde and said," So why were you out here by yourself." Axel trotted his horse forward and blocked the blonde from going any farther as he looked at the blonde with concern on his fine features. "You know you're not supposed to be out here on your own."

Roxas frowned for a second when Axel blocked his horse and he pulled on the reins on his own horse. He shrugged, not sure how exactly he was supposed to answer the question. "I know.. I'm sorry." he said. His mind was racing for some kind of excuse he could use. "... I just felt crowded in the castle and wanted some fresh air by myself."

Axel listened to what the blonde was saying as he went back to riding next to him. "Believe me I understand that feeling. More than you are aware." Axel thought back, fondly, to when he had been younger. During his lessons he would randomly leave to go about town and travel throughout the city dodging the dignitaries and the guards that were constantly looking for him. Axel saw it as a game, always a game. Besides, it gave the guards something to do other than stand around. Glancing forward the castle came into view.

Roxas was glad that Axel had accepted his excuse so quickly. That saved him the trouble of having to think of something else. He kept his gaze on the ground, glad that his body was finally able to start relaxing on the horse. "... Well.. I'm sorry if I worried you in any way." he said. The last thing he wanted was for Axel to be worrying about him. But his excuse did have some truth to it. He missed being able to run free through the streets of town without having to worry about someone trying to kill him because they thought he was a prince.

Walking under the arch he nodded at the guard who nodded back at him as he straightened his posture in front of the king. Axel smiled, he knew that the guard had been asleep, it amused him to no end at the people in front of him. He looked back at Sora and said,"It's getting rather late, and I think we should both retire for the night." Axel, still on his horse, bent over and kissed Sora gently on the cheek.

It was actually kind of amusing to watch the way people acted around Axel. It was very obvious that the guard they had passed had been asleep. The blond hoped that he wasn't going to be punished because of it. But Axel didn't seem like the type of person to give out punishment for something as small as that. A blush spread across Roxas' face before he could stop it when he felt the redhead kiss him. He nodded slowly, trying to get the blush to go away, but failing at it. "You're right.." he said, even though he wasn't really tired.

Axel leaned back and smirked at the blonde as he saw the blush slowly spread across his fine features. "Are you actually tired at all?" asked Axel.

Roxas shook his head, keeping his attention away from Axel. "No. Not really." he admitted. He probably was just going to go back to his room and find something to occupy his time until he was tired. Or he could hunt down Riku and they could do something. After all, he had to at least act like he liked the silverette.

Axel smiled mischievously at the blonde as they made their way to the stables. He got off his horse and then stood waiting to help the blonde off of his own. "Want to spend some more time with me around the castle?"

Roxas didn't notice the smile on Axel's face. If he had, he would have been hesitant to be around the redhead at all. But he didn't see it, so he nodded as he accepted Axel's help off the horse. "That sounds good to me." he said, smiling lightly at the offer.

Axel was glad that the blonde said that he had wanted to be with the red head some more. He caught Sora with ease as he let the boy down to the ground before getting both of the horses back in the stables. Turning to the blonde he said,"So ya, what do you want to do?"

Roxas thought for a moment. What could they do to have fun in the castle? He shrugged as he watched Axel put the horses up. "I don't know. Anything would be fine by me." he said. That was true. He was just happy to have the chance to spend some time with Axel, just the two of them. He hoped no-one would come along later to ruin that time.

Axel nodded his head when he heard the blonde in front of him talk. There wasn't much that they could do since it was getting darker, and the bandits were beginning to roam the countryside, or so his informants told him, so they had to stay within the safety of the castle. "We could go to the large open air baths," said Axel as he looked at the blonde. "I haven't had a good soak in a while, and don't worry it will be just the two of us, and we will be wearing towels." He said the last part with a laugh."

Roxas thought over what Axel had suggested. The open air bath did sound rather relaxing... But the thought of both of them being there, naked, made a blush form on his face for a second. Thankfully though, he was able to get rid of it rather quickly. He took a deep breath to calm his sudden nerves as he nodded with a smile on his face. "That sounds good to me." he said. And since he didn't know where the open air baths were, he added,"Lead the way."

Axel nodded as he took the blonde's hand in his own leading the way back to Sora's room. "I will meet you back here in about a half an hour, and then we can walk there together." There are towels in your bathroom, along with shampoo and other things. See you soon." Axel walked away down the hallway towards his own room to go collect the necessary items for a bath."[/B]

Roxas nodded as he was led to Sora's room. He stepped into the room, a blush spreading on his face again now that Axel was gone and he gathered his things quickly. He took slow, deep breaths to calm his racing heart and wipe the blush of his face. By the time to meet with Axel had come around, the blush was gone and he was ready to go. He smiled lightly when he seen the redhead. "You ready?" he asked.

Axel made his way back to his room as he grabbed the items that he needed before changing into something a little more comfortable. He left the room again and walked back towards Sora's room as he looked at the blonde. "Yup," he said. "Let's be off then shall we."

Roxas nodded as he smiled. "Yeah. Let's go." he said, waiting for Axel to lead the way since he had no idea where the bath was. He was sure that he might have passed it once or twice during his many walks throughout the castle halls, but he wasn't too sure and he did NOT want to end up getting himself lost and end up looking like an idiot.

Axel took a winding path, made two left turns, and then two rights, and then went straight. As he opened the door he was greeted by the smell of fresh water and steam. Walking into the room he said,"Welcome to the open air baths,"
