And I think January would be a fine time to have it. You will get complaints that it isn't in the summer but I think this time is fine too.

Anyhows, I wish I could confirm and say I wanna host the lounge/hangout thread, but January 2012 is a wee bit difficult for me. @[email protected];; Mostly because my thesis period for my final year in university is from November 2011 to March 2012, so I can't say exactly how active I'll be at that time. >.<;;

It has to be plotted out at least three months ahead of time doesn't it? -sort of skimmed the User run event guide thing- Spring/Summer/Fall of 2011 could still work out.

Unfortunately I'm not sure I will be around all spring.
My internet at home could be getting cut off because I'm the only money-maker in the house right now. (And I can't afford rent/utilities/internet AND food for two people.)
If it's in the summer or fall, I would have enough time to reorganize and have set things up again, but this spring is not an option for me, unless I want to risk shit getting bailed on last minute and having to hand the whole project to someone else.

I'm still good with the list of possible months I suggested in the original thread. =)
But yeah, I think since monstahh is the main proprietor of this, the timing should be extra considerate of her hours, lolz. xDD;; <3<3

You would be suprised. When I first started planning the event I'm planning now I had set it for August or sometime around there but more then half the people I talked to complained that it wouldn't be in the summer.

But I agree I think it is silly. And I think spreading them out is great.

Well if you want to move this to this year I wouldn't have it near the last week in June since that is when mine will be. Holding too many user events right next to each other isn't a good thing.

I also also make note that Ry wants to host the lounge, if she can. And I don't think running the hangout would be an "as big" deal, because it's not like you're running a game, which has to be run a round every day, and then prizes sent out daily, ect.

Does Bikinis count? If so, I might be in on this event. :D!

@monstah: i would love to host the contest. i host mine and its super fun. i dont know what other threads there would be either and i think that i am best kept the the AC stuff since thats what i do on mene for the most part. if thats ok
