Chad smiled as he got closer and stopped infront of her, "hey, alexi, what are you doing out this late and up in that castle. I thought it was abandoned." he said as he looked at her.

Alexi sighed softly when he stopped her and she glanced up at him, "It is, and why does it matter what I was doing? Now would you kindly move so that I can return home?"

Chad smiled at her, "aw dont be like that, why dont I take you to get you something to eat? and it matters since to me your very interesting." he said.

Alexi had to resist the urge to slap this guy as she tried to move around him, "No thank you.. I've already eaten and I've got to be getting home."

Chad smiled at her, "then how about if I walk you home." he said happily and held out a hand so that he could walk with her.

She took a slow and steady breath, "It's fine Chad.. Really.. I'll see you at school." She moved around his outstretched hand and proceeded to head home, wanting to get away from Chad as quickly as possible. Alexi did not want to be associated with someone like Chad when Adam was just a couple minutes away from her

Chad frowned when she walked around him and he watched her go. He glared at her slither and muttered to himself, "you will be mine." and then he turned and started to walk home.

Alexi was glad when Chad let her go and she made her way home, she immediately went onto her computer and began to make invitations for the ball, insuring that she mentioned that the theme was 'Cursed'. She printed them all out, which ate all her ink and paper... No matter!
She looked at her clock and saw that it was one in the morning, so deciding that she had made enough invitations she set off to bed, where she fell asleep almost as soon as her head hit the pillow.

When morning came Alexi got up and dressed, ate a rather large breakfast. Then she grabbed her bag with invitations inside and set off to spread the news

Adam went straight to work cleaning his castle for the Ball. Every inch of the palace had to be perfect just incase someone came in and wondered around. The ballroom and library were already in good condition and looked to be ready. He just had to work on everything else and by the time that three in the morning rolled by everything was. it looked to be as if it was back in the day when he was born. The inside would take away anyones breath and he had managed to make the outside of the castle look just as appealing. He smiled at his work and then yawned slightly. Slowly he made his way towards the bedroom and soon fell asleep in bed. He was still asleep even when the sun came up, he was to tired to do anything.

Alexi went to school and wasted no time at starting to pass out the invitations, she made sure to give mostly everyone invitations. The only people she did not give invitations too is Chad and his little groupies. She made sure that everyone knew the theme was cursed, and that the host would be going with the theme as well. No questions were asked which made her feel even better.
Though word of a ball spread quickly and soon almost the whole town knew of it.. Including Chad and his posse.
Alexis had done her best to avoid Chad all day, but after school she saw him and his posse hanging out outside

Chad smiled when he saw alexi come out and his one lacky looked at him, "are you sure you want her?" he asked and Chad nodded, "yes, she is the one." he said and then walked over to her. He smiled at her, "hey, I heard aboutthis ball and I wondered if you might want to go with me? You could be my princess and I could be your prince." he said as he looked at her and smiled.

Alexi stopped walking when Chad spoke to her, she looked back at him and brushed some hair out of her face, "I have a date." She told him cooly, then continued walking, a smirk on her face

Chads mouth dropped open and couldn't believe that she wouldn't go with him. Most girls would drop any date for him. So what made this girl and dude she was goin with any different. He then ran after her, "who are you going with?maybe I know him." he said as he smiled at her. He would find out who this guy was and get him to drop this thing he had with alexi.

Alexi's smirk vanished when he ran after her, "It's no one you know, he's from out of town." She told him, picking up her pace a little bit.

Chad watched her go and continued to follow, "maybe you can introduce me to him when we are at the ball." he said and would make sure that the guy left her alone.

Alexi glanced at him, "No.." She told him flatly. If Chad showed up at the ball then that would be a rather large issue, "And I don't remember ever giving you an ivitation."

Chad smiled at her, "you didn't, but word got out and I will be there. Maybe I will met this guy then." he said and smiled at her, "see you then." he said as he started to walk to his house.

She glared at him a bit before she made her way to the castle, she pushed open the metal gate and the familiar creaking sound was heard, then she pushed the great wooden doors opened and she walked inside, the sheer change and beauty on the inside took the breath from her, "Oh my." She smiled and looked around, "Adam?"

Adam woke up when he heard her call him and shot out of bed. He headed down the stairs and looked a little dishovled but it looked good on him. He smiled when he saw her, "hey, what do you think? I fixed up everything." hesaid as he walked over to her. He was still slightly tired but better. That would be the last time he worked that late Ito the night.

Alexi noticed how messy he looked and couldn't help but giggle a little, "It looks wonderful." She said, looking around, "I passed the word around about the ball and it seems that many people will attend."

Adam smiled when he heard this, "this is great, I knew this would be a great idea." he said as he smiled at her. He couldnt' wait to see her, she would look like a princess. "would you like to see the rest of it, I made sure that every room looked like it once did." he said happily.

"I would love to see it." She looked up at him, "Well, lead the way, Your Majesty." She said in a playful tone

Adam chuckled when he heard her and then held put a hand, "then come, my princess, and I will show you everything." he said as he smiled at her. She would love everything and he couldn't wait to see her face.

She blushed and placed her hand in his, Adam knew how to make a girl blush! As they walked she remembered Chad and felt that it would be fair to warn Adam of him, "Hey Adam? I know you said you can handle any man.. But there is one that may be coming that I feel you should be warned about.."

Adam smiled when she took his hand and he started to lead her around the castle. everything was beautiful and made you feel as if you were back in the day of castles. But when he heard her he smiled, "dont worry, I can handle him." he said softly and gently squeezed her hand to reasure her.
