And yes we do need to fill out profiles and the reason I gave Tamaki and Haruhi their own girls is even though they might be be going out they haven't exactly come out with it yet. I thought it would add drama if there were two other girls (or maybe a cross dressing guy in Haruhi's case) had to vi for their attentions. or it might be over kill. I have no clue.

I don't think anybody should be with Haruhi. It's not like she pays to much attention to people anyway.

i agree with Neko. Haruhi doesn't seem to pick up on that type of things And i do not have any objections with the OC character. It could add some flavor

I'm cool with an oc. As for the "nicer and toned down" kind of person, I didn't mean in terms of being a lesser to Kyoya, I meant in as in not being wild and rambuctious but calm and cool. I do think he needs some one nice though, his family brings so much negativity and expectation, he needs someone to help him relax once in a while. Renge is just to overpowering and forceful of a personality.

Well true, but depending on the type of person you try pairing Haruhi with it could bring up some funny events. Like through the series Tamaki kept trying to become friends (understatement I think!) with Haruhi but she just shot him down. And he didn't give up. His stunts at gaining her attention just became wilder and funnier. Also in the end of the anime it almost seemed like Tamaki and Haruhi were together. It depends on the viewers opinion. But seriously I think the end of the show seemed pretty lovey dovey to me. So maybe if Tamaki sees another person trying to take his Haruhi away he'll do something extremely excessive. And maybe (not likely but maybe) Haruhi will feel something seeing another girl flirting with Tamaki? Ahh! I have all these ideas in my head but half of them either don't fit with the characters themselves or they're just too elaborate. How do I organize them all?

I wouldn't mind if Haruhi was with Bossa Nova. I just don't want her with another girl.

actually i think Haruhi would do something if another girl hit on him because in the anime series at the end she does get jealous and does something crazy to bring him back

I've seen the anime but I have yet to get about to reading the manga yet. Although her name does sound familiar..man its been a while since I've seen the anime. Anime-only. Her family is some other rich French family with good connections, and by association, knows Tamaki's grandma. The other thing is that Tamaki's mom actually works for her (Eclair's family).

I don't think Haruhi was necessarily jealous of Eclair, but she does realize that she has feelings for Tamaki.

Hmm..maybe we could bring her in at some later point in the rp? Because right now it seems like we've got enough people to stir up some drama. But once things have settled down some (anyone else notice the irony of the host club actually settling down and being calm?) we could bring her in and stir up some more trouble. Ok so we've got our characters all lined up. Now we just need to make a semi plot and come up with some profiles and rules. Right? If I missed something please let me know. ^^

Just thought of something, we should probably establish a template for our profiles to make things easier in that respect.

Also, when bookwormiam and I first started mulling over this idea we threw out ths possibility of the girl's creating thier own club of some kind, a form of competition for the guys...though not sure how pretty girl's and pretty guys can compete seeing as thier demographics are completely different. What do people think?

it's always more fun to have them develop in the RP. Even more fun if the girl's were in a rival club, it would stir stuff up really well.
