'I can't believe that.' Kalin replied. 'He turned me in to the cops. I got arrested and wound up in the facility. I saw him talking to that cop.'
At the same time he replied, he was finding that his conviction in that conclusion was wavering. For the first time since that night, he was doubting what he knew had happened. |
'yes , because he was telling the cop it was his fault! Yusei felt terriblefor what happened to you,I know your upsetand howalone youve must have felt ...but Yusei really was trying to get you out ... and take your place insted'.There was silence ,then Yukina starte yelling in pain , and as she screamed the pendent crackeda little.

Kalin didn't reply. He was too torn and conflicted. He was shocked to hear Yukina's scream. 'Yukina!' He shouted with his mind. He heard something crack. The gem on the pendant had a crack in it. 'Yukina, are you still there? Yukina!'
If there was a mirror nearby, he would see that his bronze-colored eyes were no long those of a Dark Signer. |
At first there was silence ,then camea weakened voice,'Yeah,I'm still here ..... i dont know for how lon though.....'

'Good,' Kalin replied quietly. 'That Leviathin...it's got to be stopped.'

'I know ... but aslong as im trapped ,i cant help ... besides,he found out whats keeping me here ...hes attcking my sole,to destory the pendent ,after that he'll probablly sacrifice me to get the doord to open, her voce was quite now,moere weak thenbefore.

Kalin bit his lower lip. His hand went to his deck, drawing out the Seal of Orechalcos. 'Then I'll have to stop him.' He replied.

'.Heh, i belive you ...',there wassilcenec again then Yukina started to scream again,sounding in evenmore pain , the pendent began to crack even more,a small peice of it breaking off.

The scream made Kalin's blood run cold. It was something that hadn't happened for years. Unconciously, he reached out with his mind to Yukina, and held onto her soul.

Yukina blinked as she felt Kalin hold onto her sole,she then heard Laviathin growl fustrated.Kalin....Kalin you have to let go ,Liviathin will comeafter you!

'Then let him come. I don't care.' Kalin replied. He managed to stop himself from blurting out the statement that was already on his mind.

Yukina frowned.Kalin....you cant fight him alone ... you need to get help,trust me please Kalin,ask Yusei,or anyone! they will help you I know it!

Kalin snorted. 'I won't ask Yusei for his help. The last time I did it landed me in jail, remember?' He replied sourly. He looked at the directions on the sheet of paper he had with him. 'Besides, I've got some more powerful allies.'

'Fine.' Kalin replied as he continued on his way. 'I'm going to see a woman named Lust, who can get me the help I need.' With that final statement he refused to speak anymore.
*** Tira kept a close eye on the clock as time wore on. She was relieved when she saw that it was only ten minutes before she was off-duty. That should mean that Ed's train will be back soon. She thought as she started clearing her desk. *** Edward stretched and yawned. "How far are we from Central, Al?" He asked as he sat up. |
Yukina shook her head.Kalin no they can not be trusted!Kalin dont go to them!Kalin!When she couldnt here a reply she went quiteas well.no..... The pendent lost its warmthas cracks ran all along through it ,looking as if would shatter.

Envy looked at him."what makes you think were on the same side?"

Kalin took out the note and handed it to Envy. "I believe that should be the proof." He replied.
*** Once the clock struck four Tira was already changed into her civilian clothes. "That'll be all for tonight, Second Lieutenant." She told her aide as she closed her black coat. "I'm going to pick up Fullmetal from the station; his train is coming in soon. I don't want him to be caught in the crossfire should anything go wrong like what's already been happening." The aide nodded. "Aye, Sir." He said with a salute. "Have a nice night then, Sir." "You too, Halladay." Tira said as she left the office. She made good time to the train station. I just hope Yusei listened to those instructions. *** It wasn't long before the train pulled into the station. The typical controlled chaos of disembarking took place, during which Ed spotted a familiar face. "Hey! Ed!" General Tira shouted. "What're you doing here?" Edward asked, running up to her. "I'm picking you up from the station." Tira replied. She turned her attention to Crow, Jack, Rua, and Kyle. "Once you guys get those motorcycles of yours, we'll be meeting up with Yusei in front of the research library. From there, we're going to go after Yukina and get her back." |
