Margaret didn't move, either. She wasn't about to do anything that would make the adult attack her. She kind of wished they could spend a little more time with the little Suicune, but there was no way she would keep it from its parent.

The little Suicune nudged the parent a few times, and the parent ushered it away. It only glanced back once at them with a rumbling growl before disappearing with its childe.

"Well," Aleron said shakily a little while later, "that was close."

"Not as close as some of the other encounters," Margaret pointed out, slowly trying to relax. "At least this time, death didn't seem as certain."

"That is true..." Aleron sighed. "Come on. We should get going again."

"Where to?" Margaret asked. "I mean, I have no idea where any of the other eggs would be... I only saw the one in Silph." She paused. "Are we anywhere near Blackthorn? It seems a bit irrelevant, at the moment, but I do still want to see Dragon Cave, and see about getting the Rising Badge. Come to think of it, I still need six badges from this region."

"Yeah, we can head over there," Aleron agreed. "It shouldn't take too long." She stretched a little. "And we can just keep looking around for the eggs, see if we see any around."

"Sounds good," Margaret said. "Which town are we closest to? I lost track, and I'm not so great with the geography of this region to begin with."

"We're on our way to Ecruteak," Aleron said with a shrug. "Probably not too far away."

"Cool," Margaret said. "I might actually get the chance to get the badge this time."

"Sure, no problem," Aleron said with a shrug. "Soon as we get there we can go check out the gym. Or whenever you're ready."

"Soon as we get there is good for me," Margaret said. "I think you told me before what Morty specializes in, but refresh my memory?"

"Ghost type," Aleron said. "He has a couple ghost type pokemon."

"Oh wonderful," Margaret said dryly. "Well, as long as they're not Duskulls or something, I should be alright."

"You have to be careful of his Gengar," Aleron said. "You should be okay, but just be careful." She'd gotten through him alright. He shouldn't take too much of Margaret's time.

"A Gengar?" Margaret asked. "I hate those things... I told you my mom has one, right?" She shook her head. "Evil little monsters..."

Aleron chuckled quietly. "Well, I'll be your moral support," she said with a grin. "So you'll get done with the battles as soon as possible just to shut me up, I'm sure."

Margaret snickered a bit.

"We'll see," she said. "Exeggute is pretty good against the Gastly family, so I'll use them... Staryu is still untested, so I would rather not use it, and Natu is just a baby, which leaves me with Metagross and Espeon, so I shouldn't have too much of a problem, especially if I use Metagross. He's immune to poison-type moves, which I know the Gastly family can use."

"Yeah, you should be fine," Aleron said with a shrug. "We'll see how long it takes you when we get there." She grinned at that.

"Alright," Margaret replied. "I wonder if Gravity works on ghost-types... It usually grounds flying-types and negates Levitate, so we'll have to see."

"That'll be interesting to watch." Aleron couldn't help but grin. "This should be a very interesting battle, actually."

Margaret grinned as well.

"It should be fun," she agreed.

"Well, the sooner we get there, the sooner we'll find out."

Aleron kept walking, though a little faster now. She wanted to watch this battle.

Margaret kept pace with her, not minding that they were walking faster. She was getting excited about the battle, and she wanted to get back into her badge-earning groove.

Aleron hummed to herself as they walked, and soon they could see the town. She headed straight for the gym.

Margaret followed her to the Gym. The building stood out a bit, and was decorated outside with slightly morbid colors. It made sense, though, if it was Ghost-type gym. She grinned at Aleron.

"Wish me luck," she said, turning to go in.
