...Well, I'm no expert in American comics, and Marvel was the first thing that came to mind thanks to the Spiderman movies I've seen...:sweat: |
That's entirely up to you, momo. xD
I was in Yumeh's colours earlier today but I hardly have any blue in my inventory so I changed back to Peeblo colours. |
I decided to change to peeblo. lol
|
I need to think of something black and blue-themed before I switch to Yumeh colors. :XD |
DC has: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter... <- That's the Justice League of America. :yes: (These ones are also part of the JLA: Green Arrow, Atom, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Black Canary, Captain Marvel, Plastic Man and Red Tornado.)
|
There are sooo many more. It'll take ages to list them. xD
You're forgetting Elongated Man. ;) |
Cool! I think I've read a few things on them, but really loosely so the stories don't connect for me at all. :sweat: |
You can always start over reading them, Fading!
DC has just released their #1 comics, refreshed and rebooted with an entirely new story which doesn't require prior knowledge of the characters' histories or personality. :D Yep, all those belong to Marvel, as is Thor. |
...I feel left out. xD I only know a few of those guys up there but I don't even know what most of the do!
and like, is Plastic Man made out of plastic or does he turn things into plastic? D; wuuuut? my mom didn't even know who that was and she knows more about those comic things then I do.... |
@Iro: Oooh, awesome! Is there anywhere I can read them online for free? I'm not sure where I can find them around here...it's all Japanese manga here. :sweat: |
Plastic Man's power are somewhat similar to Elongated Man. They can stretch till epic proportions, and in Plastic Man's case, turn himself into a different person or item at will. Somewhat a shapeshifter, but he moulds his body to turn into those figures (think plasticine) instead of shifting like Martian Manhunter.
---------- Honestly speaking, apart from Batman movies, movies with DC doesn't have very good reputation... |D I don't know about reading them online for free, but you could always try searching for cbr files. :) |
iro: he sounds chewy. |D
|
Really? :o That's a shame, they seem to have such interesting characters... |
@Fading:
If you like, here's a Dreamwidth journal account which posts scans from the books, but not entirely. scans_daily | Recent Entries @momochan: He does, doesn't he? ;D His (power) weakness is fire, though. It melts him. ---------- cbr stands for comic book resource. It's the file format they use to compress all the pages into one file, like rar files. |
Iro: reminds me of those like, super hero thingies from McDonald's...this lady was from the Incredible's, I think, and she was super stretchy. I used to chew on her limbs. xD OMNOMNOM
I should find him and melt him with a flamethrower! >w< |
Elastigirl! :D
The concept is somewhat similar, but Plastic Man changes into fun things like a hammer, parachute, boat, peanut (seriously) and other random objects too. xD Bad momo! |
A peanut!? ...Wow, would've loved to see that in the actual comic. :rofl: |
Good morning and all that rot.
|
Hey Lav~ |
Hello there. How is it going?
|
Superman dislikes Starro with great passion, and for a reason. xD
You're welcome, Fading, and hello Lavender! |
iro: yeaaah! her! she was so chewy...I think I really did enjoy chewing on her. o ~o
I used to chew on a LOT of rubber things. xD;; lol, a peanut? seriously? no! good momo! D; |
@Lav: Exhausted, but in good spirits~ ;D How's Lav? |
Lav is doing fine. Thinking what to do today.
