I exerted way more effort when I ran than when I walked quickly. The most walking quickly did was burn my shins. It is better on the knees though, less impact. And you can walk up a hill to get more out of it. * -* |

Just start slow and build up to it. Nothing wrong with walking, it's good for you and yeah, won't tear up your knees like running can.
Going uphill will definitely make you work harder. @ [email protected] I suppose it depends on what you're trying to do too. |

Short of starving yourself, you're going to build muscle if you work out. Just depends to what degree. The walking would help with not gaining much muscle aside from your legs. If you did it frequently uphill though, you'd definitely be working out your legs. And butt. :lol: Good luck~ |
