Hey Scholar :)
How's it going? |
Oh, it's going. We had to put our youngest cat to sleep on Christmas Eve because his kidneys failed, probably due to antifreeze poisoning, and by "we" I mean "my husband had to deal with all of this because I live on the opposite side of the world, so my cat died on Christmas Day for me..." and that was so totally not fun.
But then a week later I spent New Years' Eve at a temple in Kyoto with 10,000 other people waiting to do their "first prayer" of the year, and that was pretty amazing, peculiar, and astonishing. The friend I was with pulled a "bad luck" fortune twice, so he was pretty nervous when we finally parted at about 1:30 in the morning. Oh, and someone drunk puked on the train I took back home, but not, fortunately, on me. XD How're you? |
Other then the cat part that sounds amazing. I've always wanted to go and visit Kyoto, Tokyo and a few other towns in Japan that I can't think of right now.
I'm doing good though, about to go across the street and get some food for breakfast at the gas station~be back in like 15. |
Well, I'm actually heading to bed myself now. The last few days have been pretty exhausting emotionally, and I want to get up in the morning and go for a leisurely run before dawn. I love running in cold weather!

Aw okay Scholar~I just got back. I figured I'd get in the habit of walking, then I'll move up to jogging xD

Turns out I'm still here. I wanted to post in the French langout (I started typing that by accident, but it works pretty well as a short form of "language hangout") and it took forever, so I'm still around. My eyes are starting to droop, though....

No, people stare at me because I'm an overweight white person jiggling along panting... :sweat:
And it *is* fun learning a language, but it's really hard getting my French back down that I'm pretty good with Japanese! Okay, my brain is dead. Time to sleep. Goodnight! |
