Yeah. :\ It seems to be getting worse over the years. At first the kids selling themselves would think it's a shameful thing and they're only doing it because they wanted something and would try to not be found out for it and would usually stop after getting what they wanted, but nowadays they think it's completely normal and that the adults are 'freaking out over nothing', and would even go around pulling their friends into the 'business' too. It's like, wtf, seriously? :\

[gonk] I totally crapped out of this conversation without realizing it. I guess I've just never understood how someone can become so desperate. I mean, it's been happening since the beginning of time, but it's getting worse again. Sometimes society just scares me at how low it can actually sink.

Sometimes it's not like they're poor or anything at all to begin with. They just wanted to show off by having something that has a brand name.
