where i went to school we had that issue sometimes... we even had a black out once! it was late spring so it wasn't too bad to be outside, but the whole campus just hung outside on the quad... in the dark... it was kinda fun

Lucky we haven't had any blackouts...our doors are card-controlled, so if the power went out, we'd all be locked in/out O.o; (though I suppose someone would have the keys to turn the system off and open the doors manually, or that would really, really suck...) |

oh man... card doors in a black out would have been the worst! but my school was a private one... so that means it was wasn't funded by the state, so basically we were poor lol so we had regular keys :P

that is a good idea :yes: we had lanyards to keep our keys and id's on... we needed our id cards to swipe when we went to get food... such gadgetry these days
