The only time I liked history was as a kid, when my teacher told it to us like he was telling a story. After that, I never liked it any more. Too bad I have to know all of this *facepalm* I really do't care that the first real newspaper was in 1618 and was a newspaper for Italy, Germany and The Netherlands. I don't even want to do anything with newpapers... Well, maybe the comics in there, but that's it

Ah. There was a brief time that I liked history in 9th grade. It was World History, but once it got to America and our history, it was a snooze fest for me.
But yeah, I need history to be.... told in another way. Like stories, yeah. :lol: |

Once upon time! Back when news traveled only by word of mouth and slates of stone, when Italy was 16 and Germany and the Netherlands were 18, they decided they had had enough! Their jaws hurt too much from all the talking, and their fingers were raw and bloody from chiseling stone. So they got together, stared at a tree, and decided to keel it! They chopped it down and beat it to a bloody pulp. Then they laid the pulp on a nearby stone and smoothed it down. They grabbed some some ink from an inkbug and began to write the first newpaper! Ta da! @Dan-san: Ooooh that. Haha. I went there and was like "Why am I here...?" So I left. |
I only walk around in a t-shirt and underwear right before I go to bed and when it's really warm. Good thing for me that it's hardly really warm here
I just made it to the part of World War 2! *is proud of self* Now I just have 10 pages, 27 questions and one essay left to go until I can say I'm done with the history part D= They killed a tree and a bug?! Oh my! We should sue them for that! |
