Or any of the other crazy things I thought/said/did when I was off them. I was diagnosed pretty young so I've been on medication for about 8 years now, although it wasn't always lithium.

Yeah, well I think that's because Charlie Sheen is going through a SEVERE manic episode. All the experts I've seen on the tv that they bring in say so also.

That sounds less like bipolar and more like some kind of psychosis, no offense, they can be treated the same way.
But delusional thinking like that alone doesn't make a person bipolar.

I have no idea which show both of you are talking about. >.<

Momo-You're no where near being a toddler, they don't let those come on Mene.

FeyonaSaibre 03-16-2011 08:33 PM

I'm in my 20's right now too, but I wouldn't worry about it too much Momo! You probably have the best figure out of every one of us. LOL. At least in America, girls in their 20's tend to let themselves go a little. I'm planning on eating really healthy and possibly picking up a couple exercise classes if I can fanagle it.

PapillonCameo 03-16-2011 08:34 PM

Hey ,I love my curves! lol I just want to define them a bit more,so I plan on swimming a lot next year, and fencing too! Can't wait to use the pool on campus!

No trust me it was bipolar. That was when I was on the wrong meds though, so it was like SUPER-SUPER-SUPER mania. They treated me for depression and it sent me spiraling the other way. Normally I just have trouble thinking, too many thoughts, speaking too fast, trouble concentrating, high irritability and probably other symptoms I can't think of. I haven't been off my meds in a while. And to be super honest, i don't care what it is as long as it gets treated.

Two and a Half Men. John Cryer is brilliant, as well as Ryan Stiles. The maid is also hilarious, although I can't remember her name. They don't NEED him to have a funny show.

Yeah, I've been trying to walk more. At like dusk so it's actually a beareable temperature out.

monstahh` 03-16-2011 08:38 PM

I know exactly how you feel... I was like "if I could only lose this belly weight, I'd be set... " well I guess I'll have to wait to do that for a little longer. If anything, my stomach is only going to get bigger.

fairywaif 03-16-2011 08:40 PM

I was thinking about going into psychology. But I'm interested in so many things it's hard to narrow it down to just one thing.

Yeah, my stupid stomach is the real problem. I should probably do crunches more...

Its alright. I finally have a bit of a curve :la: and small stomach....so I'm happy. xD I want more curves though...and a flatter tummy.

FeyonaSaibre 03-16-2011 08:51 PM

I'm actually taking Psych right now. Funnest Class... EVER! I love it.

monstahh` 03-16-2011 08:52 PM

I don't care enough to exercise--it's too much pain for not enough immediate change.

FeyonaSaibre 03-16-2011 08:53 PM

Just don't take those diet pills from foreign countries... I heard one of them was actually tapeworm eggs. Buh... so gross.

momochan 03-16-2011 08:53 PM

Momo is going to get a bike for her b-day, a really nice bike. So I will be able to lose some weight. c:

Actually I figured out that always holding your belly in develops the muscles and makes some of the tummy go away after a while. That's what I did and it helped a LOT!

And yes,Psychology is awesome!

monstahh` 03-16-2011 08:58 PM

Diet pills in general are a bad idea.

momochan 03-16-2011 08:59 PM

Do diet pills even work?

FeyonaSaibre 03-16-2011 09:00 PM

Some of them do temporarily... but I wouldn't suggest it, because when you stop taking them, you usually gain back that weight plus more...

quasievilgenius 03-16-2011 09:01 PM

In my general experience, a good number of girls put on about 14-30 lbs in the age range of like 19-22, usually it has at least some causal relation to bad relationships or messy breakup...eventually a lot tend to make a decision eventually to just start being more active and doing more, and then the weight kind of melts and you see them again and they've lost like 20 pounds in 2 years.

monstahh` 03-16-2011 09:01 PM

Sometimes, but usually because they're laxatives or because they're loaded with --amphetamines or stimulants which make you not hungry and have lots of energy.

----------

I've actually lost weight though since I was 17--without really doing anything. Just one day I was 165lbs, and then a few months later I was only 130...And I've been hovering about 135lbs to 140lbs since.

momochan 03-16-2011 09:04 PM

Bleh, I don't want to take anything like that. I can lose weight without that crap. XP I will just cut out some fatty foods, watch what I eating, and exercise if I want to loose weight.

quasievilgenius 03-16-2011 09:04 PM

And you have to be REALLY...REALLY...careful with diet pills.

It's not as bad as it was back before Phen-Phen killed a bunch of people, but a lot of diet pills contain a dextroamphetamine, it increases energy and cuts appetite...it's SPEED, basically. Look up "effects of amphetamine/methamphetamine/dextroamphetamine (that may not be the correct chemical name, but that's how it sounds) before you consider taking them...and/or make sure you find supplements that aren't amphetamine based. Or caffeine based for the same reason. Exercise and proper diet are the keys.

FeyonaSaibre 03-16-2011 09:07 PM

Agreed.... in my condition though I wouldn't even dream about taking any kind of suppliment unless it were either recommended by my doctor or an herbal supplement that I've had my herb friend investigate the heck out of to make sure it was safe.

momochan 03-16-2011 09:09 PM

god, diet pills have a lot of crap in them. I am so glad I only weigh between 110 and 120 pounds. xD

monstahh` 03-16-2011 09:10 PM

Mm, drugs.

Pop a pill for everything and you're cured.

Bleh.
