The city of Icetica http://wiki.janime.eu/images/f/ff/Du...dom_Island.jpg In the city of Icetica, more greens than a city is present. There is a pier, though, for the boats, a base for the plane and the helicopters, a castle and most definitely a big town and small villages that can be traveled to by horse. It's an old country that don't agree with technology. They have some but they don't use all. Some of those technology present in the city of Icetica would be the gadgets that are easy to use. Should they be of no use anymore, there is a shop that receives them to create new ones, upgrading the old to the new. They also don't use cars because they want their city to be polluted. They love their country, which could also explain why they don't use lights but use candles or lamps. Bulb lights or incandescent lights are a big no to their country and their law deports anyone who would use it. |

[imgleft]http://i1178.photobucket.com/albums/x365/IrishEnglishBlood/129838147089515-1.jpg[/imgleft] Name: Prince Ice Etolia E. Theolitikos Nicknames: Lia, Theo Age: 19 Height: 5'8" Gender: Male Position: No certain preference Occupation: Prince of Icetica Personality: Despite his selfish and greedy nature, he's pretty sociable. He had to be, after all, since he entertains the guests - princes or princesses, kings or queens - from different countries. He's the next in line for the throne and he tends to abuse this power by wasting his parents' money on brothels, on women and men, and even on himself. Everyday, he has a new attire and every week, he throws away the clothes, which would probably explain why he had a lot of 'friends' who wanted these clothes of his made of the finest materials. He also won't bother with anyone poor. At least, he doesn't lavish them with attention. The Prince is just, well, perfect in everything minus maybe his non-existent love life. History: Lia grew up lavishly with his parents showering and spoiling him with things more than a baby could ask for. He grew up pleased most of the time, only occasionally throwing a tantrum or two to get his parents' attention. Other than that, he grew up into a fine, young man with class and superb taste of the bejeweled. He's rich, of course, because of the tax the people pay and their country thrived with the barters and exchanges they do by port and by plane by diplomatic reasons. Because of their population and their strict implementation of their law, they are, by far, the best country in the world, a first-class that Lia is proud to be part of. Now, he's just waiting for his turn on the throne for him to lead the country greatly like his father is doing. Likes: Classical musicDislikes: Being told he's not good enoughQuote he goes by: "There's only one life so live and be merry." |
'I live to serve...Or do I?' http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4038/...27ab6aab4a.jpg Name: Shea Age: Ageless Species: Genie Gender: Male Position: No preference Occupation: Genie/servant to who ever owns his lamp Personality: Shea is a quiet young genie. In his younger days he used to be a lot more outspoken, but after seeing enough cruelty of mankind he started to withdraw, voicing his opinions less and less. On the outside he is the perfect obediant dog, doing what ever his master orders of him. However, if you look closely enough you'll spot his own small rebellions, slight changes in the wishes that, while fulfilling the wish, makes the wish not quite what his master wanted. When Shea does speak, he is quite a sarcastic, dry humoured type of person. He has a more pessimistic view of the world and finds humour in teaching 'life lessons' to people. Shea has a huge fondness for children and for animals, he'll do pretty much anything if a little kid asked him to do it. History: What can you say about the history of a genie? They've been around since practically the dawn of time, being handed from one master to the next. Shea has lived through almost every war that's ever occured, known every great disaster and success and witnessed both terrible cruelties and amazing miracles. How he wound up on Icetica is a much shorter story though. He once belonged to a well known travelling 'circus' for want of a better word. They had been to many countries and finally arrived at Icetica to 'wow' the crowd with their acts. The circus had set up camp in a forrest near to the main town and on the last night, as they were packing away, Shea's lamp was knocked from its usual resting place. It was hidden beneath some roots half pulled from the ground, so that when the circus had moved on to another country, Shea was left behind. He exchanged hands several times after this before finally landing in the hands of the current Prince of Icetica. Likes: Animals, kind masters, freedom, all forms of music, children, apples, telling jokes no one else gets Dislikes: Cruel/self centered masters, his lamp, small spaces, crowds, fish, being belittled Lamp: http://t1.ftcdn.net/jpg/00/07/23/54/...F7q0bZYHPE.jpg |
A rather rushed man could be seen walking down the hallways of the castle, his eyes darting left and right rambunctiously like he was searching for something or someone for this matter. When he reached the front doors and had looked left and right the road, he knew very well where the young master had gone to. He pursed his lips as he sighed for the first time that morning. “The least you could do, young master, is to tell me when you’re heading out for your morning walks.”
Said young master was walking on feet with the reigns of his horse in his hand. He was dressed in his horse riding clothes and had donned the gold ring that the butler was searching for. It was a family heirloom that, of course, the prince had a right to wear but occasionally, his father asked for it to use the seal on it as a stamp. He whistled as he walked along the forest trail, the sound of the birds singing along with him as he stopped at a clearing. It was a beautiful clearing that he frequented often and usually skinny-dipped but today, he did not do the latter. Instead, he got on his horse, tugged a little at its reigns to make him turn right and was just about to kick its side to run around the lake when he saw something glinting at the far distance. Was that… gold? It looked a lot like gold to him now that he had neared it and he smiled at what he’d found. Getting down on his horse and trusting it not to run away, he hurried to pick it up from the ground before he got back on his horse. Not wanting anyone else to see what he’d found, he hid it under his cap and hung it on his belt hoop before he’d kicked the horse’s side to return back to its trails back to the castle. He was excited to add this to his number of collections. When a few of the woodcutters had seen him pass by, they greeted him, which he paid no mind and quickly got down from his horse to leave it to the stable man who came to get him. He threaded through the castle, barely escaping his butler’s hawk-like eyes and locked himself up in his room. The light was bright from outside since it was a sunny and clear morning and his curtains, which was a couple of feet above him were pushed aside. Lia put the lamp on his study table after he’d pushed all the papers aside and he looked at it as he’d rubbed his hands together. Firstly, he needed to clean it off of any mud. The male went off to find a rag – one of his dirty clothes – and used it to clean it properly until it shined of gold. |
His eyes only started to open as he felt the strange jerking sensation. It had been a long time since something like this had happened, a few decades at least? Standing up rapidly, the young man reached out to lean against the soft arm chair he had beens leeping in moments before. His dark red eyes flicked side to side anxiously, noticing the shaking of his walls. With a raised eyebrow, Shea started to move carefully around, lightly adjusting picture frames and the small hanging mirror.
Ever since his lamp had been lost by his previous idiot owner, Shea had been enjoying a rather peaceful life. Occasionally he would step outside, visit the town to see how things had changed over the years, although his excursions were rare. Shea despised the crowds in the market place, it was as if he could feel every one of the people's eyes focused on him because he wasn't human, he didn't belong there. Shaking his head slightly, he glanced around again, eyeing his ceiling suspiciously. Just how long would it take for his new master to decide to actually bother rubbing the lamp? He was beginning to feel mildly motion-sick and his home wasn't exactly faring any better with the constant shaking around. Just as Shea was contemplating appearing early, he felt the familiar, sickly tug in the pit of his stomach. Closing his eyes, he grimaced somewhat, making a final silent prayer before he felt his body being forced upwards, dragged through the spout of the lamp. Smoke billowed across the study table, a fair warning for his new master or mistress to get out of the way quickly. Shea always did this the first time appearing to someone new, it was always more impressive that way. As his shape began to take form, he blinked around curiously, eyes taking in the new surroundings. This was definately not the forest, nor was it a simple 'peasant' home. The room was clearly decorated to suit a lavish taste, or to show off riches. Noticing this made his lip curl in a slight frown of distaste before he lowered his gaze to the human in front of him, not speaking for a few moments. |
Lia's eyes widened at the sight of the smoke and he, for a moment there, thought he'd had the lamp catch fire. He had dropped it, of course, by instinct and quickly moved away. Just as he was about to call out for someone to get rid of the fire and the lamp, he found himself blinking in surprise and coming eye-to-eye with a stranger. A man. How the hell did a man come out from a lamp? he asked, obviously disturbed.
When he realized what kind of clothes the man was wearing, he immediately stiffened and pursed his lips. He never did like people who were clad so simply. The looked too... plain and poor. "Who are you?" he asked, his voice holding a tone of wary. It also seemed to demand that the stranger in front of him explain what had happened while he looked at him strangely. |
Shea blinked slowly as he saw the clearly shocked expression on the other's face. It almost made him chuckle quietly, although the genie had long since learnt to hold his tongue. Remaining quiet a few seconds longer, Shea slowly bowed his head, finally breaking the eye contact and instead choosing to observe the other's clothing. Definately a rich young man. His new master must be some form of noble, perhaps close to the King? It made Shea's own life style, and his clothing, feel rather shabby. He frowned slightly, glancing down at his trousers clad with holes and tears, hanging loosely from his thin frame.
Finally, Shea lifted his crimson eyes back up to the other and sighed softly. "I go by what ever name you chose to give me sir. As the one to rub the lamp, you have made yourself my master." Pausing again, Shea ran a hand through his hair and let out a sheepish laugh. "My apologies sir, I haven't done this in a while, I am a genie, a magical being which is able to grant wishes for the one in possession of my lamp, my master...My last master chose to call me Shea, and I was quite fond of the name." He murmured. Carefully Shea stepped off of the desk, landing with a quiet thud on the floor. "May I ask who you are master?" |
Lia watched the expressions on the genie's face and he found himself raising his eyebrows a little in surprise. The moment the said stranger had jumped down from the table, though, his surprise turned to wary again as he took a step back to distance themselves just in case this was someone who was after the throne. He did get almost killed often and they were, strangely, people who weren't part of the villages in this island.
"Master?" he repeated, his brows meeting together to form a crease. And, rub the lamp? What exactly is this stranger talking about? He had honestly thought he was out of his mind and he stood there, stunned, as he listened to him laugh sheepishly and apologized about something. When he'd heard the word 'genie', though, his eyes had widened and he'd unconciously taken a step back. He didn't fully take a step back though. "Is this that typical three wishes in the storybooks?" he asked, quirking a brow in curiosity before he'd cleared his throat. His chin seemed to have raised just a little as he straightened up and fixed his shirt. "I am Ice Etolia E. Theolitikos, the prince of this country, Icetica," he said, his voice holding that tone that told anyone he was proud of what he was. In fact, perhaps, too proud. |
He raised an eyebrow slightly as he gazed at the other curiously. Was the young man a jumpy type of person? This would be slow progress if he was, being around genies often involved one or two...Unpleasant surprises at times. Still, the fact the human was backing away from him made Shea feel slightly bolder. He leant casually against the desk, slowly looking the young man up and down before shifting his gaze to flick back around the room in an attempt to learn more about the other.
He stiffened when he heard the other's voice, more importantly, his question. Shea kept his gaze away from the other, starting to concentrate on a book case and slowly reading the titles. "Yes and no Master. No, there are an unlimited amount of wishes. yes, there are a large amount of rules as to the types of wishes you may have. The key ones are no wishing for the death of yourself or others, no wishing for riches, no wishing for love and or adoration and please be specific in your wishes" He answered calmly, voice beginning to sound almost monotonous, as if he'd done this scene many, many times. Shea stiffened when he heard the other declaring who he was. Sliding his gaze back to the supposed 'Prince', he frowned slightly. "It is a pleasure to meet you then, Master Ice Etolia E. Theolitikos." He fell silent, raising an eyebrow as he watched the other, starting to scowl a little as he saw the stance the prince had taken. "Are you the first son of the King then, Master?" He murmured softly again, not doubting that the prince was indeed the first son, no person would have an attitude like that unless they had an important position. |
Lia wasn't exactly a jumpy type of person. The genie just surprised him a lot. That, and he was always wary of anyone who was dressed so poorly. He never brought them up into his room, much less welcomed them into his palace unlike his father. They usually just enter the hallways and the throne room, though. Those, of course, are two of the rooms he prevents himself from passing, entering or staying.
When he heard about the wishes, he let out a short, "Ah," before he'd frowned again. It was rather disappointing that he couldn't wish for anyone else dead and for all the townspeople to be rich, that way, he wouldn't have to avoid them so much. "All right." Keeping his head high, he smiled at that question. "The one and only son," he said as he pointed at Shea. "Before anything else, I wish for you to change your garb into something more...fitting in a palace. Clothes like that of a personal bodyguard of mine, maybe?" |
Shea watched the other curiously as he saw the frown. Clearly he didn't quite agree with some of the rules surrounding the ownership of genies. Ah well, it wasn't as if Shea could change them, he was as much a slave to genie law as he was to whom ever was his current master. He remained silent for a few times, raising a slight eyebrow at the other's answer to his question, not returning the smile. Slowly his gaze slid down from the other's face to the finger being pointed at him. How rude.
"M-my clothes master? That...Is a strange wish, is there something about them that offends you?" He questioned, looking confused and glancing down at his raggedy shirt and jeans. They seemed perfectly fine in his opinion, comfortable and unstained and at least they fit. It made Shea glad that he hadn't actually tried to dress up for this first meeting, he hated to think what the prince would say about his 'smart clothes'. After a few seconds the genie felt the unpleasant sensation in the pit of his stomach, a sickly expression flickering over his face. He only had a couple of seconds left to grant the wish. "Very well master, if it is what you desire then your wish is my command" He murmured, bowing his head. He snapped his fingers sharply and at once the holes of his clothings knitted together. The shirt became tailored and collared, with a light lining of dark royal blue along the edges and cuffs, silver buttons keeping it together. His jeans were altered into smart trousers, neatly pressed as if freshly ironed. However, no shoes covered his feet still and the clothing had not changed colour. Shea hoped to get away without the shoes, he despised those items of clothing, far too uncomfortable. "Is this more to your liking Master?" After a pause he gave a faint smile. "Is there any name you would prefer me to call you Master? I'm afraid your full name and title is too long, even for myself." |
Lia was rude to anyone he didn't think was up to par with him in both society and money. Apparently, he's grown up to be very materialistic, which would explain his great liking to riches, fame and galor.
When he'd seen Shea change his clothes, he looked rather surprised. Magic, after all, was foreign to him and to be able to see it happening right before his eyes was simply amazing for the lack of a better word. The moment Shea had finished with his magic and he had recovered his bearings, he looked at him from head to toe. Slowly. His gaze was even scrutinizing. By the time he'd reached his feet, though, a frown marred his features again and he shot his gaze back up to meet the genie's eyes. "Why don't you wear shoes?" he asked him before he'd moved his arms to cross over his chest. He was still in his horseback riding clothes. He needed to change. "And, call me Lia or Theo. I'd prefer a Master before my name, though, like what you're doing now just... without my name." |
Shea couldn't help but smile faintly as he saw the expression on the human's face. Clearly what ever he had been expecting, it hadn't been an actual performance of magic. He had almost been tempted to make sparkles appear once the wish was complete. Just for added effect of course. After a few seconds he was shifting uncomfortably under the others scrutinizing gaze, watching him in silence as the Prince studied the outfit for flaws. At the mention of shoes, Shea gave a slightly nervous shrug. "I don't like them, they're very uncomfortable" He murmured softly.
Bringing his gaze back into focus, Shea watched as his new Master gave him instructions whilst folding his arms over his chest as he spoke. After a few seconds, he bowed his head slightly. "Very well Master Lia, if you wish for me to name you with a feminine name I gladly shall" His lips twitched up slightly in amusement as he spoke, curious to test his boundries. |
"F-Feminine?!" Lia exclaimed as a series of expressions touched his features: from his eyes widening to a scrunched up frown and then to his lips pursing and his eyes half-glaring at the genie that was now bowing that head of his slightly. How dare he, he thought as he turned his gaze away and tightened his arms crossed across his chest, "There's nothing feminine with Lia." He knew. This wasn't the first time he's been made fun of with his feminine nickname after all.
"And I wish you'd wear shoes and be comfortable in them," he told him, "I can't have you walking around in feet in my father's castle." Not that shoes were important in the castle but it wouldn't hurt for one to always be ready when there are visitors around. The knock to his door caught his attention and he'd motioned for the genie to stay where he was. "What is it?" he asked out loudly, his voice taking on an authoritative tone as he turned his gaze towards the said door. "The maid has brought you your clothes, your highness." Lia moved to the door to take it and he dismissed them before he'd shut and locked the door again. Stepping to stand by the bed, he put the clothes down and started to undress. He didn't mind at all that Shea was in the room with him. They were, after all, of the same sex, he'd assume. There's nothing to be worried, either, since he knew he had a great body. A masculine but feminine body. Strangely. "Do you eat food?" he asked as he distracted himself with the buttons. |
The range of expressions flashing over Lia’s face after he had spoken highly amused Shea. Covering a mouth slightly, he laughed softly, shaking his head a little before leaning forwards until their faces were inches away. Even if this was his master, the human would still need to know, Shea was an all powerful genie, he would not allow himself to be treated like a dog. “Yes Master Lia, it is feminine, I am sure I had a mistress once named Lia” He answered with a mildly teasing smirk before he slowly leant back.
Eyes widening slightly, Shea bit his lip and he grimaced, digging his nails into the palm of his hands. After a few seconds, a defeated expression settled on his features as he exhaled loudly, the tension vanishing from his body. “As...You wish...Master Lia” He murmured, twitching his fingers and making smart black shoes form easily around his feet. The sound of knocking made Shea’s head jerk up sharply, gazing in silence at the door as a strange person spoke, although he didn’t leave the spot he stood on, as his master had ordered. Moving a little once the person had left, Shea leant back against the desk, watching Lia for a few moments before turning quickly away. Perhaps his master really didn’t know anything about genies, that almost every genie was at least bi, it made things much easier when it came to dealing with different masters. A light blush had flickered over his cheeks as he kept his head firmly turned away from Lia as the boy began to change. “I do not rely on it as much as humans, but I do need to eat a small amount, once a day or once every two days at the most. My magic becomes weaker if I do not eat for longer periods then that” He explained calmly. |
Lia didn't like it at all when Shea had laughed softly. It meant that he was amused by something that wasn't amusing Lia at all and that very thought frustrated him. His eyes had widened when their faces were just inches away. To think, too, that had to happen when he'd thought about turning to look at the other. "Did you now?" he asked with much sarcasm when he'd remembered the other's question, "What, praytell, was her full name?"
Looking up at Shea, he noticed him looking away and it made him curious. He still only had on his pants and not his shirt. In fact, he'd brought it with him. "What's with you?" he asked as he'd stood in front of him, "Haven't you seen another man's body?" As if that wasn't enough, he'd even taken the genie's hand to have it press up against his crotch. "Or touched this?" He was only making a point and once he was done, he let go of the genie's hand to slip on his shirt and start buttoning it up. "Surely, you're a man, aren't you?" |
Shea was still chuckling softly as he saw the other’s still irritated expression. At least he now had something he could come back to, if he ever felt in the mood to irritate or wind up his new master. With a slightly raised eyebrow, he folded his own arms across his chest, looking mildly uncomfortable in the stiff clothing he was now forced to wear. “I’m afraid I doubt you would recall her Master Lia, she lived some several hundred years ago, and was but a humble peasant woman who died when she was only twenty seven” He answered in a sad tone. “Her name was Lia Tolson” Shea added, a look of mourning flickering over his face as he talked about his former master.
He kept his eyes firmly away from the other, hearing by the rustling of clothes he wasn’t done changing. However, when Shea heard movement, his head jerked up slightly and he stared wide eyed at his master. A steady flush ran over his cheeks as he tried to look away, biting his lip slightly. “I have seen plenty of male bodies, although only at my master’s permission” He mumbled indignantly, the blush from embarrassment as well as irritation. The moment he felt his hand being moved and pressed against...Something, his eyes widened and he tried to jerk his hand away from the Prince. Taking a couple of short, staggering steps back, he frowned, glaring back at the other. “Of course I’m a man! And whether or not I have touched....There, is quite frankly, my business and only mine, not yours Master Lia!” After a few seconds he turned sharply away again with a disgruntled noise. “I am a genie, remember Master Lia? We are...different to humans, our ways of thinking and behaving are not quite the same as yours” |
Lia Tolson. No. Indeed, he hadn't heard of that name but the way the genie had said her name meant she was someone to him. Someone important. It made him inwardly jealous for some odd reason. Jealousy for not having the genie's solely attention to him or jealousy for having his heart smitten by her kindness, he wasn't sure. He isn't one to find out, too. Though, he did like it when Shea had given him that look with that steady flush over those cheeks of his.
It made him... satisfied now that he's gotten his full attention. "Oh?" he asked when he'd heard his mumble and he'd smiled in amusement at the genie's reaction. "You sound like you haven't done it." The Prince wasn't taunting the genie. He was simply... amused. It had him putting his hands on his hip as he let his other hand drop to his side. He only managed to button up three of the buttons from the top so he was pretty much bare at the top. The teasing type of bare. "How, pray tell, are you different from humans?" The man looked at the genie from head to toe and then back up. "You don't seem at all that different." |
Shea kept his gaze firmly away from the other as he struggled to control the blush on his cheeks. It was growing darker though the longer he struggled with this. Biting his lip a little he tried to turn away from his Master, letting strands of hair flicking into his eyes and across his face. Here he was, attempting to very feebly change the topic of conversation and instead he was getting more and more flustered. He was being made fun of! By a little kid of all things! It was almost embarrassing for him.
Hearing the other’s words, he glanced sharply up again with a furious glare. “Of course not! Imagine being bound to the word of your Master or Mistress! I am not permitted to do anything for myself unless they allow me to, so no, I haven’t done it, nor would I want to just ‘for the fun of it’” He growled softly. After his little outburst, Shea’s eyes flicked down to the skin he could see on the top half of the Prince’s body, and once more the blush darkened rapidly. “That which seems most similar, is often most different” He stated in a partially hushed voice before forcing himself to look away again. “I need to eat very little in comparison to you, I have ultimate magic, like all genies I am bi, it makes things easier for us to deal with our masters and mistresses, I am over 1000 years old, do you need any more differences? I could name several more” He answered in an almost bored tone. |
Lia would've had continued teasing the genie if it weren't for the knock again on his door. Shutting his opened mouth, he licked his lips and went back to his bed to pick up his horse riding clothes. "No, that's all right. Come. I'll show you around." Once he'd opened the door, the maid was there waiting to take his clothes. Lia handed these to her and he'd turned to look again at Shea. "I'll introduce you to my father, as well, once he comes back from his travel later in the evening." When he'd mentioned his father, his tone had shifted to one that resembled monotonous in nature but that was about it.
Dismissing the maid, he continued to hold the door open for Shea and waited for him to step out so he'd step out, too, and start walking down the hallway. "The kitchen is always open," he told him, "Our chef, Kraz, will be taking care of whatever you'd want to eat." When he'd seen the butler pass by, he didn't even give him a glance. "Surta's my father's butler," he told Shea, "And I'll be introducing you to the king as mine." With his chin still held high, he expertly moved through the hallways like he could walk through them with his eyes closed. "Are you good at organizing, Shea?" |
Silently, the genie thanked whoever was at the door for knocking and interrupting Lia in his teasing. It certainly made his life a lot easier. He kept his gaze away from the Prince, lowering his eyes to stare, in great fascination, at the floor. With a curt nod, he began to follow the other, pausing only to look up once more as he was spoken directly to again. “Your father? I feel highly privileged to meet the king” He answered. It was hard to tell whether or not Shea was being sarcastic or genuine in his words, what he said and his tone of voice was borderline for both.
Shea didn’t miss the monotonous tone of his new master’s voice though, and it made him raise an eyebrow in curiosity. He opened his mouth a fraction, wanting to voice his thoughts, however he remained silent, gently closing his own lips and nodding a little again. As Shea stepped out into the hallway, he glanced around curiously again, his eyes widening slightly. For a moment he almost resembled an excited child, before the calm expression settled back onto his face. Every so often he would make a noise to affirm he had understood what Lia was saying, even stopping to bow his head respectfully to the butler as they passed him. At Lia’s next words, he looked around sharply and grimacing a little. “I’m afraid Master Lia, if you were capable of seeing the inside of my lamp, you would know not to ask me such a question” He answered, shaking his head a little. “I do not enjoy organization, I find it removes the spontaneity of life” He answered in a slightly quieter tone, not looking at the Prince as he spoke, in case he was angered by his answer. “You know these halls well Master Lia, how long have your family been the ruling power of this country?” Shea asked suddenly, still keeping his gaze trained on the hall way ahead. |
Apparently, Lia didn't pay the genie's tone of voice any mind. He seemed more caught up with keeping his head up high while he continued to lead Shea through the halls. Frowning just a tad, though, at the genie's reply about being organized, he finally turned to look over his shoulder at the man and then moved his gaze back to the front. "You'll be needing to organize my time," he told him, "Meetings and whatnot."
When he'd heard the question, he smiled as he slowed down to a stop. They seemed to have come to a wall set across the rather large window with the rays of the sun giving the pictures before them a certain glow about them. "For about two centuries now," he told him proudly as he motioned to the frames of his great ancestors. They were lined along the walls, some were family pictures, too. "We're the thirty-second. I'm the thirty-third once I have come of age." |
Shea raised a slight eyebrow as the other seemed to ignore his comment. Shaking his head a little, he continued to traipse after his new Master, eyes constantly flicking left to right as he took in his new surroundings. As Shea turned slightly, he looked surprised when he saw Lia glancing back at him. However he raised a slight hand in a small wave back to his Master as he allowed a small smile on his lips. Shea shook his head a little as he shrugged. “Then I am afraid you will have to be prepared, Master Lia, to miss some of your meetings” He murmured softly. Shea knew that his new master couldn’t wish for him to be more organized. It was another one of the many rules, one was forbidden to make a wish that will change another person’s natural personality.
Shea stumbled to a stop as the Prince fell still, now facing the large windows and motioning to the portraits lining the walls. He took a moment to observe them before letting out a soft chuckle. “I really have been in the lamp for too long, your family had only just come into power the last time I had a master” He murmured thoughtfully, gazing at one picture in particular. “I believe he was the current King at the time” As he spoke Shea pointed to the portrait so Lia would know who he was talking about. |
Lia didn't like the sound of that but he supposed he wouldn't be able to do anything about it. "And I'm afraid, as well, that you'll have to take the blame should things turn out for the worst." His lip tugged up a little in amusement before he'd raised his eyebrows a little in surprise. "You've served an ancestor of mine?" he asked as he'd turned to look at the picture of the said King that Shea had pointed at, "That's odd. It's been rumored that this guy's an oddball."
Shrugging a little, the male motioned for Shea to come continue following him. He showed him to the kitchen, to the throne room, and to the other rooms like the library and the wine room. The last he'd shown was the garden at the back. It was vast and it was beautiful. There was even some sort of maze made by the gardener. Lia turned to look again at Shea.
