An answering smile grew on Hester's face as she shook the vampire's hand gently."I'm glad you've accepted, and are so happy about it!My name is Hester Ilona Eldon, but I'd really prefer it if you called me Hester.I'm just going to talk to the merchants a little and then I'll be right back.We still need to see if the man you where just talking to wants to come."

Hester walked away again to speak with the merchants, and bargained with them about the two vampires. She didn't want to be premature about taking Moz away with her, without his agreement,so she managed to convince the merchants to get everything ready for two vampires even though she'd only payed for one. They would wait just a little while before getting the poetry vampire ready, and maybe her companion too.

Returning to the vampire holding area with the deed of ownership in her hands,Hester waited to see what the young looking vampire would say.She also waited to see how her new helper would answer the question she's asked.

Remaro 03-15-2011 05:48 PM

At the sound of the woman’s voice, he stiffened, eyes widening somewhat. Moz did not like the idea of being taken so soon. As he listened to her offer, a soft scowl settled over his lips as his eyes narrowed at the same time. Limited blood supply? Laborious work? Already he was disliking this human. He was quite tempted to turn and tell her to go away, in the ‘politest way possible’ of course.

However, the girl’s next words stopped Moz from dismissing her so swiftly. Slowly he glanced lazily over his shoulder with a bored expression then turned to face her properly. “A library? What genres do you possess in your library?” He questioned in a quiet tone, eyes remaining very slightly narrowed as he gazed coldly up to the human attempting to buy them both. He knew he wouldn’t cost much, not many were in the market for a kid looking vampire, even if he was a tracker.

As she went off to talk to the merchants, Moz turned back to Ariana, glancing briefly to Eclipse and slowly bowing his head in a brief nodding movement, his return ‘hello and good bye’. With a very soft smile, he reached out a small hand, lightly returning the hand shake as he listened to her poetry. He sighed quietly before lowering his eyes to the ground, hearing the return of the lady, Hester, before he saw her. The small vampire remained silent for a few more seconds before he finally lifted his gaze once more, staring at Hester directly in the eyes. “...What work am I expected to do exactly? I shall agree to you becoming my owner, but I would prefer to know what you expect of me, before I am taken away” He murmured softly.

PapillonCameo 03-15-2011 06:21 PM

Thinking carefully about her answers before she spoke ,Hester was caught by how very old his eyes looked. It was the strangest contrast ,such a knowing gaze, from someone who looked so young."My library has many books, both fiction and non-fiction.There are novels about pirates and grand adventures taking place in other worlds, these ones I've read often..Books of poetry abound ,there are biographies and histories as well. There are more too,I just can't think of them right now."

Before continuing Hester smiled a little at having so unexpectedly found others who shared her passion for novels."As for the work, well there is quite a lot of it.I was thinking of beginning by mapping my lands again, and seeing what work must be done on them. Depending on how bad it is I may or may not decide to start working on the mansion first.Everything needs to be cleaned, roofs repaired but I would need enough money to get a contractor.I doubt any of us know how to do that! Then there is going trough all the items...." She trailed off then realizing just how much work there was to do.

Talitha001 03-15-2011 06:27 PM

Ariana jumped up smiling. She reached her hand out to the vampire beside her and touched his shoulder gently.
"To work is good
To work with wood
Work hard as you can
to serve a man.
At the end of the day
Then you can say
I did my job as you comanded
Therefore I should not be repremanded."
She gave him a small gaze looking deep into his eyes hoping he caught her meaning in that. It was important to work hard and enjoy your work. Because then the rewards were great. Not to mention it would be better here than it would be with some high and mighty king who would treat them awful.

Marina finished changing and then opened her mouth.
"Mew Come to my room Mew."
She knew that with his keen hearing he should have no problems hearing her voice when she called him no matter where in her house he might be.

PapillonCameo 03-15-2011 06:40 PM

Hester was quite caught with the poetry of Ariana's words, and that made her remember that the merchants had said they where far too busy with the other vampire..Eclipse she thought was his name,to help with less dangerous ones. Quietly she slipped away to pay for Moz ,and after a growl from the guard, managed to get they keys for both of their iron chains as well as instructions for getting them out of the selling area.

Walking back to the fence she found her way inside and walked around Eclipse to reach Ariana and Moz."I think your poetry is wonderful Ariana." She looked down at the deed for the surly vampire so she knew his name."Moz and Ariana I'm going to start working on these chains,so don't move, I don't want to hurt either of you by accident."Bending down she found the hook on the end of each chain and after some struggling managed to get them free of the iron circles bound to the cement on the ground.

Remaro 03-15-2011 08:00 PM

Her words brought a brief spark of excitement flickering over his features. Just the mere description of the books made him want to crave them, made him want to begin reading them at once. Quickly allowing a surly expression back onto his face, he shrugged a little. “A wide range of options, certainly enough to keep me interested for the time being. As for the work...No doubt the humans have not told you, I have a talent in tracking. I would be able to track down the cheapest or best contractor in the area if needed. Manual tasks should be fine also, although this matter with blood is certainly something needing addressing” He answered quietly.

At the touch on his shoulder, he turned his head sharply, frowning and flinching away before relaxing somewhat and sighing. With a slight nod of his head, he smiled weakly. “I understand, although it won’t take away my disliking of work” He answered softly, gently returning the light touch on Ariana’s shoulder.

Moz let his new master walk away without him speaking any more. He leant back against the fence, grimacing a little and staring coldly down at the chain attaching him to the iron circle. When Hester began to speak again, he nodded slowly at the mention of his name. “Yes ma’am” He murmured quietly, remaining perfectly still as he had been ‘ordered’ to.

PapillonCameo 03-15-2011 08:24 PM

Holding the two chains in her hands,Hester stood and looked sadly at Moz.She hadn't meant her words to be an order,it had just come out that way.". Would both of you follow me please?Moz,if you have any suggestions about that problem would you please tell me?It'd be a great help." She began walking away from the area, but made sure to slow down so Ariana could say her good byes, and Moz too if he wished.

Then they where all in the streets with Hester wondering how she would find a carriage for hire who would bring them to Chrysalis manor for the little amount of money she had."Ariana, do you know where there are carriages around here? The one I hired seems to have rolled off without us."The chains where so cold,Hester wanted to get rid of the horrid things as soon as they got home. Hopefully Ariana and Moz wouldn't run away the moment they had the chance. She wouldn't stop them if that was what they chose.

Talitha001 03-15-2011 08:40 PM

Ariana happily followed the woman who had purchased them. She looked around curiously for a moment and then grabbed her hand pulling her towards a place she knew rented carriages. There was a man sitting on one who looked bored and Ariana pointed at him.

"Ride away free
I show you this from me
A way to get home
From this horrible tome."

She looked back at Moz and smiled at him reassuringly. Ariana was good at making sure that others were nice and if need be she was a fierce fighter. She would not let anyone hurt her new friend.

Remaro 03-15-2011 09:42 PM

Moz didn’t meet her gaze, practically feeling the sadness rolling off of his mistress as she watched him. Instead, he kept the stubborn frown on his features as he nodded curtly. Slowly the male vampire began to make his way after Hester, pausing only to nod briefly to Eclipse again, the only vampire other than Ariana he had actually known, if only briefly.

“Three of my old masters used to use themselves as blood donars, although my fourth hired servants who’s sole duty was to feed the vampire servants” He answered calmly. At Hester’s words, his mouth twitched slightly in amusement before he glanced around, still following the others in what could have been called a ‘moody silence’. However, Ariana’s reassuring glances and smiles seemed to soften the hard-hearted vampire, even if only slightly. “It isn’t that horrible Ariana, at least we had guaranteed meals” He pointed out, a silent dig at his new mistress.

[Is it alright if I time skip a bit because it seems an okay time to time skip? (confusing...) And sorry I haven't posted in so long I was just waiting.]

Dahlia and Dylan were on the road to the vampire market once again, a few days later, which was sooner than Dylan had expected. The nobles from Roseland were urging them to just get a vampire slave or a few and get the whole thing over with. Dahlia took a piece of lightly frosted chocolate cake from the silver platter on the seat across them in their carriage and ate it slowly, watching the passing scenery. Kicking off her shoes, she crossed her fishnet-clad legs and nibbled some more on the cake. "Dahlia, sit up!" Dylan scolded, noting her un-ladylike behavior and the fact that her skirt was riding up.
"Hmm...there seem to be different vampires this time." Dahlia chirped in a melodic voice and stuck a red rose in her hair. "I wonder if there will be one suited for us..." They arrived at the market and entered, observing. Dylan was known for taking a long time and having trouble making up his mind, so Dahlia sighed as he straightened his hat adorned with feathers and scanned the area. "Just hurry up, Dylan."

Arechi 03-15-2011 11:20 PM

(Well I wouldn't object completely to a time skip, although a few days might be a bit too much at the moment since vampies are still being worked on being taken to their new homes. >.> And we don't want them burning up and dying in the sunlight before then. xD)

PapillonCameo 03-16-2011 01:11 AM

After Ariana had spoken Hester had walked over to the man and arranged for their passage back to their home. She wanted to be there well before daybreak, she felt very protective of these new people in her life. Then she turned to Moz after motioning Ariana to get into the carriage without saying a word."I'll do my best, but you know very well that I can't feed the both of you from myself or I shall become one of you.I quite like my mortality. There are no servants,so that's out of the question...Actually none of the blood I have on hand is fresh. She blushed in embarrassment."The hospital where I volunteer kindly said they would provide blood until I can get the manor running again, which will take some time even with you and Ariana helping.I apologize,I really do."

Knowing Ariana had heard everything Hester got into the carriage and waited for Moz to climb in also. She still couldn't believe that people could actually mistake him for someone young.Turning to Ariana after telling the driver to set off the young woman spoke a little worriedly."Will you mind sleeping in the library? It's the only place that's in good repair. The drapes are very thick you can check them when we get there . If you think it will do then I'll just..." Flustered by her inability to deal with Ariana and Moz on equal footing ,Hester sighed. She wanted them to trust her, just like she wanted to trust them. Already she felt that Ariana was a friend.Moz on the other hand was a true puzzle.

(I don't mind skipping after we have Ariana and Moz look at the library to see if sleeping there will suit them.}

Dear Lelie 03-16-2011 01:17 AM

{it doesn't matter to me. Once I have eclipse back at Lani's I'll be all set =D}

The green haired vampire heard his name called. Jumping up he ran from the garden. Wiping his feet he then scampered up into his master's room. "Missie, I'm out here... may I come in?" Mew questioned as he stood outside. The young man felt it would be rude to just bust into her room so he felt he should ask to go into her room.

Remaro 03-17-2011 05:39 PM

Moz raised an eyebrow to the woman as she continued to speak to him about the issue of having enough blood. Well, if need be he could always drink her dry and go back on sale. Of course, Ariana had seemed to take a liking to Hester so he didn’t mention this thought out loud. With a slight shrug, he slowly stepped into the carriage, not acknowledging the woman’s blush of embarrassment, after all, why should he care? It would be better for the woman not to feel comfortable around him, it wasn’t as if he would become, he shuddered at this thought, fond of the creature.

Keeping an aloof expression, he sat beside Ariana, nodding slightly. “I understand, and blood is blood, no matter where it comes from” He stated calmly, running a pale hand briefly through his blonde hair. Again Moz continued to listen to the poor girl flustering and attempting to speak with them. It almost made his lips curl up in amusement, although he fought to hide the smile. “A library should be fine, there are normally plenty of places to hide from the sun and prying eyes, I am sure it will do well” He answered in a calm, if slightly bored tone, not looking over to Hester as he spoke.

Hana_Ryuzkai 03-17-2011 05:45 PM

Eclair sat quietly, in the study of her home, reading a book about vampire care. The book was rather worn out but this didn't stop her from continuing to read it. Her younger brother strode into the room presenting a a stapled bunch of papers.
"I am a genius!" he stated proudly as he stopped in front of his sister and thrust the paper into her direction.
"And why would that be?" Eclair asked not looking up from her book.
"SIS!!" the boy whined "LOOOOOKKKK!" he continued and waved the paper in front of her. With a sigh the young woman looked up and examined the papers. It was a math test and it seemed that her little brother got an A+.
"Ohh, very goo John," she said with a smile. The boy responded with a puffed chest and a slightly bigger ego."Just do that on all the other tests you fail on and you'll definitely be a genius!" She said a small smirk on her face as she watched her brothers ego become crushed. The woman gave a small giggle and closed her book as her brother took two steps away and plopped onto the couch.
"Now now, no need to be moody!" She said standing from her seat and going to her brothers. "I'm just stating what you need to do!" She added as she sat down and pulled the boy into her arms. He went along willingly and made himself conferable as his sister stroked his head and played with his hair.
"Its not my fault, all of the teachers hate me!" He muttered causing Eclair to heave a small sigh.
"I don't think they hate you John!" Eclair said and patted the boys shoulder.
"THEY DOO!" he stated sitting up quickly. "I do all my home work, turn it all in on time, i play nice with EVERYONE-"
"Even the girls!?" Eclair cut in.
"Even the girls!" John replied. "And i still get bad grades in 3 out of 6 classes!" He complained.
"Well what classes?" Eclair asked tilting her head to the side.
"Math, German, and World culture!" He stated with a pout. "And their two of them are taught by the same teacher and the other one is taught by his WIFE!" He stated. "I know their both out to get me!" He added with a pout. Eclair could only have a sigh and pat her brothers head. Their was nothing she could do about the teachers, if anything both of their parents would have to do something.
"Well all I can suggest is that you suck up to mom and dad!" Eclair said in a bell tone. This suggestion only made John look at her blankly, their was no way he was EVER going to go back to his parents home and suck up to them.
"NO, I REFUSE!" he shouted and caused his sister to laugh.
"Then suck up to the teachers, if your grade doesn't improve then ill see what i can do!" she said grabbing John up in her arms and squeezing him tightly. The boy groaned and whined about being hugged so tightly and tried to squirm out of his sisters grasp but to no evale. This display of sisterly affection continued for a few more minutes till Eclair let go of John and stood up.
"Well i think its bed time,"She said as she fixed her skirt and picked up the book she had been reading. "I think tomorrow we should go see what kind of vampires we can buy!" She said placing the word "buy" into finger quotations. This made johns face lighten up and he became very excited.
"YEAH!" he exclaimed now looking very excited."we should get a really cool guy!" he stated standing on the couch and bounced in the cushions. Eclair giggled a little before pulling the boy off of the couch and leading him to bed.

Arechi 03-17-2011 05:57 PM

Eclipse was slightly surprised that Ariana seemed to have a warm sort of attitude towards her new master. "Well until our paths cross again" he said quietly as his gaze went towards the two vampires that had left. "If you wish to still check tomorrow night go ahead, although I doubt that either one of them will be here again. But again as long as she isn't alone then it doesn't matter" the raven haired male replied, his tone still frigid and icy though still relatively calm. He allowed another sigh to escape as his gaze came to turn almost unwillingly towards his new 'master'. "Yes I suppose I'm as ready as I'll ever be. Besides it's better to leave before the sun rises anyways. I'd much rather not remain here and burn to my death" the male said coolly as he awaited for the woman to move with the chains, so as not to encounter the iron.

PapillonCameo 03-17-2011 09:28 PM

The carriage moved on ,and the occupants lapsed into silence as Hester tried to think of how to deal with Moz. Ariana was a delight,no trouble at all, and wouldn't be collared. The vampiress would be virtually free. It would be dangerous to put such trust in Moz though,he was so closed up. There was no way of knowing what he would do with that kind of autonomy. A wry smile appeared on Hester's face as she thought that given the chance he would probably kill her without a second thought.

Slowly the driver pulled into the bumpy driveway, and stopped in front of the run down manor. There where too many broken windows to count, weeds had grown all around the somber place. Then there was the troubling roof, parts of it nearly caved in. Silently Hester hopped out of the carriage with the chains binding her companions in her hand. She waited until they'd gotten down from the carriage and it had driven off before saying anything.

Before she did so Hester removed both clip and collar from Ariana.Addressing the white haired vampire with a smile,Hester said, " You can explore as much as you want.Actually would you mind doing so? I'll give you a map showing the boundaries of the estate, after that maybe you could come tell me what might need to be done around here!"

Turning to Moz the smile slipped away from her face."I'm sorry, but so far you haven't really shown any good will towards me...So I cannot allow you such freedom.But...Wait ,I want to show you something!" Excitement entered her voice as she thought of the only place in the Manor that was in perfect condition. She led Moz into the dusty, humid interior letting Ariana decide for herself whether she wanted to enter or not.Old musty paintings hung on the walls beside dull tapestries ,the floors where cold and there was no warmth anywhere until they reached the library. A warm glow emanated from the place, perfectly clean and well kept. The wood gleamed ,and around the fire place where nig comfy armchairs that you could sink into."In here, this place. It's the only part of the Manor I've been able to save. Here ,and only here are you allowed to roam free without collar.I feel horrible for having to order this, but until I know you ...Until the time when I know in what way you truly regard me under that facade of yours,it must be so." After this little explanation,Hester removed the collar from Moz's neck carefully and nervously. She stepped away from him,as she would from a lion.

(Is it alright that I got everyone into the Manor?)

Remaro 03-17-2011 10:10 PM

Moz kept his gaze firmly on the scenery that passed them by for the duration of the journey. Every so often he would lightly tap his fingers against his knees, looking impatient to get out of the carriage. The young looking vampire had always hated travelling in these things, he felt far too confined and it wasn’t as if he couldn’t run just as fast as the carriage could move, he was a vampire after all. Movement was caught in the corner of his eye and he paused in his own thoughts to spare Hester a brief glance, watching the wry smile flickering over the woman’s lips. It caused him to raise an eyebrow in a mixture of suspicion and curiosity before he turned away again, becoming automatically disinterested.

The second the driver pulled up at the driveway, Moz stared up at the manor, a soft sneer hovering on his own features as he saw the run down building, the place he was now stuck living in. It looked more like a hovel then a manor, but he could hardly complain. He had yet to know whether or not his mistress was the type to act sweet and kind, then turn the complete opposite seconds later. Swiftly and easily, the blonde vampire stepped out of the carriage, reaching up sub-consciously to tap at the chains that bound him entirely to the woman, making his sleeve cover his hand as he did this. He had been so busy studying his new ‘home’ that it was only after Hester had begun speaking that he realised Ariana had been freed from her chain. He had not.

Turning his piercing gaze to Hester, Moz’s eyes narrowed somewhat as he listened to her explanation, seeing the smile vanishing when the girl turned to face him. He pursed his lips, the only outward sign of his irritation, before he nodded sharply, following Hester as obediently as he could force himself to be, his feet shuffling a little as he was led into the manor. Occasionally he would pause to take a quick look at the paintings and tapestries, observing them in dull interest.

For the second time in a short while, his eyes widened a little in surprise as he finally arrived at the new room. Already, he could tell he would like it, would enjoy spending time in the vast library. It had a sense of time, that the volumes it hid amongst its shelves could easily be ancient, books he had never read. Whilst he couldn’t really feel the warmth, he knew this was the best place in the entire manor for it. Moz’s interest was distracted once more by Hester. Turning to gaze at his mistress, he remained silent before slowly bowing a head. “I understand, it is a wise decision which has proven to me you are not as foolish, or unintelligent as I may have mistaken you to be” He answered quietly, another smirk lifting the corners of his lips as he spoke.

Moz watched her approaching him, moving hesitantly and cautiously, it almost made him laugh at how nervously she was acting, now that she was potentially giving him the chance to attack and kill her. Moz allowed Hester to step away from him before he moved, taking a few steps back himself. “Do not worry Miss Hester, for now I will not hurt you, for Ariana’s sake...Thank you for taking me to your library, I can tell I shall enjoy searching for new literature” He answered softly, shifting his gaze to the direction of the shelves again.

((I'm fine with it :D))

PapillonCameo 03-17-2011 10:28 PM

Every muscle in her body was tense,as she gazed at this enigmatic person before her. What kinds of things must he have lived,to become as he was? What horrors had humans done to him,so that he trusted them not a wit more then he had to? Hester was glad Moz had stepped away from her when he had.The woman wasn't quite sure what she would have done,if he'd decided to move closer ,rather then further ,to her.

She was overjoyed that her library, her own joyous sanctuary and treasure trove , could bring happiness to another even if the one in question hated her. For the moment she forgot about what he was,and how he apparently thought of her.The fact that he could kill her then, even after saying that he would not for the sake of another vampire like that...She forgot all that in finding someone else who might enjoy her treasures as much as she did.Hester put her hand on Moz's arm."What do you like reading? I might be able to find something to interest you if I knew that. These books aren't put away in order,I find it more interesting to go treasure hunting in the shelves.I look for one book and end up climbing down that ladder over there with five more then I wanted!" A true smile shone on Hester's face as she looked at the books she'd so carefully preserved when everything else was going into ruin.Without knowing it she'd moved even closer to Moz.So close that any movement of his would cause him to come into contact with her own form.

Talitha001 03-18-2011 12:22 AM

(a rule with vampires is they can not enter unless you actually invite them in the first time. You told Moz to come with you but not Ariana so shes kinda stuck outside >.>)

Ariana followed them as far as the doorway. She stopped outside of it and looked up at the house. She could not enter as of yet as vampires had to be invited before they could enter an estate. She looked around the porch and frowned. It was definitly tore up. She slowly walked around it picking up several broken items and tossing them into a pile. She then went to the flower beds and began to tear up the weeds and dead plants putting them into the pile also. Since she could not enter the house right now perhaps she should just get to work.

PapillonCameo 03-18-2011 12:53 AM

Hester remembered something even amidst her musings about her books. Vampires where supposed to be invited inside the first time, then she recalled telling Ariana that she could explore as much as she wanted to.In her mind she'd meant inside the Manor also. Wouldn't that mean that she'd already invited her withing her home? All those rules that she had to remember about these new beings within her home! With an apprehensive look at Moz,Hester ran out to find Ariana.

The poet was outside, already working on cleaning the place up."Ariana! I apologize,I didn't mean to keep you out. Please, come into your new home. Roam as freely within as you wish." Quietly Hester stopped Ariana from grasping another piece of wood."That reminds me both you and Moz must be hungry...But I only have enough for one, would you mind having that? From what our other house mate has said he's used to fresher stuff. I intend to give up some of my own blood to make up for the lack." Walking to the big iron bound doors Hester waited for Ariana to follow, anxious to please both these people.

Talitha001 03-18-2011 12:58 AM

Ariana stopped working and looked at the lady. She smiled slightly and followed her. She did not speak but only nodded her head yes. She did not want this lady to hurt herself to feed them and she let her face furrow into a frown.
"No need to hurt yourself for us.
You have already been to generous."
She skipped off to find Moz and giggled at him. She went up to him and gave him a hug.
"Hello Moz.
Your as sweet as a rose.
You are my best friend.
And I never want this to end."

PapillonCameo 03-18-2011 01:18 AM

Following Ariana into the library she smiled when she saw the two friends...Yes ,they where friends bound together because of the way humans treated them. Quietly she left them alone and made the long trek into the basement where she'd stored the little blood she'd been able to get from the hospital on such short notice. There was only really enough for one,and only for a day or two.

Hester nearly ran back to the library with a bottle in her hand.Giving it to Ariana she spoke."It's only right that I make up for bringing Moz here, when he just wants to be anywhere but here...This is the only thing I can think of.Besides neither of you would do well on half rations. It's important to me that both of you are happy here.I know that might be hard for some to understand, and that my peers will think me crazy for the idea, but then again they already think so for the way I cling to this place." Turning away she went to grab a book at random from one of the shelves. Taming the Untamed: Meeting the Beast Within , it was a theory book about the beast that resided in everyone and making peace with it.Hester thought it quite fitting, and pretended to start reading.

Remaro 03-18-2011 08:06 AM

Moz hadn’t been looking at the human, but he did hear her movements. He had simply presumed she was moving away from him again. However at the contact on his arm he stiffened and an actual growl sounded from his throat as he twisted sharply, attempting to move himself away from Hester. As she spoke, the woman drew even closer, if that was possible. It put Moz even more on edge as he hissed softly. “I can find books on my own, I am a tracker remember? I just need to think of a title, otherwise I will simply wander” He murmured softly, attempting to shift further away to make more space between the two.

The moment Hester bounded away to fetch Ariana, Moz let out a sigh of relief, shaking his head a little. Watching the door apprehensively, he slowly started to wander along the shelving, gently trailing a single finger across the spines of the old books. A pleasant smile flickered to his lips as he paused by one. Closing his eyes, Moz’s face furrowed into a frown of concentration. A few seconds later, he was rushing swiftly down the shelving, eyes still closed as he turned easily, not hitting a single object in his movement. Coming to a halt, he turned rapidly, a hand reaching out and resting on a single book before he opened his eyes again, smirking when he’d discovered the book he’d been searching for. ‘Call of the Wild’. It was his favourite tale to read.

Moz had been deep in concentrating on the words and lines of the book. However he stiffened and glanced around as he felt the hug from behind. Blinking a little, Moz raised an eyebrow, gently closing the book to hold it in one hand and lightly patting the other’s head. “You are a very strange vampire” He answered in a half joking tone, resting the hand on her shoulder in a weak attempt at a return hug.

Once more he glanced up, gazing at Hester as she returned fairly quickly, holding a small bottle of what he could already smell was blood. He could feel the sharpness of his fangs and had to divert his gaze to try and ignore the blood. “I can last without blood for a short period, Miss Hester, just a small sip, three times a day will be fine, barely even drops. As I said before, I cannot and will not kill you” He stated calmly, not looking up as he spoke, instead starting to concentrate on the book again. Or at least, he tried to.

PapillonCameo 03-18-2011 12:38 PM

Hester was surprised when she looked up from her book to see Moz actually being nice. Putting the book aside gently, marking her page with a stray scrap of paper, she went to sit beside Moz. Smiling she looked at Ariana then at Moz."And we both know why you wouldn't ,don't we? The woman rolled up the sleeve of her grey dress on her left arm as high as it would go.

Tremors ran up down her frame at the thought of what she was about to do.Or what Moz would do to her.Even after he'd said he could go a while without drinking blood, and then even only a little, she still felt guilty for the way others had treated him. It wasn't her fault if he'd been horribly treated, but the young woman felt responsible for what others of her race had done."You can take some of my blood,if you want.I won't object, but if you do decide to do so...Please try not to hurt me more then necessary?" Hester placed her wrist on his book gently, marking the page and getting his attention at the same time.
