Oh goodness... WANT! It is so beautiful. It is kind of simple but the details are there, it is very well drawn and colored, the form is right proper, and I completely love it. Do you have an art shop? I would LOVE a piece from you if yes. |

A note on kimonos and obis(assuming it is one; I don't know all of the traditional clothing). They're usually a pretty layered type of clothing thus the actual form of the figure is somewhat lost. The obis are usually very wide and thus only add to the overall loss of curves. They appear a bit flat and straight mostly. Yukatas are less layered, but I'm still seeing the same effect. I'm not trying to pick at your art! Sorry if it comes off that way. :sweat: I don't think your style is trying to be realistic and it is your art; so it will be expressed how you like it. Just wanted to share some information on the clothing. :yes: Clothing is only covering the body, not taking its place. So you still want to imagine what the form would look like without clothing to make sure it's to your liking. |
