"I can imagine "he said to her. He then looked at Ariel. "So tell me, is there anyway to cure my Amnesia? "he asked her.

"We could try hypnosis or you could wait for it to come to you or you can try to remember." Ariel said starting to clean up the table with Finx's help.

"I don't have the time to wait before they come back naturally, and trying hasn't helped. Let's see if this 'hypnosis' thing works......though, if you use it and make me a slave in this house, I will be pissed. "he said, suspecting them of such.

They both grinned "I hadn't thought of that." Ariel said with a dark chuckled "Please sit on the couch I'll get my pocket watch." she hurried off.

"Why the fuck did I open my mouth?...."Mordecai said, and sat down on the couch, revealing his wings. He hated having them tied up.

Ariel come back with a pocket watch "Know I want you to watch the watch it's going to make you feel tried and you will sleep." she swung the watch in front of his face.

He watched the watch swing, feeling an odd sense of pacifism. He soon fell asleep.

"Good know when I want you to focus there is no block between you and you're memories." Ariel said smiling softly.

It worked half-way. It only unlocked a Certain memory.

Standing before the bodies of his brethren, his blade soaked in blood, Mordecai looked around at the Dark-red cloud ridden world around him. He then saw one figure : Rena. He looked at her, and held up his blade "You there! Who are you, what do you want?!"

(Basically, Rena strikes a deal with Mordecai, to have him help her rise back to power in the mortal world, and she sends him back in time.)

"Now you will wake and remember what you see." Ariel snapped her fingers

Mordecai woke up, and held his head. He now had a blistering head-ache, as if he'd gone through some mental barrier. "ugh!......I .....met Rena before. I don't know what the meeting means, but I met her.....My head hurts like hell, you have anything for it? "He asked.

"Asprine." Ariel stood "I'll get you some." she went off.

"So you meet Rena before...wonder why she didn't say anything." Finx pouted.

"I still say your more beautiful then her. " he said, nodding in thanks to ariel

"I wouldn't know." Finx said with a smirk

Ariel come back with asprin and juice "Here."

"Thank you, you are very kind. "he said, taking them. He then looked at Finx "It doesn't matter, for I know it's the truth. "he said.

Finx blushed "I am pretty aren't I."

"No, Your not pretty. Your Breath-takingly beautiful. Your like.....um.....what's the best description. "he said, snapping his fingers. "Oh yes! Aphrodite, to the Greeks."

Finx blinked "That's really not a great comparison Aph was a hoe who slept around even though she had a husband."

"I mean in terms of beauty. "He said to her, realizing how stupid the Comparison was. "Look, I'm not saying your a hoe, I'm saying your absolutely stunning. "he said.

"i know what you meant just don't use aph ever again." Finx grinned "i am nothing like my nephews daughter." her voice changed briefly to Rena's

"-and just who, exactly, is 'that'? I don't think anyone can surpass you finx. "He said, not noticing.

"You tooo are cute." Ariel said with sigh "I remember falling in love...a year later I gave birth to you're brother."

"Thanks, I guess....oh finx! The Mechanic downtown hired me, thanks to the fact of how easily I fix cars, bless my powers for that, so I got a part-time job" he said

"That's great that means I can keep my job as well." Finx beamed happily "Not like I want to stop hunting jewels I just like doing it." she blushed realizing how strange she sounded.

"Oh yea, that reminds me! Guild master finally gave us a proper assignment, were going on a real exploration mission " he said. " they apparently found a set of ruins in the beach cave we were at the other day. We've been told to check it out"
