"Can we go now?" Finx asked excited "Lets go now."

"Sure, but you drive" he said, tying his wings to his back. He then got in the car, and gave her directions. When they got back to the cave, they found a section of ruins. Excavators were waiting on them

"Let's go." Finx said grabbing a flashlight and rushing in.

Inside was carvings of Heilos, the founder of the town. There were many inscriptions, all written In a dead language . However, In the deepest section of the cave was something astounding : the burial cairn of Heilos himself. There was a Sarcophagus, and a large chest. On the lid of said chest, was a scroll

Finx picked up unrolling it holding her flashlight up so she could read it.

"Let me read it " he said, looking over her shoulder " 'I leave this place enchanted, so that only my descendent may enter at will.....'....wait.....your moms a descendent of Heilos?" He asked "or does she not mnow

"She probably doesn't know." Finx said with a soft frown she heard a crunch and then felt air under her feet with a gasp she disappeared into a hole barely managing to hang onto the ledge.

Mordecai grabbed on to her arm. Since his wings were bound, he could not lift her up easily" this....this is why I don't like my wings bound " he said, trying to pull her up

Finx scrambled against the edge trying to use her legs to help him pull her up till the ground gave way under them sending them spiraling into the dark.

Mordecai managed to cushion her fall, but knocked himself unconscious.

Finx slammed into him groaning softly she sat up "Mordecai?" she whispered unable to see him in the dark.

He was unable to respond, being out cold. You did see your flashlight at his side

FInx gropped around finding her flashlight turing it on she saw he was out cold. "Crap." *I can heal him* rena's voice said in her mind. "Really?" *of course* Rena scoffed *just give me control for a few seconds and I'll do it* "Ok." Finx let her take hold with a deep breath her hands glowed light blue and pressed it against his head closing her eyes she focused healing his wounds.

"Ugh.....why do I always hit my head....though, if I have a beautiful nurse like you, finx, I'm happy to hurt myself" he said, rubbing his head

"I'm not Finx." Rena said with a sigh holding her head "God that hurts I...I think I over did it." she groaned letting Finx out "Oh my head!" She leaned against him

"Soon as I can feel my legs, I'll get us out....not bad for a first mission, aye? We managed to find out your family's royalty" he said

"And then we almost get killed." FInx hugged him "I was so scared we where done for."

"Don't worry, little Finx. I'll get us out of here, you'll be safe with me. "he said, getting up. He then lifted her on his back, and flew up. "Just a side note, I'm not tying my wings again. This is EXACTLY why I didn't want to do it in the first place...."

Finx frowned "As long as you don't show them in public I'm fine with it." she clung to his neck her eyes closed.

They got out of the cave, and excavators ran in. "So, you ready to present this to Town hall? Or would you rather show your mother first? She should be ecstatic that she's Royal blood. "he said.

"Well I think we should tell mom." Finx smiled at him clinging to his arm like she wouldn't let go.

"Alright. "He said, getting her into the car. He drove them back, and they arrived at her house. "should we just be blunt, and tell her : Your the Descendent of a former king?" he asked.

"May not the direct we don't need her passing out." Finx chuckled starting the car. "i'll think of something."

They walked in. Mordecai brought Ariel into the room " okay finx, here she is" he said

"Mom we found something out." Finx handed her the scroll her mom sat down "Wow I had heard tales from my grandparents but I never believed them." Ariel said with a smile "By the way you're friend called Finx she wanted you to come to a party." Finx smiled "I'll call her back...you're sure you're ok with this mom?" she asked "What can I do?" Ariel shrugged "Just have fun tonight and come back safe." she went off to digest the info. "Want to go to a party?" Finx asked Mordecai
