Mordecai held up the badge, and teleported to her Job, with her 10 minutes early. "Gotta love this badge......I'll talk to you later, I gotta head to this club 'Fear-mist' Some guy offered me a job as a DJ "he said.

"Have fun." Finx smiled at him "I'll pick you up after." she hurried to get to the bathroom in the store next door before going to work happy for once.

Mordecai got to the Club, and was hired (obviously). He then started laying out beats for the Club, getting people into the Groove of things. Time to earn that paper, he thought.

At the end of her shift Finx come out to see that her car tire's were slashed "MY BABY!" she screeched. "Oh no." she cried a little.

"Are you alright?" A voice asked causing her to look up to see a beautiful woman staring at her.

"I'm alright but my car's not." FInx reached into her pocket for her phone. "Of course it's dead." she sighed it seemed like she had just charged the thing.

"Perhaps I can help." the lady said with a smile

"No I'll just use the phone inside." Finx went to go back inside but the lady stopped her

"I insist ." her "I'll bring you to the car station." the lady went to her car and held the door open.

As Finx went to slid in Rena's voice popped into her mind *DON'T* she froze *Free me quickly* before she could do anything the lady grabbed her arm and threw her into the backseat.

"You should not be alone Rena-sama." The lady said

"What?" Finx jumped as a man appeared next to her shinning white with huge wings "Oh crap." she didn't get to see much else as the man easily knocked her out.

Mordecai was supposed to stay longer, but he felt a strong of familiarity. He left to 'take a smoke' and teleported to Finx's job, just to see the guy with huge wings. Ripping off his shirt, and pulling out his wing's (Total bitch, mind you) He ran towards finx "Get away from her!" He yelled, flying upward.

The lady slipped into the front seat and drove off with Finx in the backseat. "We will not allow the dark goddess to return." the guy said "You would do well to stay out of are way brother."

"Brother?!.......who are you......who am I?" he asked, wondering at the strange sense of familiarity.

"You are an angel all angels are related in a weird way." The guy smiled "Please just stay out of it." he took off quickly disappearing.

He took off after him, stone-headed to find finx before it was too late.

He couldn't find him anywhere it was like he had just disappeared for real. He did find Finx's father however who was talking angrily to a demon.

"Where is she?! "Mordecai ran up, and grabbed him, nearly choking him.

"Let go you idiot." Her father pulled away "I'm not sure yet angels are hard to find." he sighed "I told her not to go to work today. Only to things will come from this. One she dies two Rena's powers blossom completely and she destroys half the town. Neither situation I like." he pushed a hand threw his hair suddenly a demon appeared "We found them." Her father smiled "Good take us there." he gripped the demons arm then grabbed Mordecai's hang on." they transported landing outside a empty building.

"I'll kill them......I'll kill them......I'll kill them."You would feel Mordecai's rage, and power, reaching a staggering point.

"Easy or they'll notice us." Her father said "We are ready my lord." a demon said "Good." Her father made to go forward but stopped "Get down." he shoved Mordecai underneath him as a blast of black energy ripped the building apart and destroyed everything in it's path thanks to her father's shield the both survived intact. "Crap." he said wincing in pain.

Mordecai got up, and ran towards the area. "Finx!? Are you okay?!"

"Idiot get back here." Her father yelled after him. A figure rose from the rubble glowing black "You will never kill me again." Rena said a evil smile on her face.

"Rena......"Mordecai stopped in front of her. "I want to know.....what deal did we make? I remember that we made a deal, but I can't remember what it was. What did you want from me, to make you let me live?" he asked.

Rena smiled at him "You really are interesting."

"Interesting? What do you mean?" He asked

"You were the only angel who believed I should live so when they time come I gave you a small amount of my power so that you could help me find the pieces to my shattered amulet." Rena grinned "You betrayed you're brother's and sister's for me." she chuckled "Guess you could say we were lovers back then."

"Okay....wow "Mordecai held his head. "that's something you don't hear everyday : Learning you betrayed your brother's and sister's for a worthy cause, and was the lover of The person that could challenge god.....hell, I'd still agree with it. "he said. He then focused his mind on what he could recognize as Rena's power, and formed it into a ball. "Here : I believe this is your's" he said, tossing it to her.

Rena caught it absorbing it back into her body "Now I can kill all those who stood against me." she grinned at him "Thanks." she vanished.
"NO!" Her father cursed "Damn it."

Mordecai looked at the Teleportation badge, and sucked in a breath. He then held it up. "To Finx. "he said, and teleported. He hoped that, wherever this was taking him, was to the women he loved.

Rena stood in the middle of a clearing staring down a bunch of angel who were watching one that had stepped forward "Figure's Gabriel would want to die first." With a laugh she picked up a sword from the ground "Come then." she easily dodged his attacks

" Paradise Song!" Mordecai yelled, as a Blast knocked Gabriel back. "Lady Rena, We need to leave. We can't have you fight these idiots, your not ready. "Mordecai said.
