"Nothing. Why?" Misaki asked, a bit curious. He didn't have any plans. Besides, it wasn't like he had any friends to hang out with. The brunette mentally scolded himself. If he kept up with that attitude, then he wasn't ever going to end up with any friends. So, he was going to try to be a bit more cheerful about it.

Usami smiled when he heard this. Maybe he would take the brunette to a hot spring or something. Or maybe out of town. He knew that he would need to go out of town after this week. He was getting ready for another one of his oh so wonderous book signings. He hated them more than he did than interviews. He hated the noise, the loud screaming fan girls. It made him want to gouge his eyes out and wish that he was deaf. "I was just wondering," said Usami. "Maybe we can go out of town later this weekend or something."

Misaki thought about it for a while. Then the brunette smiled slightly and nodded. "Alright. That sounds good to me." he said. Its been a while since he's had the chance to get out of the city. So, it would be pretty fun. Though he wasn't sure why Usagi wanted to take him out. Not that he was going to complain though.

Usami raised an eyebrow when he heard the other speak. Had his ears truly deceived him? Was the other agreeing with him? Be that as it may, the two of them had gone on dates before so this time it wasn't going to be any different, except for the fact that he knew that he was going to try and confess to the other male again. He decided that since it was already the end of the first day of the week, Monday, and that they were going on Friday after the two of them were done with school and work he would have to hurry and make some form of arrangements so they could actually go somewhere. Glancing at the food in front of him he ate the rest of it. After he was done he looked at the other male, thanked him for the meal and then said,"Well if we are planning on going anywhere then I need to begin to get the plans in motion. Is there anywhere in particular that you want to go or see. Maybe we can get a place or something around the area you want to go to."

Misaki thought about it as he finished eating. "Well.. I've always wanted to go to a hot spring." the brunette admitted. It was really the only place he wanted to go. Takahiro said that he would take him if he had the money, but his brother never did. Besides, there wasn't time for them to just go out and have fun. Not that the brunette was mad at his brother for that. He just wanted to be able to have fun with him every once in a while.

Usami looked at the other male as he stopped his ascent towards the top of the stairs. "A hotspring," said Usami. "I think I know the perfect place that we can go then. I am heading up to get the necessary information, and I will be making some calls tomorrow morning to get everything set up." Glancing at the clock he decided that he would probably end up finishing half of what he started since it was so late. Walking up the rest of the stairs he made his way to his study where he began to look at the various things that they could do while at the hotspring.

"Alright." Misaki said. He finished cleaning up in the kitchen before going to the bathroom and taking a shower. It had been a long boring day. But the brunette was looking forward to be able to go to a hotspring. That would be great! For now, it was off to get some sleep to get through school tomorrow. With that in mind, he finished his shower, got dressed, and collapsed on his bed, tired.

Looking at some of the various things in front of him he decided that the first thing that he would do was get some things sent to his E=mail so that he could look at them in the days to come. The first thing that he needed to do was find a place for them to stay for the weekend. He had a few ideas about where the two of them could spend some time together, alone, but he decided that he would research more tomorrow as he yawned. Getting up from his chair he made his way to his room, noting the brunette was probably asleep by now. Walking into his room he closed the door behind him, and then changed quickly as he went falling to his bed as sleep consumed him.

Misaki was up bright and early again. Groaning, he rolled out of bed and headed downstairs to make breakfast. Yawning, the brunette stumbled into the kitchen. It was to early to be up. But his classes started early today, so he wanted to be ready to go. So, he made some eggs and toast for breakfast since it would be faster along with some coffee. He couldn't see Usagi, so figured he was still asleep. So no point making him something that would just be ruined by the time he got up, right? At least, that's what he told himself.

Usami, who had been having an oh so wondrous dream about a certain brunette woke up with a start. He looked around his room. Sometimes the things in it gave him the creeps. The eyes of the toys never moving. Sometimes he wondered why he had gone to such lengths to have collected all of this stuff. He tried to go back to sleep, but sleep would not come to him. Stretching a little in his bed he could hear that there was movement coming from downstairs. He knew that it was early, and he wondered briefly why the other male was up so early. He wanted to go back to bed, but then he remembered the promise that he had told Misaki when he had first arrived at the condo. They would eat their meals together. Dragging himself out of bed, he dressed quickly, opened the door, and began walking down the stairs.

When Misaki saw Usagi coming down the stairs, he smiled slightly. "Good morning, Usagi-san." he said. Though he wasn't sure why he was up so early. Didn't matter though. The brunette just started making him so food as well, yawning quietly. It really was to early. But, he could always take a nap after school. When the food was done, he poured them both a cup of coffee before setting the table and sitting down.

Usami looked at the other male as he came to a stop in front of the dining table. Sitting down he closed his eyes as he willed a splitting headache to go away. He knew that he would probably not have a good rest of the day, but he was a man of his word which meant that he would always eat his meals with the other male. "Morning," he managed to whisper out as he saw the cup of coffee and the food placed in front of him. He took in a quick whiff and smiled as he smelled the scent of coffee enter his nose. He always did love freshly brewed coffee. Opening his eyes he looked at the other male and said," Thank you for making this meal, but why are you up so early?" He knew that the other probably had an early morning class, but he wanted the silence to be broken since it was becoming rather awkward.

"Early class today. Otherwise I'd gladly stay in bed." Misaki said, yawning quietly again. He began eating silently. He needed to get moving soon. Otherwise he was going to be late and he couldn't afford to be late. The only good thing about going in early was going home sooner. Which meant he had more time to just hang around and do nothing. Its times like this when he wanted someone to talk to besides Usagi or his brother.

Usami smiled a little bit as he continued to eat. He was glad that the other male was finally taking an interest in his studies. That also meant that with Misaki gone earlier he could get more sleep, or if he really felt adventurous he could begin working on a plan on what to do the coming weekend. "What classes are you going to be going to today?" asked Usami as he took another bite of food.

"Not much. Just my Literature class." Misaki said. It was one of his least favorite classes. And it was hard to focus when he was in that class. Especially with all the reading they had to do in that class. He just hoped it wouldn't be to hard today since it was way to early for focusing.

((Sorry for taking so long to get back. I've been in between two jobs right now, and I've been getting training for the new one. So that is where I have been)).
Usami smirked a little bit when he heard that he would be going to his literature class. He wondered if his old friend was still teaching that class. That left him with some good memories. He remembered when he was younger and how the two of them met. He had just come back to Japan after being in England with his mother. He had come to live with his father. Thinking about his family though left him with a bitter taste on his mouth. He didn't really like thinking about his childhood much. "That sounds interesting," said Usami as he finished the rest of his meal. With Misaki out of the house he would be able to do more research on something for them to do that weekend. |

"Not really. The teacher isn't very nice. He throws books at the students." Misaki said, finishing eating and taking his plates to the kitchen. He washed up the dirty dishes quickly. It was time for him to get moving again otherwise he was going to be late. As much as he really didn't want to go to the class. It wouldn't take to long though. |
Usami chuckled a little bit when he heard this. He knew that his friend from when he was a little kid worked at the college that Misaki was going to. His name was Hiroki Kamijo. "I am sorry to hear that," said Usami as he watched Misaki walk towards the kitchen. Getting up to his feet he stretched a little bit knowing that he needed to go back to his computer and finish everything before the weekend came so that he could focus all his attention on figuring out where they were going to go and what they were going to do when they left for the weekend. "Misaki," said Usami. "I am heading back to my study to finish my work." Walking towards the brunette he leaned over and kissed him gently on the cheek before retreating as he walked back towards the stairs. Turning around he smiled and said,"Have a good day at school."

"Alright, Usagi-san." Misaki told him. Though the brunette wasn't really expecting the kiss. His face turned red and he turned away in embarrassment. "I will..." he muttered. Though he wasn't sure how good the day would be. But he would try to make the most of it. He finished cleaning up, grabbed his bag, slipped his shoes on, called out his goodbye to Usagi, and headed off to school. Hopefully the day wouldn't last to long.

Usami was glad that the other male was having a good time at school. That was the main purpose of him going to Mitsuhashi in the first place. He heard the door clicked closed and he let out a sigh. It was only so lonely without Misaki in the condo with him. Shaking his head he continued to walk up the stairs, and into his study where he sat down. Leaning back in his chair he grabbed a cigarette. Lighting it he sat forward and took a long drag on it. Letting out another sigh he turned on his computer and began typing on it, and soon the screen showed countless websites of things to do around the hot spring that they would be going to.

Misaki went to class as always. This time, he didn't pay any attention to the other students. And ended up tripping while he was going up the steps. That was embarrassing. At least someone was nice enough to help. And they talked most of the day. The brunette went home happy, finally able to make a friend. Now to just tell Usagi-san.

Usami continued to stare at the computer screen that was in front of him. On his computer screen he had a tentative schedule that the two of them would be following when it came to the end of the week. He was a perfectionist by nature, and he wanted to make sure that everything would go according to plan without a hitch. Letting out a sigh he looked over towards the edge of the table where there was his pack of cigarettes. Leaning over he took one and put it into his mouth as he quickly lit it. He then thought of Misaki's smiling face and pulled it out of his mouth as he went and snuffed it out in the nearby ash tray. He remembered the brunette asking him to cut back a little bit on his smoking, and that was what made him stop. He then looked over at the opened pack of cigarettes. Taking the pack he deposited it in the nearby trashcan as he walked out of the room after he saved his document. |

Misaki went home with a grin on his face. "Usagi-san! I'm home!" he called. He was going to make something good for dinner, just to celebrate this occasion. He finally had a friend! This was the best day of school so far, after all. It needed to be celebrated! Dropping his bag by the couch, the brunette went into the kitchen to get something to drink. |
Usami ended up meeting with Aikawa-san (his editor). It was the same old song and dance with her. She was always swooning about his BL novels, and always harping about how he needed to be more attentive about his other novels. He couldn't really help it, to be honest. Especially with Misaki around. His BL novels were just taking off into the clear cosmos with all of the fodder that Misaki was providing him. After his meeting with Aikawa he went back to researching more information about the coming weekend as he hummed to himself. He stopped though when he heard the other male downstairs announce that he was home. Closing his computer he left the room as he made his way down the stairs. "Welcome home," said Usami as he smiled at the other male. "You sound awful happy today. What happened at school?" He was really interested in the other male's day for some reason. He was more concerned though that he had found people to occupy his time. This meant that he would be spending more and more time out of the condo that the two of them shared. He went to go sit down at the couch in front of the table as he said,"When you are done in there come in and tell me all about your day."

Misaki was making tea as Usagi came down the stairs. The brunette poured them both a cup before going into the living room and handing one to the other man as he sat down. "It was pretty much like any other day. Except that I finally made a friend. It made everything so much better." he said, sipping his own drink with a smile on his face.
