Usami watched Misaki walk around the kitchen as he made the tea. He smiled to himself as he heard that the other was still getting along poorly with the other students in class. It wasn't that he wanted the other male to suffer when he went to school, but he wanted the other male all to himself. This meant that he didn't want Misaki making new friends when he went out. He frowned a little bit though as the other male continued to say that he had found a new friend at the college that he was at. This was troubling indeed. He took the tea that was being offered to him. Looking into the liquidy depths of the tea he debating on what he would say next. Swallowing his pride and his upset manner he looked at the other male and said," That's wonderful." He tried to smile as well, and he knew that since he was a good faker, seeing as he had to do it a lot throughout his career, he was pretty sure that the other male would not see through his rouse.

Misaki grinned and nodded. "Yeah. It is wonderful! And he's my sempai, so he could be helpful with my classes." the brunette said, sipping his tea. This had definitely been the best day of school he's had since he started in college. He really didn't think there was anything that could bring him down right now. Though he was sure that Usagi would probably somehow find a a way to ruin his good mood. He always did at some point. But, anything he could do, the brunette could handle.

Usami gritted his teeth when he heard that the other male was calling his friend Sempai. While it was the right thing to call an older student that was in the same classes as you, it still struck a nerve that Misaki was getting close to someone else other than him. Usami took another sip from his tea as he tried to think of a way to change the subject away from the other male talking about his so called Sempai. Clearing his throat he looked at the other male and said," So are you excited about this weekend. I have a lot of fun things planned for us to do." He knew that he would have to act fast if he was going to make a lasting impression on the other male.

At first Misaki was confused for a moment. Then he remembered that they had made plans for the weekend. Then the brunette smile a bit and nodded. "Yeah. I'm sure that we'll have a lot of fun!" he said. He couldn't wait to see what Usagi was planning. He had plenty of time until the weekend. And though he knew the suspension would be killing him, he could distract himself by spending time with Sumi-Sempai. That would make the time pass by quicker, right?

((If we are going to be introducing Sumi-Sempai as a character in this. I think it would be best for me to play that role, seeing as it would be kind of odd if you had a conversation with yourself)).
Usami smiled when he heard the other male say that he was excited about going with him on another trip that he had planned. He could deal with this Sumi-sempai later. Besides, he had to visit his favorite English teacher at Mitsuhashi University anyway. Glancing at his glass again he noticed that he was running low on tea. Getting up from the couch that he was sitting on he walked into the kitchen and poured himself more tea. As he walked back towards the couch he looked at the other male and said," Aikawa-san will be coming over tomorrow to go over some editing things with me. We will be going out to dinner that night. If you want to come with us then you are more welcome to come with us. However, the decision is up to you." |

Misaki thought about it. "Its fine. I don't want to be a bother to you and Aikawa-san. I'll see if Sempai wants to go do something tomorrow instead." the brunette said. He always felt like he was in the way when the woman came over. Besides, it would get him a chance to spend time with his new friend. And that was definitely something he wanted to do. It was going to be great to finally have a friend. |
Usami listened to what the other male said as he continued to think of what he had to do in the coming meeting. He narrowed his eyes though when he heard that Misaki would be going to hang out with his Sempai. He knew that he should not have been jealous, but then again Usami was not one who liked to share. He then got rather irritated at himself for giving Misaki the chance to even have a decision in this matter. Then again he knew that the other would have most likely resented him for not giving him a choice. Letting out a sigh he removed his glasses as he put his head in his hands. He knew now more than ever that he would need to act fast with the other male when they went on their hot spring resort trip.

Misaki was silent for a while, watching Usagi. Then he stood up. "I'm going to start on dinner. Anything particular that you want?" he asked. If he had the ingredients, he would make whatever it was. Usagi seemed to be in a bad mood, so the brunette was hoping that he would be able to cheer him up a bit with a good meal. If not, he would have to find something else to cheer him up.

Usami was trying to quell the anger that was inside of him. He wasn't angry at Misaki. He could never be mad at the other male. Not now, and not ever. He was angry about this Sumi sempai. Whoever he was he vowed that if the two of them crossed paths there would be blood. Usami turned towards the brunette when he heard the other one ask what he wanted for dinner. His initial response was to say "you", but he decided that he wouldn't say that. Clearing his throat he said," Teriyaki chicken, miso soup, and rice." He hadn't had that in a while, and he always loved the sweet and savory taste of it. Besides, other than strawberries he knew that the brunette liked it as well.

Misaki was a bit surprised when Usagi didn't say that he wanted him in response to the question. But he didn't let it show on his face. Instead, the brunette smiled slightly at the older man. "Alright. Coming right up." he said, heading to the kitchen. He started cooking. It took a while, but when it was finished he set the table before turning back to Usagi. "Dinner's ready." he called.

Usami watched as Misaki went to go and begin making dinner. Laying down on the couch he closed his eyes as he let his mind wander a little bit. He kept thinking of what he needed to do. He actually didn't want to see Aikawa-san if it meant that Misaki wasn't going to be with him. He had done it enough times before, but he wanted Misaki to experience the riches of his world. He wanted the brunette to experience things that he would have never experienced had he stayed with his brother in Kyoto. Rolling over he got off of the couch as he went towards the dinner table when Misaki said that it was time for them to eat. The food smelled heavenly, like always, but this time it smelled specially delicious since it was his favorite food. Sitting at the table he took a sip from the water glass that was in front of him as he said,"Itadakimasu." as he began to eat.

Misaki waited until Usagi was seated before sitting himself. He muttered "Itadakimasu." as well before beginning to eat. He kept his head down as he ate, but he was looking up at the older man. The brunette could tell something was wrong with the other, but he just couldn't tell what it was. A part of him thought that it was because of him and that thought upset him. He hadn't done anything to upset him. At least, he didn't think so. He wanted to know, but wasn't sure if he should ask. After a moment, he decided he might as well. "Um... Usagi-san... Is something bothering you?" he asked.

Usami continued to eat as he tried to sort through his own turbulent emotions. He didn't want to deal with Misaki and his so called friend right now. What he wanted right now was to embrace the other male in front of him. Looking up from his rice bowl as he heard the other male speak he swallowed the rest of his rice as he tried to figure out what to say to the other male. What was he supposed to say to the other one? That he was angry that he was hanging out with other people. It was the truth, but he didn't want to say anything. On the one hand Misaki was a growing teen that deserved to make friends, but he also didn't want the other male to get hurt. He would protect the other male to even to the point that he would isolate him from everybody else. "Everything's fine," said Usami. He knew that it was a lie, but he didn't want the other to worry about him either. " I am just becoming a bit stressed about work, and this upcoming meeting. Nothing that you should worry yourself about." He hoped that the other would believe him.

Misaki was silent, thinking about that. He felt like Usagi was lying to him, but he couldn't think of a reason why, so he pushed the feeling away. The brunette nodded and smiled at him. "Alright.. I understand." he told him. He finished eating and stood up. "Do you want anything else to eat?" he asked, gathering up his dishes to go wash them.

Usami continued to eat some more. He looked at the other male wondering if the other believed him, but then he let out a small sigh when heard the other male say that he understood. Taking another bite of food he nearly choked on it when he heard the other male ask if he wanted anything else to eat. Did Misaki not know how tempting he was right now. He smiled as he he thought about what the other had said and before he could stop himself he blurted out," Yes you." He then looked down at the table not really believing what the other had said. Hopefully, the other would not have heard him or would at least let it slide.

Misaki instantly blushed. That wasn't what he was expecting. "I-I meant for food!" the brunette exclaimed, his head turning away. He went and put his dished in the sink and started filling it up before turning back to Usagi. "So would you like some more food to eat?" he asked, being more specific. As much as he want to go hide in his embarrassment, he was going to do what needed done first. Then he could go hide in his room.

Usami broke out into a smile as he heard the other male. He could see the other male blush. Success! He just loved pushing the others buttons sometimes. He thought about it for a moment. "I would like some more rice, and a bit more stir fry. I do always love your food." He tried to be nice to the other male to try and diffuse the tension. He figured that the other male would be heading to his room after this to go and hideout, and that made him feel bad all of a sudden. Tilting his head down he wanted to hide his shame for making the other feeling uncomfortable. He didn't know why his emotions were so conflicted when he had to deal with the other male. He knew what he wanted, he wanted Misaki, but he also wanted the other to want him as well. He wanted the other not to resist his advances.

Misaki nodded at the request. That he could do. He went over to the table and grabbed Usagi's plates, going to the kitchen and refilling the plates. Then he returned and set them back on the table. The brunette smiled slightly at the older man before cleaning up the leftovers and washing the dishes. "Alright. Done. Now then. I need to do some homework, but if you need anything, just ask." he told him before grabbing his bag and heading up to his room.

Usami looked at the other male as he saw him remove his plate from the table. He watched the other's retreating form. He let his mind wander into places that his mind probably shouldn't be wandering into. He let out a chuckle when Misaki came back over with his plate of food. "Thanks," said Usami as he smiled at Misaki. He was about to say more to the brunette, but decided that he wasn't going to since the brunette said that he had homework to finish. He knew that it was important for the other to get his work done, especially since there wasn't going to be anything to hinder the weekend from going off without a hitch.

Misaki sat at the desk and immediately began working on the homework. After a few hours, he kept nodding off, so exhausted. And he wanted to take a bath before bed since he knew he wouldn't have time before class started. So, the brunette made himself get up and get to the bath, letting himself relax in the hot water. He just about fell asleep in there, but managed not to. He walked back to his room in a towel and pulled on some clean boxers and pj pants then slipped into bed.

Usami continued to work well into the evening on his final chapters of his up and coming BL novel. He knew that he would be busy with making the next installment of it as soon as he had gotten back from his trip with Misaki because he knew that he would have much more material to work with. Satisfied with the work that he had done that night, he made final adjustments to the "master" plan to the vacation that they would be going on Usami was really looking forward to this. He heard the other male's door open and then the bathroom door shut. Straining his ears he heard the sound of the shower go on, and he wondered briefly if he should ask the other male if he would like him to join him. He knew that the brunette would end up hating him, but he would at least get a laugh out of pushing the others buttons. Glancing at the clock he decided that he should probably be going to bed as well since he had a lot of things to discuss with Aikawa-san the next day. Heading up to his room he waited for the other male to get out of the shower before he went in himself. Taking a quick shower he went back to his room, and got dressed into his night clothing. Turning off the light he got into bed and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Misaki slept until morning, when his alarm woke him. Groaning, he rolled out of bed and shut it off. Rubbing his eyes, he went downstairs to the kitchen to get started on breakfast. He pulled the ingredients for omelets out, still half asleep. It was quick and easy to make. Which was good because the brunette wanted to get some laundry done before leaving for school.

Usami woke himself up as he sighed rather loudly in his sleep. Blinking a few times he looked around. He was still in his room, in his bed. Glancing around the room he concluded that he was rather alone in the room. So what could have woken him up? Thinking back to what had happened before he had awoken a smile began to spread its way across his features. If only his dreams could have been made a reality. However, as long as Misaki was going to refuse his advances his dreams would stay in his mind and in his BL novels. Glancing at his clock he noted that it was about time that he needed to get up anyways. Kicking the covers off he got up as he walked out of the room, down the hallway, and into the bathroom. As he passed the hallway area that was in front of the kitchen he inhaled deeply. He could hear Misaki up already making something that smelled like an omelette. Closing the door behind him he went to take a shower, a cold shower. Once that was done he dried off quickly, wrapped the towel around his waist, and then made his way back into his room where he began changing into clothes for the day.

Misaki heard Usagi leave his room and enter the bathroom. He started some coffee, knowing it was hard for the older man to wake up in the morning. Then he served the food and set the table before taking his seat. Now all the brunette needed to do was wait for the other then he could eat. Then get dressed, start some laundry, and head off to school. Sounded like a good enough plan to him anyway.

Once Usami was dressed in something presentable to be in when he walked into the kitchen he made his way out of the room and towards said kitchen. The food, silverware, and drinks were already set out. He smelled freshly brewed coffee and smiled. Nothing made a morning better quite like the special brew. Sitting down at his normal seat he said,"Itadakimasu," as he took his chopsticks in hand. He ate some rice, placed the bowl back down, and then took his coffee mug and took a rather large gulp of the coffee. Placing the glass down he looked at the other male from across the table, thanking the gods for his good fortune to be sharing this space with the other male. Clearing his throat he looked at the other male and said," Aikawa-san will be coming over later this afternoon. We will be going over some plans, and then we will be heading out to dinner. I am meeting with my publisher as well." He stopped regretting the next part. "So you are on your own for dinner tonight." He paused again before saying,"Unless you have changed your mind, and you want to go with us. You know you are always welcome."
