Misaki blinked a few times, sleep still clouding his mind before he turned his attention to Usagi. Was he hungry? His stomach growled and it twisted, indicating that he was, indeed, hungry. He nodded and swung his legs over the edge of the bed, setting his feet on the ground. "Yeah. I am." he said, smiling lightly. "What is there to eat here?"

Usami nodded as he heard the brunette in front of him wondering about what there was to eat. "Well," started Usami. "I know that they have a buffet style breakfast kind of thing, and that there is also a restaurant. Depends on where you want to go,"said Usami as he looked at the brunette.

Misaki thought for a moment. What was he in the mood for? Buffet or restaurant? "I'm going to say... Buffet." he said. That way, he'd be able to eat as much as he wanted without feeling like he was asking too much of Usagi. "if that's okay with you." he added. He didn't want to feel like he was pushing the older man into it.

Usami nodded his head. He was thinking buffet as well. If what he had discussed with Takahiro way back when, Misaki didn't want to be a burden on anyone at all, much less impose his views on that person. He was always looking out for other people, yet he was also completely neglecting himself as well. "That sounds fine. We have to give in these wooden blocks though," said Usami as he went up and began rummaging around in the envelope that he was given when they had come to the hotsprings. It had their meal tickets for the whole duration. Walking back over he placed them on the bed in front of Misaki. "I am going to get dressed and grab a shower," said Usami as he got up again and closed the door to the bathroom behind himself.

Misaki nodded, glad that Usagi seemed to agree to his idea. He stretched his arms out, wanting to get a shower as well, but the older man was already heading to the bathroom. The brunette frowned for a moment before shrugging. He could always take one later. 'Looks like I'll just read til he gets out.' Misaki thought. He stood up to retrieve his book, but paused. Usagi was in the bathroom... Now would probably be a good time to change, since he wasn't in the room. He dug through his back quickly, wanting to be done as fast as he could. Once he found what he was looking for, he stripped out of his sleeping clothes and put on normal clothes before he picked up his book from the ground and took his seat on the edge of his bed.

Usami got himself into the shower as he let out a yelp of surprise. The water was freezing cold. Colder than anything that he had ever felt in his entire life. It was so cold that it burned. Finishing his shower quickly he practically jumped out of the shower, dried off quickly as he shivered, and then dressed quickly in the bathroom. He combed out his hair a little bit, and then left the bathroom to see that Misaki was already dressed and reading a new manga. "Are you ready to go?" asked Usami as he looked at the brunette.

Misaki could hear Usagi yell out in the shower. Worry crossed his face for just a moment, but it disappeared when he figured it just had something to do with the shower. He dropped his attention back to his book and was just starting to get absorbed into it when he heard the bathroom door open and the older man's voice. He marked his page and nodded when he heard the question and stood up. "Yeah. Let's go."

Usami nodded as he went towards the door that led to the hallway, got on a pair of slippers that were provided and then walked out into the hallway. He waited until Misaki was out of the room before he closed the door, locking it. "Well off we go then," said Usami as he took Misaki's hand in his own and began walking down the hallway towards where the buffet was being held.

Misaki slipped on his own pair of slippers quietly, eager to get something to eat. His stomach twisted, begging him for food, and he mentally told it that he was going as fast as he could. A faint blush spread across the brunette's face though when the older man took his hand. He wanted to pull away from him, but he couldn't seem to bring himself too. "You don't have to hold my hand you know." he muttered.

Usami turned to him and shushed him as he tightened his grip a little bit more. "I know that I don't," said Usami as he looked at the brunette and smiled. "I do it because I want to," said Usami. Continuing to walk down the hall wall he ended up in front of the dining area where the buffet was. "Lead the way in," said Usami as he looked to Misaki.

Misaki dropped his gaze to the ground, the blush on his face darkening some. Yet he didn't pull his hand away. It wasn't until they reached the dining area when he was finally able to have the strength to pull his hand out of the older man's grasp. He nodded and entered the room and saw that there weren't many people in the room. There was one elderly couple along with a few scattered people who didn't seem to be with anyone else.

Usami followed behind Misaki as they entered the restaurant area. He loved doing this kind of stuff with Misaki. The area wasn't too populated. So that meant that they would at least have a quiet breakfast together. Taking out his wooden ticket he placed it in the plastic basket and then walked over to where there were plates. "This looks really good," said Usami as he looked at all of the different kinds of foods.

Misaki put his wooden ticket in the basket as well and followed Usagi to the plates. The smell of the food made his stomach twist painfully, but he pushed the feeling away, knowing they'd be eating in just a moment. He nodded his head in agreement at the older man's comment. "Yeah. It does." he said, smiling lightly.

Grabbing a plate from a nearby table he began walking down the different rows of food. His first choice was to get something with a ton of sugar on it, but then he decided that something more healthier should be on the menu instead. Getting some fresh fruit from the cart he began walking over to a nearby table. |

Misaki copied Usagi and grabbed his plate as well. All the different foods on the table looked so good, that he wasn't sure what he wanted to eat. He decided with pancakes, egg, and a small pile of fruit. At least he was getting something healthy to eat. He knew that if he didn't, then Takahiro would be disappointed in him and that was the last thing he wanted. Once the food was on his plate, he followed after the older man to their table and took a seat. |
Usami sat down as he saw the brunette come towards the table as well as he sat down. Getting up from the table he got up again to go and get his daily cup of coffee. Walking back to the table he took a long sip of his coffee as he began eating. He knew that he needed to eat soon. Turning to Misaki he looked at him as he smiled. "Are you enjoying what you are eating, Misaki?"

Misaki started eating his food when Usagi got up to get his coffee. He had to admit, the food was good. It was better than the food he makes for Usagi, that's for sure. A small smile formed on his face, now determined to get his cooking to be as good. When the brunette heard the question, he nodded. "Yeah. It's really good." he said. "You should try it." With that, he held out his fork for Usagi to try some of the pancake, even though it would have been just as easy to go get another plate.

Usami smiled as he looked at the brunette in front of him. He was glad that Misaki was enjoying the food that he ate. Turning his head though he looked at Misaki to see the other male holding out a fork with a bit of pancake on it. Leaning forward he took the fork into his mouth and took the bit of pancake off of it. Leaning back he smiled happily as soon as his mouth was flooded with batter and sweetness. "That's really good," said Usami as he swallowed the pancake. "Do you want any of my fruit. I have some strawberries if you want some."

Misaki smiled lightly when Usagi seemed to enjoy the piece of pancake. He jabbed at a piece of egg and munched on it quietly when he heard the older man's question. Strawberries did sound good... And they were his favorite fruit.. But he didn't want to feel like he was taking anything from Usagi. So the brunette shook his head. "No thank you." he said, his tone polite.

Usami looked at the brunette and smiled. He was doing it again. Always being more aware of the people around him first and himself second. He rolled his eyes a little bit as he took the bottom of one of the strawberries into his mouth. He chewed on it thoughtfully as he looked at Misaki and said,"You should they are really good. I insist that you have a small bite, at least."

Misaki was silent for a second. It was so tempting to try one of the strawberries... But he didn't want to feel like he was taking anything from Usagi.. But, the older man was offering him one. So that should be okay, right? The brunette bit his lip thoughtfully for a few moments before nodding. "Well.. Since you insist, I wouldn't mind trying one." he said finally.

Usami looked at the face that Misaki had on and broke out into another smile. He could practically see the tug and pull of Misaki internally deciding on if he wanted the strawberry or not. He knew, from his brother, that strawberries were his favorite so that made it even more amusing. He nodded his head though when he heard the brunette say that he wanted to eat the strawberry. Leaning forward he placed the fork in front of Misaki like Misaki had done for him earlier.

A faint blush spread across Misaki's face when Usagi held the fork out to him. He knew he was being ridiculous at being embarrassed by the action, seeing as how he had done it just moments before. But there was just something about that action that made it seem intimate. But when the brunette had done it earlier, he thought nothing of it. Now he wished he hadn't. He mentally berated himself for thinking like that as he leaned forward slightly to take a bite. A smile grew on his face at the taste of the strawberry. "It's good~"

Usami continued to hold the fork in front of Misaki's awaiting mouth. He knew that the brunette had done the same to him earlier, and he smiled at the mere thought of it. Had Misaki done that on purpose, knowing him though he probably hadn't even thought about doing that, but it was still fun to think that the brunette had done something intimate in their "relationship". If you could even call it that, that is. Usami watched as Misaki ate the strawberry off of the fork that was in front of him, and he broke out into another smile as he heard that Misaki liked what he was eating.

Misaki dropped his gaze quickly to his plate when he swallowed the bite he ate. His heart-rate was faster than it should be and he focused on slowing it down while he kept the blush off his face. He jabbed a pancake with his fork and continued eating what was on his own plate quietly for a moment. Once he was sure the blush was gone, the brunette lifted his gaze to look at the older man. "Hey.. What do you have planned for today?" he asked, not really knowing what there was to do at a hot spring.
