Naruto flinched and looked over to the hard-faced raven. Gilt clinched at his heart and he looked away. 'Sorry..'

"Do not talk about my family again." he told him, glaring at him.

Naruot looked back, "Sorry!"

Sasuke glared at him before going back to ignoring him.

Naruto intently felt bad, he hadn't meant anything by it. And now that he thought about it, he could have withheld that small bit of information.

Sasuke waited until it was time for lunch as patiently as he could. Once the bell rang, he was gone.

Naruto chaced after him, wanting to be alone so he could apoligize.

Sasuke noticed Naruto following him, but he didn't say anything.

Naruto conyinued, then called after him when there wasn't anyone else near by, "Sasuke! Sasuke, I'm Sorry."

Sasuke stopped and looked back at him. "I know you are. Now stop apologizing. It's getting annoying."

"Oh.." the blond looked around ackwarly.

"Is there anything else you needed?" he asked.

"No...?" Naruto mumbled. Then smiled, "Hi!"

"... Hi..." Sasuke muttered, slightly confused.

"Um, me Kiba and some other friends, where going on a road trip next week. Do you wanna come?"

Sasuke shook his head slightly. "I don't think so.. I'm busy." which was a lie.

Naruto's happy face dissipated, showing grate sadness. He quickly put on a fake smile and nodded. "Okay..."

"Why? Did you want me to come?"

"Uh..." Naruto's eyes shifted around, "No, I...I was just trying to be nice, ya know, for helping me out yesterday. You don't have to come- not if you don't want to....but... But Kiba! He wanted you to come..." he was blabbering, which he always did when he lied.

"And why would Kiba want me to come? He hates my guts." Sasuke stated, crossing his arms across his chest.

Naruto's hart beated fast, eyes wide, "Dddd-did I say Kiba? Iiii-I meant Sakura. Yeah! Sakura wants you to come!"

"Well. If Sakura's going, then I'm definitely not." he stated.

Naruto sweat dropped, "Oh... um... She's ridding with Lee and Ino."

"Still. If her and Ino are going, I'm not. I can't stand being around them."

Naruto sighed and nodded, "Okay."
