Shiki held on as they headed off.

Xing resisted the urge to throw up. I think I left my stomach back where we started off. He thought.

Shiki held on tight.Hopeing everything would be okay.

It wasn't long before the group was at the hospital. "I'll wait outside for you guys." Elliot said.

Shiki blinked looking to Elliot."your not coming in?",he asked.

Elliot shook her head. "Someone's got to keep watch outside." She replied.

Shiki nodded."i'll keep you updated",he said calmly and headed inside, looking for someone to get information from.

A nurse strode by. "What're you two here for?" She asked.

Shiki looked to the nurse." our friend was just rushed in here by an ambulence",he saiod looking slightly paniced.

"Can you tell me your friend's name?" The nurse asked.

Shki nodded."Abby ...shes the one with the holed in her stomach",he said knowing the chances of someone haveing wounds like here would be rare.

The nurse nodded. "She's in surgery right now," She said, consulting her tablet.

Shiki siged."good...",he said sitting in a chair.

"I don't know when she's going to get out, due to the extent of the damage." The nurse said. "I'm sorry I can't tell you more?"

Shiki nodded."right, its lright",he said looking down.

The nurse nodded and strode off to the rest of her duties.
"Let me guess; you're afraid for Abby?" Xing asked. |
Shiki slowly nodded."Abby's my best friend, shes like a sister to me .....",he said leaning back in his chair.

Xing nodded. After a few minutes, he asked another question. "Have you ever seen Abby as anything else?"

Shiki blinked lookingh to him and shook his head."no never...why?",he asked now curious as to why Xing was asking.

Xing shrugged. "Well, just because I'm fourteen doesn't mean I don't notice a crush when I see one....."

Shiki smiled."oh, well its not Abby I have a crush on",he said calmly.

"I know." Xing said. "After all, it's not particularly a secret that you've got a crush on Elliot....."

Shiki blushed some."so what?"

"No reason...I'm just wondering when you'll ask her out." Xing replied.

Shiki blushed more."r-r-right....well um...",he looked nervous.
